Hi Guys !!, Very impressive with the new Traverse, thanks Zack you look like a king on the back, like the content. Thank You and have a great day and enjoy your stay.
Looks to be truly competitive with other 3-row SUVs like the Palisade, Telluride, Grand Highlander, Pilot, etc. Price point is huge. They’ve done a nice job.
I went yesterday to test drive the new Traverse with the Z 71 package cloth seats, super cruise and the panoramic sunroof. I love the truck, but there were a couple of issues. When we folded down the manual third row with the headrest would not fold in. With the third row folded flat, we could not bring the captains chairs all the way back because of the headrest. The dealer couldn’t even figure it out. On top of that when we put the rear AC on, the compressor or fan in the back right of the vehicle was so loud it was extremely annoying, especially since the car is so quiet inside without the radio on. Not sure if you get a second chance to see the vehicle, but when you get into the backseat and turn on the rear AC controls, listen to the fan and the right rear of the vehicle. Other than that, we found the traverse , very easy drive and very responsive. They definitely priced it right as well. My pic would be the Z 71 with the super cruise and the upgraded seats. Around US$52,000.
Well I hope it’s reliable 🤞🏼I’ve driven 2 new Impala’s for the last 20 years with very little problems so we do like our Chevrolets but they were v6’s. Only time will see.

Great looking vehicle, but offering only 4-cylinder engines is a disappointing sign of the times. Sure, technology has advanced, but in every one of these new 4-cyl engines I've test driven in factory standard mode, there's a significant delay from pedal to acceleration. Safety isn't just about lane warnings and air bags...it's having enough power available in a split-second to avoid trouble on the roads. Great look and features, but the engine is the heart of every vehicle.

@Chevrolet you NEED to offer the bench as an OPTION on the RS/Z71. If I have 3 family members visit us in FL and I have a Z71 I can't take everyone in one vehicle. Offering just captain chairs makes zero sense.
I do find it odd that the RS trim traverse gives you Super Cruise standard, but the upcoming GMC Acadia, Super Cruise is only an option on the Denali trim. Feels like it should be the other way around
@@talkischeapc9 you’re missing my point. The GMC Acadia is the upscale version of the Traverse and on top trim to top trim they are almost identical in price and I think it’s weird that GMC wants to charge an extra $3500 for super cruise when Chevy gives it to you for free.
Had so much problems with 2018 traverse from day 30 it’s laughable, not kidding don’t buy any past used traverse, seriously you think you bought a deal there is reason for that, whatever you think you saved by buying traverse you’ll spend double on repairs. So, I’m kind of skeptical about the new traverse but, on the flip side I ended up with awesome 4Runner. Traverse can traverse itself to an oblivion !
I bought a used 2018 LT Traverse with 26k. Over 100k later only had an issue with USB port and Shift to Park issue. (Covered by warranty) Besides that its been solid. Sorry you had so many issues with yours.
I test drove the 2024 and it is just so nice of a vehicle all around. But asked my bro about the one he had like 5 years ago…he loved it but it had tranny issues which seems to be the common thing. I would only do this vehicle new or certified pre-owned with a warranty and ditch after warranty. Maybe a great lease vehicle.
My brother is on his 3rd traverse no issues. However, all have been leases so he gets them brand spanking new, and knowing how he drives, he takes real good care of them and that works. I’m downgrading from a Lexus to save money considering the RS, and Chevy is top 5 in reliability with Toyota and Lexus as well, so I’m in it for that. But I can’t front I’m scared shitless 😂😂
Probubly because you bought a 1st year model of a redesign. The 2018 was the first year of the 2nd generation Traverse like the 2024 is the first year of the 3rd generation Traverse. The first model year of a new generation is typically more likely to have problems.
Chevy and GM are not very reliable w/new models. I’d wait a year or two to see how this new transmission and overall reliability work out. However I think it looks a lot like the Toyota Grand Highlander, and that’s a good thing
Its probably just me and quite minor...but its good that they change the color of the chevy emblem ...for some reason i dont like the gold or yellow logo- feels old.
Driveline will be the question of whether it is a great vehicle or not, time will tell, I would go with Toyota for the great track record and reliability and resell.
you need to address the greed factor these auto companies are starting to embrace with their "pay-to-play" features. I have been a loyal GM customer for over 30 years. I, for one, will be looking for an alternative to GM next time because I am not interested in a monthly bill in order to use the features of the vehicle I already paid for. It may prove impossible to purchase a new auto without, in which case, I will be actively searching the used market for a suitable older vehicle and i will happily do whatever I need to maintain it. The thought of purchasing a $60,000 auto and then having to pay a fee to use it's installed options is just one step too far in my book and I am certain there are many who agree with me. Not that the auto makers will care....
a turbo makes sense in the Equinox, a turbo makes no sense in the Traverse. GM and their turbo engines, there was nothing wrong with that V6. they could've upped the torque from 268 and bump it up to 280, bam problem solved. no let's get rid of old faithful, to a risky wild child. these companies are getting ridiculous, first Toyota, now GM, can't believe Hyundai/Kia, Nissan, and Honda still offer a V6 in the Pilot, Pathfinder, Palisade, and Telluride. the main reason Chevy Traverses were selling so well, it's because it offered the most interior space and 3rd row, and a tried and true V6.
What is the deal with the car industry. In my experience any American 4 cylinder engine has problems sooner than later. Why would GM take out the V6 in the second largest SUV besides the Tahoe?
I am Korean. Thank you for the review I have some questions. 1. Does the RS trim have a HUD function? 2. Is it possible to go forward and backward with the vehicle remote control from the outside when parking?
Nice video guys, something weird on the fuel efficiency as usually 2WD vs AWD doesn’t decrease fuel efficiency that much. That’s a big difference on the highway MPG. Are those numbers accurate?? as maybe the Z71 due to off road capability is 19 city and 24 highway. I’m thinking the RS AWD should be 19 city and 26 highway
No switches or buttons for headlights, auto high beam, heated/ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, A/C recirculate, A/C heat mode, and more! You have to go into the screen menus to operate all that and more. What was Chevy thinking…oh yeah, save $$!
I’m convinced folks like you are looking for anything to complain about. Nobody will have an issue with pushing a few digital buttons on a display this large and clear. Headlights including high beams are *automatic.* Heated steering wheel has a physical button on the steering wheel. Please STFU.

