Thr La11 was my favorite Chinese plane to grind with and I totally skipped the LA series planes in the Russian tree because I didn't know how to use them. As China I didn't have much choice on playing it lol 😆
I don't play nor intend to ever play the Russian tree, but the La-5, La-7 and especially Yaks feel ridiculously OP when fighting against (and that was generally my experience from playing Hungarian Yak-9). Compared to Italian planes on the similar BRs they are in general superior in every aspect. I know they are supposed to get weaker above 4-5km, but that's not where the fights are in the current meta. And even then fighting Yak-9 in Bf-109 is very challenging. I feel like BRs 5.0-6.0 (maybe more) require serious decompression in general, but Russian fighters ought to get a hight BR.
The La-5s could stand to go up a step with this buff. Select Yaks are under BRed too. Specifically the vanilla Yak-3s, that should be 4.7 and maybe 5.0, and the 3U and 3VK, both of which need to go to 6.3. The Yak-1B and 9 could arguably go up a step too. Beyond that the rest seem fine to me. So long as you know the weaknesses and can exploit those weaknesses they aren't too difficult to handle. The Hungarian Yak-9 isn't OP. It just happens to be a jack of all trades that has a performance strength it can leverage against anything it faces. This is true for Yaks in general when they aren't under BRed. The issue is that there are so many players that are bad that anything that handles well can dominate because of turn meta. The Yaks happen to be the fastest planes that also turn well, sans the Typhoon, meaning that if you know what you are doing they are great do anything planes. As for compared to Italian fighters? Because Italian fighters are over BRed for the most part. None of the 205 family is better than 4.3. Same can be said of the TT G.55s. The Re.2005 is a worse Mk.IX Spit (the 4.3 Mk.IX) that sits up above 5.0 because player base.

