      I think what you should have also explained is: how the block 2's row is related to block 1's row. Are they an inner join? or left join ? etc.

    How do you group columns in a joined report? I’m trying to figure out how to create different groupings for the different blocks. Specifically I want to group one block by closed date and the other block by open date. Is that possible?

    Unfortunately this video never shows the other block, how to find common fields to link the blocks or why you would want to do this. It's padded out with basic report info.
