As cool and iconic is the Mighty Morphin theme, my personal number 1 has got to be In Space, the line, "Long live the Power Rangers." Just hits so hard when you consider the legacy of the series.
For me, the theme of the classic Power Rangers, Space, Lost Galaxy and Time Force automatically reminds me of my childhood, and the Fox Kids channel is very remarkable! 😊💭
That crazy guitar riff for the first Power Rangers with the somewhat relaxed singing is so iconic. That was my childhood soap opera. I loved that it was on 5 days a week after school, but before dinner. Perfect time slot for EST in the US. I loved the show. RIP to JDF who played the og green/white ranger. He will be missed. Such a tragic passing!

I agree, though I had long since aged out of the series by then, it is a very exciting theme song. Those old songs were supposed to get you amped to watch an episode, and it's one of the few that actively do that well.
My problem with this whole list is that while PR is an impressive 30years old, having a list 20items long means that it's still going to be a matter of what gets left out that what's impressive.
Mystic Force, Time Force, Jungle Fury, Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, Lightspeed Rescue, In Space, Lost Galaxy, and Mighty Morphin (tv and movie) are my favorites.

i can sum up my love for the dino charge theme in just one lyric "GO GO POWER RANGERS DON'T YOU EVER STOP!!" and for over 30th years it hasn't. dino charge is a season that shows this series enduring legacy and that one lyric perfectly summed it up.

I fell off watching Power Rangers after S.P.D in 2005. I didn't get into Mystic Force & Operation Overdrive seasons because I personally thought the opening themes were crappy compared to S.P.D. and the ones before that. Once I listened to the Jungle Fury opening theme during the opening credits, I liked it & the more I listened to it, the more I grew to love it & the season as well. I was in my second semester of my high school senior year during the first 3 months of the Power Rangers Jungle Fury season(The season premiered in February 2008 when I was 17; my graduation ceremony was on June 13 of that year after I turned 18 years old 3 weeks before that on May 24). Good memories.
It sucks that current Power Rangers shows just use Go Go Power Rangers remixes nowadays. It feels lazy and forced compared to the previous Power Rangers shows that at least have unique songs that stand out and are catchy too.
I'm 39 and Power Rangers has been my jam for 30 of those years. My favorite is every Power Rangers theme song in existence. Those songs are among the reasons that Power Rangers has always been one of my favorite franchises.
I think more than any of them, Ninja Storm resonates as the team/theme of my childhood, and that walk up will never not make me feel like I can take on the world

Glad to see all my favourite themes here: Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder (number 1), S.P.D., Mystic Force... *these* are my bread and butter in this regard. But they're not the only ones! There is also Operation Overdrive, Wild Force and Time Force, all themes I like despite growing beyond the show as Operation Overdrive came out (I still liked it, but nowadays is the one I remember the least), and straight up being too young for Jungle Fury and Time Force (a testament to their quality).
I asked my friend on what he thinks the best Power Rangers intro is, he answered Megaforce. And honestly, I can't blame him, without the Bias towards "OGs" "Nostalgia" "The One that started it all" "terrible series", it definitely sounds the best (or one of the at least), it took the original and Morphed it even more.
I started to watching Power Rangers when "Lost Galaxy" (i was around 4 at the time) was airing on Saturdays. I watched it from then until "Samurai". This made me realize I always sang along to every intro. I used to always want the Red Ranger because for some reason, he was getting all of the power ups. Back then, it was called "Battlizer Mode". Dont know if they still call it that nowadays. Lol
One of my favorite things about Power Rangers is not only the costumes,the weapons,the zords or the kickass action, But also it's playlist of catchy, hype, exciting, cool and amazingly iconic lyrical opening themes. It gives me really strong Pokemon opening themes vibes.

Neo saban era theme all suck azz imo. They like to over use the :go go power ranger" line. Every theme aftrr zeo and before samurai are all unique without milking the nostalgic "go go power ranger"

As someone who started with MMPR when I was around 4 or 5, that first one is top, followed by Wild Force, Zeo, Dino Thunder, Turbo, Lightspeed Rescue, SPD, In Space, Jungle Fury and Lost Galaxy. They're the only ones that feel like actual power rangers themes to me.
Operation overdrive hits hard. While the show itself wasn’t the best, the theme was amazing Edit: super happy dino thunder made it into the top 5. it’s one of my top 5 favorites.

As someone who started with MMPR when I was around 4 or 5, that first one is top, followed by Wild Force, Zeo, Dino Thunder, Turbo, Lightspeed Rescue, SPD, In Space, Jungle Fury and Lost Galaxy. They're the only ones that feel like actual power rangers themes to me.
