Mark you say you don't know what the conditions are before you get there but you can make an informed decision before you travel by looking at the environment agency website giving the river levels if you haven't looked previously it tells you the normal level for your stretch the flood level and the current level sorry if this is a bit suck eggs doesn't mean to be
