I guess you never thought that you would have an audience for quiet videos, well you do, some of us like to watch and listen to nature not somebody talking, I do appreciate you making this video and I have said it before you're one of the few that take good video about nature and I love that the sounds the snow the rain everything the words everything I love about these videos of this quiet place channel, thank you
I am really appreciating your silent adventures. As you hike along the trails I look for landmarks that may be familiar to me. While living in Richmond, Virginia, I hiked many trails of the AT and others in both Virginia and North Carolina, both incredibly beautiful states. I hope one day you'll (with Susie) hike along your gorgeous coastline. I've been here on the West Coast now since September 2021 and as I watch your adventures, waves of nostalgia take me back there. I would love to live near I-40 (Asheville?) and be able to drive East to West when the urge hits me. Of all the east-west freeways, I-40 seems to offer much more to the van lifer. Stay safe and well in the new year.
Love forgotten trails. I look for them often. Out west,...a few years and many of them disappear. Deer trails can be spotted if one is looking but they're not always meant for us travel on. Another good one. Cheers.
WONDERFUL. Just a wonderful adventure what with the barred owl and the coyotes. You are such a strong hiker. THANK YOU. One of my favorite outdoor adventures.
Thank u Luke for the Quiet Place Videos - they bring back fond memories of my youth while hiking and hunting in my state - Arkansas - and to those who don't like these videos - their not hikers and don't like Nature in its purest form QUIET
Really enjoyed this adventure. Nice rugged terrain with incredible views of hills that required toughness and determination. Nice weather and some night time coyotees howling in the background. Priceless! Thanks Luke😊
Look out Master Luke. You know if it freezes here in New Orleans tonight and tomorrow, that you gonna get it even harder. We don’t get to many cold weathers, but this year has been a good year for us getting it . Can’t wait to see you on a couple nights on a good cold weather hike/camp. Be safe my friend and thank you
Another great video. I wonder why he dropped his pack seemingly a fair distance away from where he setup the tent? I'm sure there was a good reason. I love these adventures.
Oh and by the way those coyotes sounds oh my gosh it was nice to hear that I wish I and I'm glad that I wasn't there but thank you for sharing that that was amazing that's what nature is all about about
Luke, I was just impressed that you did not get lost. Me? I might have gotten lost in all that wild area. You must know this place very well even without a trail, but then I know you had a map, and you obviously had a compass too. I would take those things with me too. I do not have the abundance of backpacking and hiking that you do though. So for me, I would have to be a lot more careful and stick to marked trails if I were to do anything like this--right now, I am still trying to rehab with my four wheeled walker, and getting stronger as I write this. My MD is happy with my progress. i am hoping in the future I can go hiking with some of my friends from church who are even older than I am--in their 70's and hike! I a mere 61. I am paying attention to the gear you review, and relaxing to these Quiet Adventures videos and biding my time. Cheers to you AND Susie Too. Blessings from Gresham Oregon, Michelle Reed
I’m just curious as to how many more miles & time is added to videos with you staging (lack of better word) the shots of you walking away/towards, etc…. It appears it would add a lot. All your hard work is very appreciated. Thank you for your dedication.
Hey there. I am a advid fan of bushcraft im a disabled Airforce veteran on a powerchair. So i live through your experiences. I am in a survival situation 71 years old Well you know the devil dont care who he picks on. .My house has been devastated by thieves. The floor Jack's and the structural Damages fell on my plumbing. For at least 2 yrs through bushcraft ive been learning survival. I was on my porch last year everything froze but me. Im in the house now with just lights no gas pipes ok i use propane heaters ,candles alchol stoves and burners. I once thought that MYLAR EMERGENCY BLANKETS wasn't a life saver. Especially it being used alone in a real cold situation. But now i have found a use for it. I have a tent attached to my bed. Well this Polar Vortex has presented a problem for me no matter if i got this one room covered at the doors and windows cold blows through . Even my tent is getting cold. I have a sleeping bag sweater i crocheted and fur blanket i created. ,then i have a military down sleeping bag my feet was still getting cold. So i got that MYLAR EMERGENCY BLANKET and covered the door from the inside. You see no wind is suppose to come in the tent right this Polar Vortex is invading ok. So i opened one up and covered all my covers and me like sheet over me. Lord the warmth and protection it provides. Did you know that. I dont see you using one in your tent in real bad weather. All i see you using is tarps to block wind. Maybe yiu can stand more cold weather than others. I hope yiu never get real cold you and your precious wife. That MYLAR EMERGENCY BLANKET may come in handy. Ok ❤
You didn't show us what you had for dinner, that is the only bad thing about the channel that I can say is that you don't spend enough time showing us stuff like you do it on your other channel, believe me it's not boring for some of us that love to see what you're eating and if it tastes good by you giving thumbs up what you drinking some of us do enjoy watching that, just to let you know how much I love this channel, I criticized your other channel I don't like it, but I do love this channel, so if you can I do appreciate it if you show us a little bit more thank you!
You really trust those water filters filtering out of streams, rivers and lakes. I work for pharmaceutical company and the filters we use our very expensive so how many uses can you get out of one filter to be safe?
I live out in the country here in east Texas, where there is alot of wildlife and I always enjoy watching and listening whenever they make all the sounds that they do. So peaceful. I've always heard from old timers that if you see or hear owls in the daytime that they have young ones and that they are hunting food for them. Whether that's true or not I don't know. What about anybody else, have you ever heard that before?
My first time watching this type of video of yours. It was good, but I just prefer your “TOGR”, where you narrate your adventure. I would love to hear what you’re doing, thinking, seeing, etc. As opposed to just watching the motions. That is just my two cents worth. Again - this was very interesting and scenic and I will watch more, just not My favorite. Stay safe out there!
Seeing you blow up the air matress reminded me of when i was driving along and a police officer pulled me over and said " Would you mind blowing in to this bag for me sir ? "....i said " Officer - but i haven't been drinking ! "...he said " No sir but my chips are too hot ! " ....
And please don't mess up the video by adding music to it cuz we enjoy just the sound of everything else but the music I don't like the music but anyways it's your video thank you
I can see that you're trying to make plenty of noise for the ASMR crowd. What would these episodes sound like if you were out hunting and trying to be quiet. More nature sounds and less boot pounding? Let's try that, perhaps? You could talk softly when you take a break or need to explain something.
This was different. I've never watched one these adventures. Made me tired and worried. Such a long hike alone. How can you do it? It's crazy. But you're in shape. I'd hate to see you get injured or attacked. I need to hear your voice. I think I'll stick to your original videos. Strength and Honor to you Luke.....
Beautiful, everything about this.. Thank you for creating this
Listening to the owls 🦉 communicating is awesome.

