Teaching like this will cause a lot of so called Christians to go to Hell. Read the word for yourselves and don’t get comfortable in your sins. Here are some scripture references
    1. Conditional Warnings: Hebrews 6:4-6 - “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened… if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance.”
    2. Need for Perseverance: Matthew 24:13 - “But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
    3. Falling from Grace: Galatians 5:4 - “You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.”

The same Spirit that seals us until the day of redemption, spoke expressly that some shall depart from the faith; by giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. This scripture proves that free will is in effect, and God doesn’t force us to continue in, or depart from His house. It also expounds on the reason why the Lord warns us about false prophets; which is, they bring false doctrine, and if real saints give heed to false doctrine, they will depart from sound doctrine.(the faith)

Mmmm.... Pretty sure it warns against that because it causes the unbelievers to fall prey to false prophets. And it can cause believers to stop furthering thereself on God's path... which is bad. But not eternal salvation ending.

Those who are saved and in Him have the desire to do this...those who are truly in Christ, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17)....the inward man has been renewed by the power of God and we are kept by the Holy Spirit (sealed) who dwells in us. So when Psalms talks about "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalms 37:4) it is not a passage written to unbelievers but it is encouragement to believers. Just as Psalm 23 ("The Lord is my Shepherd") Is not written for the world, it is NOT for unbelievers, but for those who are His sheep. When you keep Psalm 23 in its canonical context you understand it comes after Psalm 22. Psalm 22 to is how and unbeliever (an unbeliever must go through Psalm 22) gets to become His sheep in Psalm 23. Delighting ourselves in the Lord is a desire we have because we have been renewed and changed....being His sheep is the privilege we have because of our repentance and faith. Saved by grace through faith.

Salvation is secure not because of man’s ability to remain steadfast. But because of Gods INABILITY TO LIE and Go back on his word. The moment you believe that man bears responsibility asides from believing the gospel, eternal security makes no sense because of man’s natural shortcomings and inability to remain. Now the fullness of the love of God comes with his promises and not with his expectations on man. His trust is triune between the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the God head requires a relational promise. That’s why we have Jesus interceding on our behalf to the father and why we have the seal of promise which is Gods imperishable seed. We received these gifts upon believing the Gospel.
God gives the gift, we receive the gift and he guarantees the promise of the gift.
“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the GUARANTEE of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭

    • @IAmR1ch

Correct, salvation is not secure as you said.rom8 11And if the spirit of him that lives within you who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit, who lives in you. Brothers, we have an obligation but it is not to the flesh, and live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die but if put to death the misdeeds of the flesh you live.
People who are unsaved do not have the spirit living in them. So the scripture is speaking to the saved who have the Spirit in them. The cannot live according to the flesh, or they will lose their salvation (die). This is quite clear. Jesus goes guarantee an inheritance to us, but only if we live according to the spirit. if we live according to the flesh, he will not save you. You have to put to death the dead of the flesh or suffer the consequences

We were created perfect and without sin, but humanity fell into sin. Jesus came to redeem us from sin, offering salvation to those who believe in Him. This challenges the notion of ‘once saved, always saved,’ as our initial state of salvation was lost through sin. Therefore, salvation is not guaranteed but is a gift that must be preserved by living a life that turns away from sin.

I wish I could say Brother Corey has persuaded me, but he has not. I've heard all his arguments before. Saints of his persuasion make backsliding and apostasy impossible acts for Christians to commit. And when anyone does fall away from the faith, they have a nice explanation: that one was never truly saved in the first place! He talks about God not being a liar, and being able to keep His promises. No one in their right mind will make the failure of man the failure of God. Nothing bad has ever happen, and nothing bad will ever happen, because God failed in any way. He is the same God He will ever be, yet Adam failed, and that was not God's failure. People of this persuasion imply but never say out loud that God takes away our free will from us. They never say we become immune to temptation. They never claim we lose all ability to reject God, but they imply it. Now, if a saint cannot not overcome, why would the Lord make a big deal of overcoming? If a saint cannot will anything out of God's will, how and why would such a saint leave their first love, a dangerous first step in the wrong direction as the Lord's warnings lead us to believe? And if salvation is all up to God, and we cannot resist it, why are we urged to "work out" that salvation God "works in" us? Why are we told to "make our calling and election sure"? I hate endless, speculative debates. So I choose to err on the side of caution: I realize I have the ability to turn away from the Lord, but fearing that possibility, I cling to Him all the more, counting on Him to keep it. He works in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure, but He never made me a robot without free will.

