Probably my favorite gameboy game. I was convinced for the longest time that I couldn’t complete the rocket mission cause the rocket would always crash even when reaching the circles, I thought that if you’d precisely land in the center it would not crash. Only much later I realized that’s simply how it ended.
You had no other games or you didn't know any better. Anyway. I never played this one, but in comparison to the NES version which was at least a bona fide platformer this one's only saving grace seems to be the music. Somehow a typical Game Boy version.
Ofcourse I loved all the classic games on Game Boy but this was my very favorite game most people didn’t even know about The level where you’re jumping off a building from awning to awning is my favorite level This is the first time I’ve even seen this game in 30 years💯🎮💙🔥
LJN didn't make games.... they were only a publisher. Software Creations developed the NES & Gameboy versions. Gray matter developed the Amiga, SNES & Genesis versions. Teeny Weeny Games developed the Master System & Game Gear versions.
Something tells me that they used an early type of software to import the music and then add effects later. Maybe that's why it sounds kinda low quality? because I know that the Gameboy sound hardware is better than this. In fact, the Gameboy sound hardware is very similar to the 2A03, just no DPCM channel and a few other small things.
Ok, I can understand the logic in smashing through the sun blockers made off cloth. But through a freaking balcony? Are they serious? Even a crash dummy would break his/her fucking neck!! I don't know where they live. But by Us, a balcony is made either out of concrete or pure steel. Then mostly filled with concrete again... But those AIR fueled cars is something is wan't as well!
Literally playing this on the gameboy at my mom's is my earliest memory
Such a great soundtrack. All bangers.
Dam the intro song was great
I still remember when these guys were popular. It's amazing.
The music is great!
just finished watching the AVGN review of the nes version watching
A franchise that deserved a game once Burnout developed the crash mode style of gameplay
Loved this game as a kid! I'm still confident at all levels except for the rocket one. You make it look so smooth and easy! XD
Omg. I remember the intro music! Ahh takes me back lol
It's by Tim Follin

level 2 is a music variation from deep purple's highway star
Tim Follin has said his biggest influence was 70s and 80s rock music.
Don't you mean, 「HIGHWAYGOGO」
music is fire
I got this game in 1992. I never made it past level 2-5. Damn rocket.
OMG i remember this clash game
Absolute music BANGER!!! starts at 2:04. 🥹🤩🤤
i struggled at hard and very hard bomb deactivation levels, besides that the game was ok i guess, it got some nice tunes.
Jogo desafiador. Parabéns ao jogador.

Buster:the game
I totally forgot I had all the toys and this game as a kid
LJN actually did a great chiptunes soundtrack for this game.

The car stage reminds me of Highway Star by Deep Purple
I had this on the Game Gear, I didn't know there was a Gameboy port
I want dummy fäG
Sounds much better than the SMS/GG version.
Cruise missile game: Whirlybird, eat your heart out
You Could Learn A Lot From A Dummy; Buckle Your Safety Belt!
Wait so this is the only game of the 3 that you're supposed to crash in.
i could never beat the rocket part
I remembered playing this on my GBA 140 IN 1(which are a bunch of NES games), but the gameplay looked alot like a Sonic Spin-off
I fucking hated that rocket ship level so much
I had this, it sucked. I could never figure out how to play it as a kid 😅.
kind of better then NES
How would of though the gameboy game is better than the Nes one

Anyone could get a game...anyone.

It's only the bumper that's filled with air.
Yes indeed that is the only part that didn't make sense.
Incredibly Bland Licensed Game is more like it.
Mega Drive version was good.
Wow! That's a blast from the past. I remember buying this, playing it once or twice then never going near it again.
It was crap, let's be honest. 😉
No wonder I remember this game being trash. LJN
Could be the worst game ever made. Wow. Truly shocked at how shit this is. Even for gameboy.
There is worse.