You always pick the prettiest areas to camp! I love the scenery and sounds of nature and this video here is another Great One Luke!
For me, this was one of your best Quiet Place. Great shots or my mountains. You keep it simple with lots of hiking and camping
Love these. Solitude and beauty. Thank you!
Hi Luke,,back from Wales , dying in a hot bath ,,,,, 😅😅 great video,,,, Dave
Good afternoon from Syracuse NY Luke and thank you for sharing your adventures
Nice adventure. I love that area. Stay safe, God bless.
Love forgotten trails. I look for them often. Out west,...a few years and many of them disappear. Deer trails can be spotted if one is looking but they're not always meant for us travel on. Another good one. Cheers.
That was a beautiful shot with the sunset
WONDERFUL. Just a wonderful adventure what with the barred owl and the coyotes. You are such a strong hiker. THANK YOU. One of my favorite outdoor adventures.
Thanks Luke love your adventures, reminds me of mine in the past and future, for the love🥾🥾
Amazing camera work, repositioning your camera for all the shots. That's a lot of work, great video Luke.
Thank u Luke for the Quiet Place Videos - they bring back fond memories of my youth while hiking and hunting in my state - Arkansas - and to those who don't like these videos - their not hikers and don't like Nature in its purest form QUIET
Such a great video, relaxing to watch. Wonderful.
Luke, this is a testament to your skills, you looked a little annoyed but you kept your head, good job sir !
Thanks Luke I like both of your channels I just found this 1 outdoor gear review is another one of my favorites watching for years thanks👍💯

I watched the educational soundtrack version and came here to follow the adventure.
Enjoyed the video. Kept waiting for the commentary then I remembered I was on the wrong channel imagine that 😜.

I love to watch all your videos but I do like when you have stories and talking in them.

Lol, well, I bet nobody ever accused you of not speaking your mind.😂 respect 👍( This is a joke, by the way, and also not a joke).😏
Get on with it. Weve got it. Youre hiking. Get to the good stuff. Is there any good stuff? Almost dont want to wait and see.
You really trust those water filters filtering out of streams, rivers and lakes. I work for pharmaceutical company and the filters we use our very expensive so how many uses can you get out of one filter to be safe?
I have never seen you going over so many fallen trees.
Did you get a new camera? The shots are amazing.
Hi Luke! Was this path on a map? Just from a camera perspective, it is not very well cleared or even evident it is a path. Does it even have a name?
Have you ever tripped and fallen or got lost? I'm amazed you don't seem to do either? If so i would be interested in these stories.
This is the noise the coyotes make when you hear all them
Did you go back and get the tent you had to leave?
How do you find your way back to your Truck and not get lost ?
If I would go out there like u I would get lost couldn't find my way back
This looks like the trail you hurt your ankle on a couple years ago?
Was hoping you could go find abandoned cabins and camp there? Instead of the same old wolf mountain?

Coyotes are feeding on what they killed

I love your videos but I like it better when you talk
He talks plenty on his other channel.
First comment is love from India
And please don't mess up the video by adding music to it cuz we enjoy just the sound of everything else but the music I don't like the music but anyways it's your video thank you
Dude, you need a canoe. Then a sail boat.
Someone sent me an email teaching how to read maps backwards - it turned out to be spam !

I’m not sure I like these? Luke always tells cool stories or narrates what’s going on. I’m on the fence about this channel?
Kinda boring watching a man walking through the woods for 10 minutes
Lol how convenient a pile of sticks to start your fire awaiting you on an abandoned trail.
Qué flojera con este hombre
This sucks
I dislike because no voice. I hate video no voice. Not relaxing at all.
He talks Plenty on his other channel.
@@jacobravenwood7968 who you are ???? You not luke ?. And you violated him right to stole him video ?
@@adventuresbackroad2534 Sorry, I don't understand broken English. Better luck next time.😏

Luke want a hamburger steak with A sauce on it??? Do ya, huh, huh, huh? 😀 Did you finally learn how to read a map?????? 😲
Hey from the PNW!🌲 @xplrnw , stay safe out there, homeslice.