Yes, I think people forget it's a relationship and not a dictatorship. Is God the king yes but only if we decide to follow him. And just like the devil at any time, we can decide if we want to stop following him. The same thing in heaven we can decide to stop following him at any time, but since he can see the future he knows which of us would decide to follow him for eternity just like the other Angels that decided to stay. • @RenardGarzaro
      @RenardGarzaro 2 месяца назад

No scripture says work for salvation, working out is just proving you have not part of the process of making it. When you help God out with salvation you can walk away, if you are save by grace you can’t. If he did not make you a robot you might not be saved, Jesus when talking to Nicodemus said being born from water and spirit was the only way to see the kingdom, he was referencing Ezekiel 36:25-27 God being the one talking said he would take out the heart of stone put in a heart of flesh, wash you with water, put his spirit in you and cause you to walk in his ways. Notice who was talking, who was doing, notice the requirements, notice the results. Sounds pretty robotic to me.
How come you don’t use your free will to never sin again?

It doesn't mean that salvation and deliverance isn't available to you. You can return to Christ. You cannot continue to do sinful things while having salvation and expect to inherit the kingdom of God.

If you are saved by you ability to make a good decision, if you provide the faith, you can walk away because you are not saved by grace.
If the faith you provide comes from man's intuition, his ability to learn, understand and make good decisions it is works as described in Ephesians 2:8-9 - you can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The sentence starts with being saved by Grace and Grace is an unmerited favor meaning you do nothing to obtain the salvation.
The sentence goes on to say through faith and we know you have to have faith in Jesus, the issue is how do we come about having the faith.
If we are graced the faith by God opening our eyes and ears and conditioning our hearts to the Gospel then we are saved by Grace as opposed to being smart enough to make a great decision.
People who are saved by Grace know they would not shot without God, people who are not saved by grace feel as though they participated with God in the justification process, "God does some, I do some and together I am saved".
Remember Jesus said his sheep follow him and he ordained that they bear and that fruit would remain - 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. ordain means - (especially of God or fate) prescribe; determine (something);order or decree (something) officially.

The only other version I've found that uses the term "remain" The Living Bible puts it in proper context, i.e., "remain THERE UNDISTURBED" which clearly relates to a dwelling in peace in physical location on earth and not eternal salvation as you're suggesting.

Neither did the early Christians.acts8 15 When they arrived (the apostles) they prayed for the new believers that they would receive the Holy Spirit , because the Holy Spirit had not fallen on any of them, they were only baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit comes on you after you have had hands laid on you, and then you will speak in tongues and prophesy. If this has not happened to you, you have not received the Holy Spirit that Jesus, Paul and the apostles spoke about.

Those who are saved and in Him have a desire to serve the Lord...those who are truly in Christ, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17)....the inward man has been renewed by the power of God and we are kept by the Holy Spirit (sealed) who dwells in us. I believe most people look at salvation as an outward thing and doesn't understand what truly happens in the spirit realm when one is born again. Our old man is dead therefore we are dead to sin. Not that we're perfect but we now agree with God that sin is sin. Romans 6 explains if we have died to sin then how can we live in it any longer.

