Its weird to say, Andrew really CAN play love in movies. HE was a really good spiderman, unbelievable nerdy Peter Parker and pretty good friend who was betrayed, this movie really showed his aspects of love and effort.
the "really good spiderman" is very subjective. He had a better balance of things because the stories of imbalance were handled by Toby Mcguire's Spiderman He also was never the "nerd" peter is supposed to be portrayed as. being smart is not the same as being a nerd. there's strength of his portrayal, but you only brought up the 2 incorrect options
He has one of the best/truest to form Southern Accents of any actor I've ever seen. They both do. Even the inflections and emphasis placements are right.
It was really easy to pick up girls like that back in the day, it's an impossible task nowadays. You gotta have good genetics, good physique, good money and a good following.
That's how I felt about this girl. It was covid and I met her in taekwondo, I saw her witha new red belt and I thought she looked pretty cool. We went to the back for water break, and I tried to get my water bottle but we kinda went back and forth, not able to go through. I saw her smile and the second I saw that, I forgot about every single crush I ever had, all those fake crushes, and knew she was the one. I was a super shy boy, not even able to say hi to girls, but I was dedicated to talk to this girl. I started working out, eating healthy, fixing my mindset and 10 months later I talked to her. I said "Congratulations on your black belt." And she was like "Thank you!" And that's it. My ignorant self thought that was all I had to do, and I never pushed things forward. A couple months later in March if 2022 she says that I did a good job in class, I was thinking of saying the exact same thing to her, but the words couldn't come out. We said bye, she was like "See you!" In a super caring way, I felt that this girl actually cared about me, unlike the others. But then she left the studio. I thought it was temporary, but it was permanent. So it's the next year in grade 11 and I now like her friend. Throughout the whole school year I never talk to her friend, because I'm so damaged for failing to make things work with the girl I loved. Grade 11 ends and her friend leaves the studio. Grade 12 comes and I'm in a new school. At that new school I see the girl I met back at taekwondo, my girl. I was not gonna make the same mistake, i was finna talk to her and I had the whole school year to do so. I had prayed to God back in March of grade 11 for just one more chance with this girl, I was not gonna mess it up. But I make the same mistake, waiting for the PERFECT moment. It eventually gets so bad, that I seek out therapy. Finally in the last week of grade 12, I talk to her. I say "Hey are you (her name)?" She nods I'm like "I remember we used to do taekwondo together." She's like "Oh yeah." I'm like "Do you remember me?" She's like "Give me a name." I said my name And she's thinks for a moment, then she is like "Oh yeah." I ask her how she's been and she said good and then she had to get to Physics I respect her time and let her go, I said "I'll see you around." I talk to her again on Thrusday that week at this student vs teacher dodgeball game, but it's too loud to really have a conversation. The following Monday which is the last day of school, I see her on a bench and sit next to her and talk to her. I can't even really pay attention to what she is saying, because I am just flattered that I'm finally sitting down one and one and talking to this girl. It was kind of awkward but it was fine. I compliment her hair and ask her out for ice cream, she says she has exams, I tell her there is no rush and we can always go after exams, she agrees to give me her number. And I am so happy, the girl from taekwondo gave me her number and we might be going out! My grade 9 self would be so proud of me. I text her a couple times but she doesn't respond, it turns out that she was just busy studying and didn't have her phone with her. We finally arrange a date to meet up, but the evening before she says that she is really sorry, but she can't be going out with anyone now, because she is not ready for that sorta thing. She apologizes for not telling me sooner, and says she struggles to say no to people. She says she was "flattered" that I asked her out though. I then called her and explained how I felt a little bit, but I'm not sure if I really did. She explained that relationships mean being vulnerable and she is not good at being vulnerable, she says. She says "I think you're a nice guy" but she's not ready and that it's her not me. I ask her how she sees things moving forward. She is a grade younger than me. So she explained that things couldn't really go forward as she would be in school and I would be somewhere else. I respected her choice and we agreed to keep contact. And man I am heartbroken. All these years, all these prayers, all these push ups, these runs, this putting myself out there, all for her and she just says no. This whole time i thought she was the one, I thought we were gonna have amazing chemistry and we were gonna go out and eventually get married, but nope. It was all just in my head. I believe that if I talked to her back in September, she would have more time to get to know me and I would be less awkward because I wouldn't have such shane for waiting the whole year to talk to her. It would only be natrual to go out and even though she ain't into dating, she would trust me to go out. And I would make her feel comfortable and she may feel more comfortable being vulnerable and who knows? We have even been in a relationship right now. All because I waited too long. I am so disappointed. If you wanna talk to her, talk to her now or never.
I love his personality he’s doesn’t pay attention to his father’s rude personality he knows what he deserves and goes gets it that’s the greatest thing
He was born in the US but came to Britain when he was a child. The actors playing ma and pa are Aussies! So Aussies and Brits are pretty good at accents. Director of the film is Mel Gibson, born in the US but grew up in Australia..
The accent he does covers his teeth to make the southern drawl sound you hear. The whispy-ness in his voice is because of him covering his teeth, sometimes to do an accent you gotta change your face it’s weird but it works
For anyone wondering what movie this is, it’s called Hacksaw ridge. It’s actually extremely gruesome so I wouldn’t recommend for people who get upset easily. It’s Rated R for violence (it is a war movie) but overall it was pretty good. I looooooove Andrew so that was a plus. ❤
