LYRA 2024 8mR Aluette is fast

Light air after the delay is tough- can't get to where conditions look better, in time. Note no one wanted to barge in light air, so everyone set up pretty early building speed on a beat to the line.
Jerry really works the speed of the boat, well, in truth, a significant part of our starting system is to not start to weather of Ralph because he comes up better than anyone and takes your line with devastating results.
We're getting back to building speed going into the start line, and that seemed to be the difference- we got away from Ralph- lucky us, as we recall him speedily roll us a few races ago at the start.
Looks like two boats had the same idea as our pin start- but you've got to come up under someone or they are gonna roll you instead.
Get those you Love out on the water, burning energy with uprighting actions not on land. Fresh air! Be healthy and inspire others to do so!
