Luxury Hotel Review of Grand Solmar at Lands End; Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

- This is a review of the Luxurious Grand Solmar Resort and Spa at Lands End in Cabo San Lucas. We stayed in the Grand Suite and this is a video tour of Building #4, Room 203 and of the hotel grounds and beach. The beach was wonderful, clean and during the winter months We found this resort to have met all of our expectations and more. Amazing views and location. Lots of dining choices, multiple pools including adult only pools and jacuzzies, a sports bar and swim up bars in the pools. The rooms were modern, spacious and clean with great balconies as well. This resort is about a 40 minute ride from the airport and it sits right at the end of El Arcos. You can walk right up to that mountain and hike it right from the beaches of this resort. It is a 10 minute walk to the Marina or a $8 cab ride. We loved it's location as the Marina is where all the action is in Cabo San Lucas. This is also a timeshare resort that offers all inclusive as well. We were only asked once to see their timeshare presentation and after a firm no thank you, we were never bothered again. We would recommend this resort.

great video ! I would love to see more about the restaurants and food you get with the all inclusive next time. but over all great ! thanks , we might pick this one to be our next vaca.
Hey Ruben, thanks for the comments and suggestions. We did not do all inclusive so I was not able to shoot any video of that. We did eat once or twice at the restaurants and the food there was great. Overall the resort was amazing and I loved the location right next to The Arches. We had a great time and I highly reccomend this resort. It is very beautiful. A amazing resort! I would say though in Cabo you do not really want to be close to the airport, especially if you want to beclost to the marina where most of the action is. This hotel is very close to the marina and to also be right next to Los Arcos is amazing too. You can walk to it on the beach. Super cool. Thank you for the comment. I hope youlike my videos. Yes, I do believe there was a sliding wood door to separate the master bedroom area. I am glad you liked the video. I hope it helps you make your travel plans. You know one of my favorite places I ever stayed at was also there in Cabo. I have a video of that as well on my channel. It was a amazing hotel with one of the best views I have ever seen from my room. The hotel is called The Cape. It is a little farther from the marina area. I still have my time share but at Lands End. Looks like same furnishings and style in your room.
When was the last time you were there?
I didn’t stay at the resort but I was forced to see it. I was stopped with my family at the airport to get cheaper packages for trips- which was good but I feel like if we talked to someone else at my resort (which was elsewhere) we would get something better. So we were told that we can get our trips cheaper by coming in for a breakfast at Solmar. We thought it will be nice to check out another resort and get a breakfast. Not only we WASTED half day on the tour of the hotel, they tried to sell us Time Share packages - which to me sounded unreasonably expensive. At the end of the “Tour” day we were mistreated and told that we won’t get a ride back to our resort. We had to order a taxi. Don’t get stopped at the airport by any of the employees of Solmar trying to sell you packages. They want you to go and buy their timeshares. It was overpriced. And unfortunately we lost almost a whole day on NOTHING!!! Waste of time :(
Yep, not a big fan of timeshares presentations. Especially if it is just trying to get something for free. We just booked like a hotel room and were never bothered or pressured to take a tour. But I know it can happen. We may have been asked if we were interested and with a quick and stern no thank you we were never bothered again. Sorry you had a bad experience. Last year I was staying at Playa Grande resort and was also forced to do a timeshare here.
Thanks for the review! I don't see any beach chairs or lounge chairs on the beach in any pictures or videos. Is that not an option for laying on the beach? Also, is the water calm and nice to swim in?
I do not remember any on tbe Beach either. I guess you would have to ask the staff if you could take some down.
I'm always out and about , only in the room to sleep at night.

Yes, they did offer a all inclusive option if you wanted.
The resort is fantastic! But I wouldn't suggest the all inclusive, you'll probably save some money without