Ah yes altitude in my tank
Same way you have fuel in your tank
Used to be my favourite when i was still very new to the game, but i always hated the compression, would be fun to play now.
6:48 Nice.
yeah that stall was simply disgusting.
trailer moment
Defyn prop gameplay... My long awaited kino is here......
They went from way too long of a timer to way too short. So many great games ended too soon these days.
Didn't mind this one too much as it was just a bomber but still a sour way to end a fun game
I’m starting to see more of there just being teams of almost straight bombers/strike and they just suicide ground pound for a couple of minutes until they die while 1 person just stays at their airfield. It’s annoying because there’s no way to beat it and you just lose on tickets
@@DEFYN the timer is so horrendous, making it easier to end a match by hitting ground targets was the only change they really needed to make so you can just focus ground if enemies are camping/running. also shortening the time was overkill.
What the hell,t his plane was already pretty good, time to play it again then
shvaks are so goated, easily my favorite 20mms
Which doesn't make a lot of sense really - hispanos had higher velocity rounds and more explosive per round, but don't seem to perform nearly as well as the shvaks in-game.
@ hispanos feel very inconsistent to me. One minute they’re great, the next they’re awful.
O dat is een mooi vliegtuig ik heb zojuist en psvr2 gekocht voor Aces of Thunder een nieuw Gayin vr spel zou ongelofelijk moeten zijn komt uit in 2025
You're fantastic
edit: At 1:03 ish you accidentally say "Having a little bit of altitude in your *tank*..." instead of aircraft, but no big deal obviously.
Tank as in something to store something in
0:30 that’s why don’t fly Russian, I don’t pull out 😂 #FockeWulfGang
Imo La-5FN deserves 4.0 with the new FM
So happy that I researched and bought La-5FN before I-185 (yes, I just opened III rank vehicles)
Rank 3-4 is where the fun is
Thr La11 was my favorite Chinese plane to grind with and I totally skipped the LA series planes in the Russian tree because I didn't know how to use them. As China I didn't have much choice on playing it lol 😆
pretty surprised with this. there are some more unplayable planes, but anyway nice i can cosplay zero on my la-7
What the heck is an "LA-5 Green" ??? I never heard of that.
green fn
@@cabbage9440 what is the "green" referring to? What does "green" mean?
@@paladinfx3083 just look up green on google it really won't make much more sense than it does right now
green fn
@@KGM4024 Are you saying Green just means the FN model?
@@rainsilent I could not have said it better myself. I agree with you 100%. Thanks for a thoughtful reply.
"having altitude in a tank" 1:03
Same way you put fuel in your tank
Does this buff apply to the La-11 as well?
Ford mustang of the skies
My poor german 20mm getting massacred
Can you play the Sugamaru next?
he's good!
Could you do one on the early ussr jets? About to reach that threshold so it would be super useful to figure out what to grind
Yak-15 for lulz
MiG-9 into MiG-15 into MiG-15 bis.
Don't bother with the rest. Unlike American Rank 5 they are all their own kind of whacky and only the MiGs hold their ground.
@@DzinkyDzink The hell? Su-9 is a literally better Me 262, being a good all-arounder, the La-200 has cracked speed and climb for its BR and the La-15 is literally one of the best 8.0 jet, having great acceleration, amazing agility and well-placed guns with a good amount of ammunition. Just because you didn't bother to play them, don't say lies.
They buff flight performance of USSR prop planes instead of jets? Talking about missing the mark.
Lagg3 is beyond broken now
Not really. Still worse than 3.0 Yaks as the Yaks still turn and climb better. LaGG is faster and is now, with this elevator buff, better in a dive.
La-200 please 😊
We got buffed La-5 before etc etc
Just flew this bird out after seeing this. 6 kills. Yak 3e and Vb whatever on the af. STILL can’t even get within shooting distance, diving STRAIGHT down without getting taken out by AAA. Gaijin, WHEN WILL YOU FIX/remove! Love the vids btw.
A Russian vehicle.. getting a buff? … in War Thunder? .. surely not 😅
My favourite WW2 plane is now a lot better, sick
Why do you randomly press the tab button?
Can you do the Attacker at 7.0 pls
Can you plz make a bf109 guide?🙏
Defyn i get the F2G1($40) last nigth play some games and think The F4-Ub Corsair at 5.7 is better 😢😢😢😢
Plus i use WRTGI Overlay to see Engine HP Trust etc and at midle Speed they have the same Trust! What smells like a Wrong!
F4u4b and f2g are my favorite planes in the game .
The wep on the f2g will last the whole game , its limited on the f4u4b so late game the f2g is still a monster and the 4b is pretty good but not a monster
@@ScribesTV Well i think on Air Sim F2G1 is amazing! But fells like Corsair are Litle better even if Corsair was 6.0... F2G1 losse alot of F4 Agility and turn rate and the Engine fells like realy faster until lime 3500km maximum , after thath Corsair are ""Superior on Everything """! I Like The F2G1 ... very good CAS... Amazing on Air Simulation But i Think before i get the plane than F2G1 was Like clearly Better than F4-UB and until Now fells NO ! Maybe Only At 1000M!
@ramonzaions7522 can you link me the overlay ? Where do I get it ?
@@ScribesTV of Course my Friend... but i have thath at soo many time than i dont remember anymore... let me see here and i send the link for You!
Are we just not going to talk about the green fn comment 😂😂
So yaks and la’s now.
J-7D when
Ye but do it have amraams?????
NOICE

Everyone saying the Laggs are good now, but I strictly remember them being utter shite. They had no engine power at all and were always just worse yaks
Late LaGGs are ok. They still climb and turn worse than Yaks but they are faster and are better to dive with.
oh man because the FN definitely needed a buff and wasn't the best 3.7 overall
It wasn't the best 3.7. It wasn't even close to the best with the Ki-44-II at 3.7. The Ki-44-II climbs way better (over 5m/s better), maneuvers way better in both turn and roll and is barely any slower.
My favorite fighter aircraft of WW2 recieved actually good FM change and is featyred by Flying Dutchman himself. Thank you, DEFYN, very cool.

oh damn it I just uninstalled wt, guess I have to reinstall and play props again