@@talkischeapc9 you’re missing my point. The GMC Acadia is the upscale version of the Traverse and on top trim to top trim they are almost identical in price and I think it’s weird that GMC wants to charge an extra $3500 for super cruise when Chevy gives it to you for free.
@@DeadAir21 tbh the GMC brand used to be upscaled versions. Now they are just designed for an older generation.
Agreed. Denali is the top of the line in the GMC/Chevy lineup so should come standard with everything.
Is the turbo water cooled
Can't believe there no head restraint for the middle seat in the 2nd row...😢
Why are most dealers are going to turbo charged engines? Uses more fuel. Got to say Traverse RS is a very nice looking vehicle. Burn that fuel.
I’m not happy about the 4clT vs a 6clT but also noticed it’s a 2.5L so at least it’s not a 2.0 like what you would find in an atlas
Had a 4 cylinder, turbo Silverado and it was really good, no problems at all for the 4 years I had it.
Have a 2020 with 65k. No issues rides great.
Damn that z71 need the bench!!!
No fog lights?
Chevy and GM are not very reliable w/new models. I’d wait a year or two to see how this new transmission and overall reliability work out. However I think it looks a lot like the Toyota Grand Highlander, and that’s a good thing
Blom masuk indonesia chevrolet traverse terbaru
Did Chevy put the audio controls on the front side of the steering wheel?
They are on the back
Its probably just me and quite minor...but its good that they change the color of the chevy emblem ...for some reason i dont like the gold or yellow logo- feels old.
Reliability remains to be seen!!!Because GM has developed a reputation for putting out garbage and worrying about the consequences later.
Driveline will be the question of whether it is a great vehicle or not, time will tell, I would go with Toyota for the great track record and reliability and resell.
6 speakers? Tesla 3 has 17 for less $.
Damn really🤔🤔👀
you need to address the greed factor these auto companies are starting to embrace with their "pay-to-play" features.
WTH are you going on about? They mentioned nothing about subscription services you have to pay for.
@@ab348 He is talking about GM's self-driving features. Those will expire after a while and require monthly subscription.
a turbo makes sense in the Equinox, a turbo makes no sense in the Traverse.
GM and their turbo engines, there was nothing wrong with that V6. they could've
upped the torque from 268 and bump it up to 280, bam problem solved.
no let's get rid of old faithful, to a risky wild child. these companies are getting
ridiculous, first Toyota, now GM, can't believe Hyundai/Kia, Nissan,
and Honda still offer a V6 in the Pilot, Pathfinder, Palisade, and Telluride.
the main reason Chevy Traverses were selling so well, it's because it offered
the most interior space and 3rd row, and a tried and true V6.
3.6 lots of power. Why such small new motor?
I assume GM hasn't yet removed Apple Car Play per GM's earlier announcement?
EV only
What is the deal with the car industry. In my experience any American 4 cylinder engine has problems sooner than later. Why would GM take out the V6 in the second largest SUV besides the Tahoe?
Regular or premium fuel? Not a fan of the red dash. Everything else looks good.
Regular fuel
A charcoal color I think would look better. Just my opinion.
I am Korean.
Thank you for the review
I have some questions.
1. Does the RS trim have a HUD function?
2. Is it possible to go forward and backward with the vehicle remote control from the outside when parking?
I still like my 2024 Buick Avenir with the V6.
ZED FTW
Nice video guys, something weird on the fuel efficiency as usually 2WD vs AWD doesn’t decrease fuel efficiency that much. That’s a big difference on the highway MPG. Are those numbers accurate?? as maybe the Z71 due to off road capability is 19 city and 24 highway. I’m thinking the RS AWD should be 19 city and 26 highway
Should be fun to replaces once the clutch goes
No switches or buttons for headlights, auto high beam, heated/ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, A/C recirculate, A/C heat mode, and more!
You have to go into the screen menus to operate all that and more. What was Chevy thinking…oh yeah, save $$!
I’m convinced folks like you are looking for anything to complain about. Nobody will have an issue with pushing a few digital buttons on a display this large and clear. Headlights including high beams are *automatic.* Heated steering wheel has a physical button on the steering wheel. Please STFU.
Did you even watch the video ? Cause you clearly didn’t !
