I really love this video and the bjd dolls! Also a little tutorial on how to change the hands and feet: first pull the hand that you want to change out a bit so you see the string, than take a paper clip or something thin and long enough through the string so it doesn't fall inside the doll because then you'd need to fully re-string the whole doll, after you have your paper clip or something else between the string you can simply slide the hand out of the hook and slide the different hand in it, after that you can take the thing that's holding the string off and you've succeeded at changing the hand! The same thing works for the other feet that also come with these dolls! (That's also what the magnets are for, there are holes in the bottom where you can put them inside)
OMG THANK YOU! hahaha this is so so so helpful! I will have to try this!! and yay for the info about the magnets as well! I wasn't sure about those! I appreciate you watching and commenting :) so helpful. have an amazing week!
Those dolls are very cute 🙂 Not my personal style, I´m more into realistic clothes, but very cute. I will have to check out if you can get "backheads" for them, so that you can wig the. dolls. I ´m quite sure the magnets are for holding the head and hair together. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Aww yes, they are so cute! and YES I do want to see if I can find back heads, I'd love to try making some brushable wigs for them!!! someone said the magnets might be for their feet so they can stand on this little disc they put with the magnets- who knows! I will have to experiment and find out! thank you so much again for watching :) xoxo
Omg yay!!!! I’m so happpy you enjoyed the review, thank you so much for watching!!! You’ll have to let me know if you end up getting any Kika dolls!! 😍❤️❤️
These dolls are so cute! I love the amount of detail that went into their designs. If you want to get rid of the small paint imperfections you mentioned, take some nail polish remover or pure acetone and dip a cotton swab in it. That should pick up the paint pigment. :)
Funnily enough, my biggest gripe against these BJD dolls is the hair. I'm one if those oddballs who can't stand the brushable impermanent plastic hair strand texture of most dolls. But I've been loving BJD dolls for so long and it's like they've made something for me specifically! Haha Lolita style too so all the better for me. XD Though I've been a long fan, the hair being the one downside made it so I was drawn more to lalaloopsy throughout the years. Colorful, playful, and "hard headed" themed dolls. Lol. But now I finally have this option!!! 🥹✨ So happy~
Omg you’re right- they are very lalaloopsy!!! I sooooo wish we could get brushable hair wigs for these dolls!!! Who knows maybe some day. I love to do hairstyling . The Lolita style is sooo cute, I love it so much. Maybe I will try to customize a wig for them!!! Thanks for watching :) xoxo
These sre adorable and they kinda remind me of the Japanese figures from popmart. I like that they are joined. The ears are adorable. You might have the whole collection. Putting one together is like a puzzle.
Cute review! I’ve gotten a few of the blind box small dolls from Kika Goods, the ones that are 6 inches and under. I’m impressed with all of them and I especially love the ones with inset eyes.
Thanks for the great video and congrats on the free set of cute dolls! These are really pretty and a lot taller than the usual small BJDs we see from Kikagoods. I like how there's some variations in their outfits even though they look similar on first glance!
aww thank you so so much!! yes, I love that these are taller and 1/6 scale!! I do like the variations as well, they each still feel unique! thank you so much for watching :) xoxo
It's your first time, so you explain it, and you seem to be so good at assembling comfortably. Choker, yes. Chokers are important. Hahahaha. 😂 It's done so beautifully.
Awwww thank you so so much! Trust me, I did a bit of struggling off camera and edited everything to appear smooth and easy! Hahah. But by the end of them it was getting easier!!! And yes the chokers are so cute, I can’t believe I almost forgot it!!! Hahah xoxo
Such interesting dolls! I love that these are articulated and customizable. They seem to be very well made as well. I have seen similar Japanese dolls where they are more like "statues." These allow for more play possibilities. I have always hoped that Barbie would incorporate some of the BJD /action figure features such as swappable hands and feet and extra posing hands, etc. But I am not holding my breath.
yes right!! they are really nice quality! I love the posablility! I would love to see barbie do something like this as well!!! how cool would that be... .who knows, some day. thank you so much for watching :) hope you're doing great! xoxo
Today's video was so new. I wondered if I didn't come in well for a moment. Hahaha. However, it's so fresh and enjoyable. I always respect fun videos and new attempts. Thank you. To a kind person in New York~ ♡
Awww you’re so sweet! Yes today was a very new experience for me! I’m very grateful to be able to try and show you something new! Thank you my kind friend in Korea! Xoxo
Thank you for unboxing and review, I decided buy all 6 all look awsome. By any chance going to review or check CCTV ones? Keep up your channel is good to see doll lover.
The magnets are for their feet. You glue the magnets to their feet and then the disk becomes a sort of stand. I guess you have to stick the disk to a surface so it is stable. I saw that the feet have holes for the magnet and I guess the shoes does too. Hands and feet exchange/removal is pretty easy. My smallest BJD is a 1/4 and when I remove her hands, I first pull out the hand to expose the elastic and S-hook, then I use a chop stick and place it in the elastic loop, that way it won't get pulled back into the arm, then I just remove the hand from the S-hook or remove the hand with the S-hook. Same thing with the feet. What you use as a stopper depends on how strong the elastic is. A plastic chop stick works for my 1/3 boy who is bigger than my 1/4 girl. The bigger doll the thicker/stronger the elastic is. Re-string my boy is a workout. Though I'm only 5'4 and he is like 24 inches. Lol. I love the mint one.
Omg !!! Thank you! I had no idea hahaha that makes sense now. Yes that’s what I was scared/ the loop would get pulled back up into the arm!!! Chop stick is brilliant! I will have to try it out! Thank you so so much:) yay! Xoxo
These are soo cool! Very different! Wouldn’t mind these dolls! Though honestly, I’d be scared doing the eyes myself. I have zero coordination. lol! I’d definitely need a perfectionist to help. 😂😂but wow their outfits are so beautiful!
HA! yes the eyes are tricky- but arent they so cute! very different for me as well, but its so nice to have something new in my collection :) thank you so much for watching! and yeah, the outfits are incredible!!! xoxo
These dolls remind me of anime characters. They are interesting and cute. Grant I would suggest trying a magic eraser to remove the stains on the dolls arms.
