I always look forward to your decorating. Everything looks cozy and warm. While I love the look of the entire room I believe the mantle is my favorite. I love the simplicity of the tree and would leave it with just the bows.

Everything looks beautiful as usual. And cozy! When my husband was alive, we always had four trees: one large family tree, a white Barbie ornament tree with pink lights, my husband had a Star Trek tree in his office, and my daughter always had some hot topic themed tree in her room. Now it’s just me and I have a slim Christmas tree in my living room. I have such wonderful memories of all my trees with family.
I like many of the advent hymns we sing in church, but my favorite Christmas music is white Christmas with Bing Crosby and the Muppet family Christmas OST

its beautiful Rebekah .i love the traditional colors green, red ,an white. it all ways reminds me of being a kid when mom would have the living room decorated before my brother and i got home from school.we would be so excited .i would lay on that old wood floor and stair up at that tree.some times falling asleep and daddy carrying me to bed.thanks for the memories your home gave me tonight.mom and dad would teach us Christmas songs my fav, away in the manger.jingle bells ,and you know it Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

Hi sweet Rebekah, your living room is my favorite!! The mantle turned out beautiful! The shelves, OH MY what can I say...they are absolutely beautiful! The angel candle holders are my favorite out of the decor this year. My mama always got angels for me so they are still very much a favorite of mine since she passed away. Sweetie this is the way I look and feel about the tree...if you just like the bows( which I do) then you should leave it like it is. There was one year I put nothing on our tree but bows and champagne poinsettias on our tree. It was beautiful, but I think it's beautiful. I laughed at sweet Holstein when you put the throw on the sofa...he could've wait. He said let me test it out to see how cozy it is.😊 He 's just to sweet. Rebekah there's so many Christmas songs/carols that i love...Silent Night, Joy to the World, The Little Drummer Boy has always been a favorite of mine. Silver Bells I love the all. The brass "basket" for the wood is such a find. It is perfect beside your tree. Also the sleigh you thrifted is adorable. How fun to find treasures like that for an amazing price. Your tree is beautiful!! Those trees are really good quality. I do love how you put just the bows on it because it let's everything else shine But adding ornaments could look so wonderful also. Maybe you give it a little time and see how you feel about it in a week or two. Don't forget, this can be a time to go all out, so do what will make you happy. Love all the traditional colors. You always do up your mantel so beautifully. I understand how it can be a challenge to decorate your shelves but you do a great job!! I have started to take out some of my decor but not all of it, just due to not having a lot of time but when I first start decorating, I can find it overwhelming because I am not sure what I want to put where and whether I will keep certain spaces the same as the year before or change it up. You asked about some favorite songs. I put up four trees this year. Two slim trees on each side of my dinning room walls. One in my sitting room flocked and one in my family room. These trees are all 7.5, I also put out three smaller trees one in a basket and two in pots on each side of my fire place. ❤❤❤ Christmas and decorating my home. Our first Christmas tree we had no ornaments or money to buy them and so I bought some fabric and sewed red bows to decorate it, So for me, it is simply beautiful just as it is!🥰The Mantle and Mirror are just breathtaking especially with the gold sign in the center...love! You created such a cozy Christmas spot by the fire to visit with family and friends or read or even work! Beautiful!

I do two big trees - a Chrismon tree in my living room and a family/memory tree in my den. Then there are many small trees throughout the house but they aren't decorated trees like the two big ones. I used to do five big decorated trees but, as my husband and I have gotten older, we've cut back. I still do a lot compared to some. Your tree is lovely.

I have 3 mini Christmas tree outside. 1 medium size tree in my boys room, 1 pink baby tree in my daughter room along will a tall flock tree, 1 tall flock tree in my entryway, 1 tall pencil tree in my master bedroom and 2 large tree in my living room all im missing is a Christmas tree in my kitchen but dont have the space unless i got a pencil tree. And if i had space in my boys bathroom i would have a tree in there as well 😂😂. I am Christmas obsessed 😂😂

Hi Rebekah and Holstein, I see that beautiful and glitzy red sweater you showed on your haul and you look fantastic! My favorite Christmas song is "Mary, Did You Know?". I also like "Little Drummer Boy". I have 12 trees from 4' to 7-1/2' tall. I guess you could say I have a forest! I also have several smaller trees that I don't count as they are just part of the shelf decor. I have not started to decorate for Christmas yet as I have a few pumpkins and turkeys up for our American Thanksgiving next week. I usually decorate the day after Thanksgiving. My decor is traditional red and green except 1 tree I call my Victorian tree which has the colors of that era, soft pinkish mauve and light blue. The ornaments also reflect a vintage time from long ago. None expensive but valuable to me. I love the architecture and decor of that era. Can't wait until your next room is decorated. This was so much fun to watch . I ordered a King of Christmas tree for the first time. I have bought 3 Balsam Hill trees , but the type of three that l wanted was so much cheaper on KOC . I love that KOC comes with a remote and different settings . I usually do one large tree and one 3 ft tree . I really love looking at my tree, but l can’t stand setting it up and decorating it .

So pretty! Warm and cozy. Fresh Balsam candle is also my favorite. Rebekah, I watch an interior designer decorate for Christmas and she suggested put paper or plastic bags or something in the hanging stockings. It would give it more depth and not just hanging flat against the mantel. I haven't tried it yet but it did make a differents when she showed before & after. Be Blessed my friend. 🎄❤

Leave it as is❤we have 4 trees inside our house for Christmas and we decorate the garden 's trees as well. All dogs cherish patting their bellies❤ours too...I like vintage Christmas decoration but in Europe Greece where we start decorating after Halloween, almost everybody has bought flocked trees and glams them up. This is the trend nowadays.
your bookshelves looks again very beautiful! The whole room feels so cozy and elegant. My biggest struggle now is the dining room table since it's small so it needs to be practical to move things away as we eat every night on it.

Rebekah I love the traditional look you’re going for. I’m not much for neutral color especially at Christmas. I think Christmas should merry and bright and you have captured it in this year’s decorating.
