    You should have purchased fuelx pro, i am using it in my bike and my frnd has lite, pro does work way better and we can control based on scenario.

      Thanks. You have a point and I actually gave it a thought and tested pro before purchasing as well. The company clearly mentioned that FuelX lite does exactly the same thing what FuelX Pro does at Map 6/7. Pro has the same sensors as the lite. The only advantage with Pro is customizing the Lean and Richness of the fuel. Better suited if you plan to have an aftermarket ECU installed. But I am a fit it and forget it kind of person, so Lite works fine for me. The actual test will be if I take this to Ladhak ever, where a leaner mixture will be required.

      Happy riding, I have clicked 53k kms in total, 25k stock and rest with fuelx pro and powertrinics ecu, I absolutely love with fuelx and ECU experience, over stock one.

      @@jayanthmakam4547 i also have fuelx pro plus on my adv 390 but my bike still jerk between 2000 to 3000 rpm after 3000 its smoothen out the power did uhh face the same issue?

    This is very misleading, this bike is happy in the above 6000 RPM range, i don't even get into second gear until probably 40kmh

      Not blessed with open roads like there. Do plan a motorbike tour across India.

      ​@@jimbart7859Good if you did. I doubt that though. Especially the RE part. Those produce some serious torque except for the Himalayan 450. A breeze to ride at lower speeds without frequent downshifts. Complete opposite to the KTM 390 Adventure.

    I would suggest you to avoid putting fuel ex or fuel ex pro . It’s not good long term . Better get a smaller front sprocket and you will be at peace. I have clocked 66k km in three years and it’s been a bliss after I changed the sprocket aftet23k km and I have not faced any issues yet. Low end get improves and even doesn’t effect your top end and keeps your machines in good condition. I have seen people putting fuel ex and they had faced issues later. My advice get a smaller socket.its the character of the machine n you have to get used to it and you will enjoy this character later.

      Appreciate the valuable feedback. I have ridden in that setting as well though. The mid range gets hampered noticeably. And I don't have any issues with the stock setup now. My major issue was erratic fuelling that fuel x resolves. Already bought so let's see, how long this lasts.

      @@virajvrooms neither I had issues with stock setup . Constant gear changes will put stress on your arms n legs which I face after riding for 24k km . Just for an experiment I changed sprocket n happy with the setup n it did really help during my Ladakh ride especially in Killar roads where you have to constantly be on gear shifts but since I had changed the sprocket it really worked like charm on those terrains , since I do a lot of off road stuff n long distance distance cruising where it helped me. But its upto you n how you keeps the revs n shifts in order to keep the motor running at low end, I am not sure how it hampered your mid end but I have not faced any such issues. Even my top end is not affected. Not sure why you are facing this issue. Keep everything in stock n factory stuff. I have few riders who installed all the gizmos n later regretted it. Happy riding

      @@pankajkusanale93 Correct. But the low end improves at the cost of mid range. Top end doesn't really matter as we are never going to get free patches for prolonged duration. I tested it on a dyno. Also as you said, the gear change is personal preference. I didn't find any issues earlier or even after FuelX. But a lot any people have been complaining and falsely pushing FuelX as a solution, so have included that as well.

      @@virajvrooms my low and mid end improved infact. 66k km not an issue yet. See how it goes for your machines. Try which works well for you. I have seen many adv riders spend fortune on these gizmos n regret later. In fact my colleague adv stalled on high altitude many times all bcse of this fuel X. Many other in my group later removed it put sprocket. See which works well for you n keep munching miles.
