- Want to know what garden centre sells good palm trees and exotic looking plants? Large tree ferns for sale, Trachycarpus Fortunei, Cordyline Australis, Phormiums, Fatsia Japonica Spiders Web and Camouflage
Looks pricey, but impressive selection of plants 😊
Yeah it’s not the cheapest but the plants are good quality and well looked after. However, I walked away with nothing as nothing seemed like a great buy to me

Wow the price of those Trachys, shows you how much mark up they make, no doubt same suppliers that supply B&M who still make a profit selling them at £150
I know! I’m not sure how much B&M make on their £150 trachys but whatever they do make takes them about a day to make whereas at Barton grange they might take years to sell

I suspect the primary supplier of Barton Grange GC is GCP (Garden Centre Plants), a wholesaler located about 10 mins from the garden centre. I know this because I also use GCP as a supplier to buy certain plants for the garden centre I manage.
The white labels attached to the specimens are from the nursery, not the garden centre. I instruct my staff to rip them off as soon as the plants arrive as they tend to confuse customers :D
I doubt they supply B&M but could be wrong, all of the specimens will be Italian imports anyway. But agree the markup is excessive, almost as bad as Bents.
