I guess you didn’t see that, because if you had seen that you would realise your comment is moronic.

What about a chop tackle? Instead of trying to put his shoulder into Kikau's massive torso, why get his arms below Kikau's knees?
Alternatively, why get in front of Kikau and not try to tackle him from behind? Kikau was a good few metres from the try line, there was still room to tackle and swing around from behind. When I played I was 75kg and that was the only way I tackled guys that size.

I've been arguing this with my mate alot. What stops this is a shoulder on shoulder tackle. These days you're forcing head highs and hip drops because of someone runs at them, you gotta grab at them. Which leads to swinging arms or then getting pass you and you dropping to the ground as you hold on to lot let them pass, accidentally landing on legs. Shoulder to shoulder changes this.

Head knocks that cause players to stagger or worse are momentary concussions to the brain. Concussion is brain injury. Repeated brain injuries become permanent disabilities that evolve over time... Players have families... Players must usually live on for 30 or more years after they retire and the potential for sport related concussion injuries ceases. Rules are permissions. They either protect from, minimise or expose players to potentially avoidable injury... Get the rules, physical contact boundaries and techniques ultra clear and League has a chance of adapting... Otherwise failure to provide Duty of care will bury League in just a few short years...

Let me be clear right away. I'm not a fan of Teddy. There I said it. Now, I teach martial arts, i used to bounce in the valley and surfers. I enjoy most combat sports and I've seen uncountable knockouts and he was out cold. From this point, because of the way he froze, it's now more likely it'll happen again. I don't want him to leave the game as he played for Australia but it's a real concern for his brain health moving forward. The fans aren't the players. The board aren't the players. The rules are in place to protect against later life after the game brain function deterioration. Mohamed Ali is a worse case scenario and the reason these safety rules were started in the first place. Its only a game. Don't hate the players, protect them so we can enjoy the Game