What should we say then? Should we continue in sin so that grace may multiply?
    2
Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
    3
Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
    4
Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newnessfn of life.
    5
For if we have been united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also befn in the likeness of his resurrection.
    6
For we know that our old selffn was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sinfn might be rendered powerless so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin,
    7

Then later on in 16, Jesus echoes the same statement! The allegory in this passage Jesus targets people who only profess to be Christians; these are the type that outwardly "appear" to be Christians(connected to the Vine) but they are not. They're twisted up with the legitimate branches that are connected to the Vine.
Verse 4: Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.
Verse 16: You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
You aren't the cause of your salvation. You aren't to be puffed up for your ability to bear fruit. You have no power. All the power you have to walk in the ways of Christ is given ONLY by Christ! Humble yourself and try not to think you can supercede God's staying power.

People cannot get lost twice, example Heb6 4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

Wasn’t justification in the OT the same as it is today? Abraham (Abram) believed God’s promise of the coming Messiah and it was credited to Him for righteousness. Abraham and all the saints before the cross looked forward. We look back. The blood of lambs, bulls, and goats can never take away sin. The blood of lambs, bulls, and goats was just a “covering” for sin, and a picture of the coming Perfect Lamb. I believe if a person obeyed the true Gospel, eternal life is inherent in the Gospel. You have a place in heaven reserved for you. You are not your own because you were bought with a price. God keeps us, not because we serve or bear fruit, but simply because He promised to keep us. Many are intertwining salvation with service. We serve Him out of gratitude and love. But we still sin every day in thought, word, and deed. I may miss many opportunities to serve Him, or even fall into false doctrine or unbelief for whatever reason. Maybe the loss of a loved one brings so much grief that a person turns away from God. The devil is crafty! There are consequences for all of that. God loves His children and will chasten us, even to the point of calling someone home early, especially if that person is a bad witness because of sin. But God made salvation based on trust in Jesus’s finished work, not our service. He wants us to serve Him and bear fruit, but bearing fruit cannot be a condition for salvation, as that fruit bearing is dependent on us, and how well we walk in the Spirit. He gets all the glory, not us. I pray that all those who are frantically trying to keep themselves saved, truly do trust in Christ and not themselves so they can rest in Him and truly serve Him out of love, not out of fear of loss of salvation.
    🙏🏻❤️

God can’t lie-true. Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2. We certainly can. King Saul and Judas would certainly disagree with you as do I. Acts 1:25 says that by transgression Judas fell. What did he fall from? He must have fell from something that he possessed. Everywhere and every time Jesus spoke to people who were unsaved, he said if you don’t receive me you will die in your sins. If Acts 1:25 said that about Judas, then I would believe you. The original apostleship ministry conferred salvation and eternal life upon the twelve. Judas was one of the twelve. Acts 1:17, not 1 John 2:19 which really doesn’t apply here. I would like to know where you stand on Hebrews 6? Are these unsaved followers of Judaism, or are these true Hebrew Christians? Your answer will give true insight into your position on eternal security.

Here we go again, Neither Saul or Judas was saved.
Judas was not an Apostle he was a disciple, name the scripture that says he was.
The Bible clearly indicates that Judas was not saved. Jesus Himself said of Judas, “The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born” (Matthew 26:24). Here is a clear picture of the sovereignty of God and the will of man working together. God had, from ages past, determined that Christ would be betrayed by Judas, die on the cross for our sins, and be resurrected. This is what Jesus meant when He said He would “go just as it is written about him.” Nothing would stop the plan of God to provide salvation for mankind.

How can you have the Spirit of the Father in you, preach the gospel, perform many healings, cast out demons, and still be unsaved is way beyond me. Spirit of the Father, Spirit of Jesus, and Holy Spirit are all one and the same. It says Father because Jesus had not yet gone to the cross, resurrected, and poured out the Holy Spirit. Matt.10:1-20 Mark3:20-27, 6:7-13, Luke 9:1-6. Judas did not turn on Christ until the close of His public ministry. Psalm 41:9 says that Jesus referred to Judas as a familiar friend in whom He trusted. He would have never, ever, ever, sent an unsaved man out on a missionary journey. Apostle - One sent forth on a mission, which to me would describe all twelve.

