Changed the chain on my XO t- type transmission as it was 0.5 wear , 7th now does this , tighten the axle and now 8th gear does it . Replacement cassette and still it does it . Some kind of alignment issue but I only changed the chain to start with
I had a similar issue with my GX AXS transmission, it happened, since then, when I released the screw fixing the rear derailleur to the frame. Anyway AXS was new thing to me, hence I did not realize there is an exact process how to install it correctly and not just tighten it back. It produced some crazy things and sounds on 3rd cog, but when I followed the installation video from SRAM, ( called - SRAM Eagle AXS Transmission System Installation ) everything works well (for now). I will keep you posted if it appears again. I hope this helps!
Dang this is frustrating, I have a brand new bike and I'm getting weird noises/jumping when in the 4th gear. micro adjust did not fix and it's already torqued to spec. I plan on reaching out to Sram.
Same thing for me in the 2nd highest gear. I am going to the shop so they can look at it. I have a few hundred miles on my 24 Supercaliber 9.9 XO, so not happy about this.
Some of the bikes we've seen this issue on has been fixed with a firmware update to the derailleur which gives it more range to micro adjust. This bike however also had a defective cassette with some janky teeth
Same problem on the same bike. I re-torqued everything and it worked. Axle was slightly under torqued.

Different drivetrain, but I had same exact issue and it was the chain. Wasn’t worn either, but swapping it fixed it.

Design flaw on the 3rd cog?
Strictly 35Nm ! Remember it guys.
same problem here. 14 miles new
Worn chain was the fault when I had that
Have you tried the derailleur micro adjust and check if it's a frozen link?
what do you mean by frozen link?
Same issue also they have warranty issues work RDs wobbling at the bike interface

Same here, new bike. I try a new cassette with same problem. Waiting for Sram now
Same issue with lauf seigla bike. I fixed the problèm with micro adjust
Micro adjust should fix that 👍🏻
You have frame alignment issues. Send back the frame under warranty
Same setup, exact same issue (3rd to cog). Brand new setup...

Interesting
Gut the same issue. Brand new system.
I have same issue 3rd cog brand new out of the box on new frame.
same issue on two cogs. brand new transmission.
What was the fix ?
Finally, I swapped derailleur with one we knew was working correctly. And the problem switched from one bike to the other.
@ so weird what would make the derailleur have that issues
The chain is so dirty
try a 0.70 Spacer Under the cassete should work then saw somone fix it like that
hi so did you solve this? im having the same issue on my pivot shuttle :-(
Have the same issue at my pivot shuttle. two cogs don't work properly. all other are fine.
@@mikeneumann220 and did you get it replaced under warranty?
@@mikeneumann220 have you figured out what to do with it?
Seems like a worn chain
I’ll stick with OG AXS
i also love the og axs but hate the weak clutch on it.
OG AXS is legit bullet proof, as stated the clutch is a little weak but otherwise it has never skipped a beat
