The fact Hoyo in a single patch added a FAST MATCHING multiplayer version of candy crush is the biggest "This is how it's done" I've seen this year so far. All the other companies struggling "Oh matchmaking is hard" bruh they did it in a single patch. And you know this just a testing ground for future multiplayer content! I honestly hope this sticks around I'm having so much fun
Detail: there are no matchmaking differences between players. No level differences, no ranks, no different equipment/class. So all you gotta do is match whoever is waiting on the lobby. But I agree that nowadays take longer than back a couple years ago.

Apex takes like a minute, overwatch can take like an hour even when we have confirmation theres more than enough people to match. (Not so sure about nowadays though, since i haven't played in a looong time.) I understand theres alot of differences here, such as the complexity involved. But hosting a server of 60 people FPS vs 12 people FPS in a smaller area is a bit sad. It's not the only example but the reason i point this out specifically is because so many games make the excuse of how "hard" it is. HSR was not made with any built in multiplayer based systems. Meaning they made it to not only work witht he existing system but were able to make it work efficiently across multiple platforms and even account for delay. That's a feat worthy of praise

It's a full-on bloodbath over there, there was one round where in just Round 2, half of the players were eliminated and the rest were at full hp. None of the games I played EVER got past round 5 or 6. There was always a victor within 5 rounds or less.
As someone who has had only two wins in there, I agree. It's ruthless af, and I had far too much fun spamming emotes to taunt while baiting them to waste their moves.
Just a tip for the pvp, use TB bird, its the best pvp bird due to low passive proc of only 5 kiwis, also try to save ur special bombs as they are automatically saved to the next round, if you have spare rainbow bombs and you're already winning, try not to waste them. This is why some opponents gets a lot of pts in a matter of seconds bcs they've been saving them for late game. PS: The highest pts i got is 600+ almost 700, and the amount of rainbow bombs are 2 and half row(basically 18)

The problem with Silver Bird is you don't get to make use of your super bombs because they don't do chain reactions to pop up even more fruits, Robird on the other hand does that pretty well.
In my personal experience Silver Bird worked great because in later matches there would always be super bombs next to eachother, and if you match two of those then it basically eliminates the top half of the board. I didn't use any other bird because I just wanted the rewards fast but SW does work really well as long as you win your first two matches imo

I spam emotes every single time I win a match or to taunt. Because. It's not just getting more points, but also making the enemy waste their moves. So going slow is viable....just not too slow.

Silbird's main problem is that it has the weakest early game. It's good at later waves tho, as long as you set those rainbow fruits correctly.
