This is the first decent review I’ve seen on this size. I find it such an interesting bag. I don’t carry much in my casual lifestyle so I think this could be my ‘Goldilocks’ perfect size. The small seems pretty large still and I’ll just fill it with stuff I don’t need lol. Great to find an Australian reviewer too! Off to watch pt. 2. New subbie 👋🏻!
Thanks for your video -- very helpful! Can you comment more on your thoughts on the satin calfskin, and how it compares with other Loewe leathers? I'm thinking about getting an Amazona in satin calfskin, and would love your advice and thoughts! Also, from my understanding, the Goya bag is actually with silk calfskin, so I think this satin one is a new kind for this season!
Thank you for your comment. Generally, Loewe uses the classic calfskin which is small grained and very soft. It works well for puzzle bags because it creates the “dip” in the middle. However, if you want your bag to have more structure then satin and silk calfskin is the better choice. Well-loved hammocks in classic calfskin collapse over time. Also, classic calfskin bags have variations in grain size even if the bag is a single colour, so if you look at a puzzle bag closely you will see each side is different. If you want a uniform finish then go with satin and silk calfskin. I don’t own a Goya but from what I remember it does feel the same as satin calfskin.
Absolutely ❤ this handbag..can be worn three ways. I also purchased the Loewe wide strap & charm to change up the crossbody look🙌🏼so chic! Great review😊
This is smaller than the standard small sized hammock. The next size down is the mini, but the style is very different. So the current sizes go from mini < compact < nugget < small. Medium and large have been discontinued.

That phone can definitely fit snug inside both of the internal pockets. The outside pocket cannot fit anything.