Please let’s not mix salvation with service. Eternal security is promised for every true believer. Period. We serve because we are saved, not to keep ourselves saved. I’m not sure why people are attributing human actions to God. He declares you righteous the moment you trust in Jesus alone. Being a disciple is different. Salvation is a free gift. Discipleship is costly. Salvation cannot be earned. Why are so many putting service as a requirement for proving salvation, or keeping salvation? 24:33 Having to prove, or earn salvation makes it a false gospel. This false gospel of works is a heresy. Putting work anywhere into salvation makes it dependent on us. This is not so! Read Romans and Galatians! ❤ God bless!

You cannot believe in eternal security and then turn around and say it is not eternal.
Jesus said that Judas Iscariot was not “clean”; i.e., he had not been born again and was not forgiven of his sins (John 13:10-11). In fact, Judas was empowered to do what he did by the devil himself: “As soon as Judas took the bread [that Jesus had given him], Satan entered into him” (John 13:27).
His story is also a great reminder that appearances can be deceiving. Jesus taught, “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” (Matthew 7:22-23).

@@RenardGarzaro You would think the phrase Spirit of the Father, capital “S”, would end the discussion, but apparently not. Let me give you another passage of Scripture which I believe serves as a checkmate against “absolute” eternal security. (Hebrews 6:1-8) Were these people unsaved followers of Judaism, or were they true Hebrew Christians? Answer - True Hebrew Christians. In verse 4 the words enlightened, (Photizo, from which we get the word Photography), tasted (Geuo or Geuomai), and partakers, (Metochos), all connote a salvational relationship. Bear with me on this. Cross reference Hebrews 6:4 with Hebrews 2:9 and drill down on the word taste. In the natural sense it means to taste the coffee and pastries after Sunday morning service. In the spiritual sense, it means to experience or receive.
Those who believe these individuals were unsaved will say they came short of experiencing salvation or they only gave the appearance of being saved outwardly, but inwardly never made a full-fledged commitment to follow Christ. They sipped and sampled the faith, but found it wasn’t for them and therefore walked away. Take that same logic, apply it to Hebrews 2:9, and what you have is a major heresy. I believe you’ll see it immediately. Also, the phrase impossible to renew them again to repentance, could only be speaking to Christians, since an unsaved person has never repented at all in his or her life. A brief summary of this passage would be as follows. These young, spiritually immature Christians, were being encouraged to move onward to a more deeper and fuller relationship with Christ. However, because of severe threats and persecution they were facing, had either gone back to, or were contemplating going back to worshipping under the Jewish Law and the OT sacrifices. If they did so, they would be crucifying Christ again and putting Him to an open shame. Leaving the faith would be tantamount to ending your eternal security in Jesus. Don’t do it, the author is instructing them, because there are serious consequences involved.
With respect to John 13, everything you say is correct. My only point is this is coming towards the close of Christ’s public ministry when Satan entered into the heart of Judas. Verse 2 Please respond if you wish, and then I might respond one more time. We’ll have to wrap this discussion up pretty soon, as I believe we’ve pretty much exhausted the major talking points on this subject.

Corey off the back you use terminology that is not consistent with the word of God. You do not receive salvation until Christ returns and brings it. Salvation basically means free of sin and we do not attain that status until we get toHeaven. We are redeemed from sin and we continue to sin although it should NOT be done WILLFULLY, but accidentally. Then we grow through the processes of Santification to become like Christ. That is why the Holy Scripture say our salvation is nearer than when we FIRST BELIEVE and we should work out our salvation with fear and trembling.

Speaking of saying things not in the scripture, where did you read salvation means free from sin especially no human being is free from sin, are you saying you have never sinned since you were saved? Didn't 1 John say if we say we have now sin we are lier and the truth is not in us?
Jesus said now you have eternal life.
John 3:36 says, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life.” Note that the believer “has” (present tense) this life (the verb is present tense in the Greek, too). We find similar present-tense constructions in John 5:24 and John 6:47. The focus of eternal life is not on our future, but on our current standing in Christ.

Saved by grace means nothing you do saves you, we don't have faith because of man's intuition (ability to think and make a good decision), we have faith because God opened our eyes and ears condition our heart so that we can believe and except the gospel.
