LeBron James eldest 9-year old son, Bronny James/LeBron James Jr. and his AAU team, the Miami City Ballers are competing in the 4th Grade Boys Division One National Basketball Championships this week in Lexington, KY. He led his AAU level basketball team to the fourth grade national championship.
LeBron James also paid a visit to his Bronny James AAU game in Lexington, and chats with Kentucky Wildcats coach John Calipari.
Back in 2016, the 11-year-old son of the Cleveland Cavaliers star, has “standing scholarship offers” from both Duke and Kentucky, according to ESPN.
● His father, LeBron James is 32 years old now, and he entered the NBA league back in 2003 with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he had been playing at the Quicken Loans Arena for almost 11 years now. Sports Illustrated put him on the cover the prior year as a high school junior with the claimed tagline: “The Chosen One.” Nike inked him to a seven-year, $90 million deal while he was still in high school. James has become the superstar icon in Cleveland itself, and the Cleveland Cavaliers has decided to place a new LeBron James banner outside of Quicken Loans Arena.
LeBron James has been one of the hottest names on the endorsement trail as well, locking up partnerships with Nike, Coca-Cola (Sprite), Beats By Dre, State Farm Insurance, Kia Motors, Intel, Progressive Insurance, Samsung, Verizon Wireless, McDonald's, Powerade, and Blaze Pizza.
James is on the Mount Rushmore of the most influential and popular active athletes on the planet. His 41 million Facebook followers is second behind only Cristiano Ronaldo among athletes. He sells more of his signature shoes for Nike than any other active athlete.
Back in 2016, LeBron James has reportedly donated an unprecedented $41 million to put 1,100 Ohio kids through college, which is part of his partnership with the University Of Akron, in which kids enrolled in his "I Promise" program will have the opportunity to receive a fully guaranteed four-year college scholarship. Through his "I Promise" program, students who are qualified will get a scholarship that will cover their entire college degree tuition and the general service fee from the university.
LeBron James' kids are all grown up now, and there are 3 of them LeBron James Jr. (13 years old ), Bryce Maximus James (10 years old ) and daughter Zhuri James (3 years old) as of 2018.
Look how lebron plays with his kid and shows pride . That's what it's all about . Showing your kids that you love them .
lebron takes soccer moms to a whole new level
Lol
+Nathan Boat haha!
***** OMG bruh he was joking don't take to seriously though
Kobe & GiGi
was closer to the soccer mom situation ..
Lebron is actually a vital part of the STRIVE for GREATNESS within NIKE EYBL ..
Shout out to Lebron for being at his sons game
Dave BRUH He is a great father figure.
Dave BRUH and shout out to Lebron for teaching him to respect the OTHER team's members after the game.
+Dave BRUH son sucks though
ethan sellevold I coach 9 year olds and half of them are better than this privileged kid
ethan sellevold Intercity youth. They are good now.. But without out fathers most of these kids are FUCKED.. I can see it already.. Behavior problems left and right. I cant fucking raise these kids, so yeah, Lebrons son will most likely beat my kids in the long run because he has a dad and money..
seeing LeBron all proud of his son just put a smile on my face
Let us just celebrate a parent that is sitting on the sidelines cheering and encouraging a nine year old. I have not read one positive comment noting how LeBron was celebrating and hugging his son; there was a time not long ago where fathers rarely communicated with their children. This is 2014 and there is a generation of children abandoned by their dads: can we please find the positive in something? ?!!!. This child can be a doctor or anything else his heart desires, but maybe he wants to play basketball like his father! I am not a LeBron James fan, but I applaud him for being present in his son's life!
children of nba stars never blossom into great players, but maybe he could if he gets LeBrons size and a good shooting coach.
I was gone say dell curry son blossomed into one. But you said stars lol
lyndell chambers I dunno man.. i think Tim Hardaway Jr might have the potential to be a star..
lyndell chambers I dunno man.. i think Tim Hardaway Jr might have the potential to be a star..
Kobe? Kevin Love, wes matthews
I agree for the most part. Stars don't usually have kids that blossom in the NBA. ^most of these players didn't have star parents in the league.
only exceptions I can think of at the moment are Klay Thompson, Tim Hardaway Jr., possibly Glenn Robinson Jr., Glen Rice Jr., maybe Phil Pressey,
He seems a like a good dad who's actually involved with his son's life.
gillettecrackers Yes, he is. LeBron really loves his kids.
he's a good dad c:
He's trying to be the dad he always wanted
I'd trade him for half of the sixers roster In a heartbeat
pretty good for his age
Nice to see his father there and cheering for his son. Good parenting.
Hes 9... hes 9... HES 9!! Some of these comments I just read have to be some of the most ignorant. Racial, prejudice, all kinds of stupid comments. Hes 9. Only God knows if he'll turn out to be even half of what his dad was. Its just a hobby for him. He got his whole life to decide.
I cant imagine the pressure he must feel, 0____________________0 i mean hes gonna be compared to his dad for as long as he plays basketball.
Ike that's the hard thing about being closely related to people good very very Good at something
same thing that happened with Marcus Jordan, but i think this time around LeBron James Jr will deliver.
Feel bad for this kid. No 9 year old should go through this much pressure and expectation
Personally if I was in his position. I'd love the pressure and expectations
+Air raza me too. you want to know people except big things from you
omg thanx god he has a lot of money to not giving a fuck at all
I see Lebron is teaching him flopping already, very nice
Gotta learn the basics early
Lol nice one
hater lol
..
Alex Beberman bro relax, dont get all defensive online with random strangers. go spend some time with your wife, raise a family.
0006kushal but your a fucking gamer with no life so shut the fuck up
HE'S BETTER THAN ME. Man if only I was introduced to basketball sooner
If only I had not been a lazy ass back when I was a kid. I'm 6' 9" now, fuuuuuuuuck...
George Costanza That's hilarious.
Same. I was introduced to basketball of June 2014. I sucked ass. But now, I've gotten better.
Seems like a good humble kid
LeBron James he is my favorite player
The Knicks could use this boy as their starting point guard
Lol nice one
+pika358 | Minecraft Pixelmon and HG go away
+pika358 | Minecraft Pixelmon and HG if I see u on another basketball video I'm telling your mom to take away you minecraft for two weeks lil nerd
no the Miami heat.
+Heath Boylstein You aren't lying lol
What if Lebron James Jr. 11 years from now was in the league as a rookie and Lebron is still in the league at 40?
Then the kid is gonna get dunked on lol
baahahahahaha that would be great actually...
It will happen! Or maybe Lebron might coach him.
Kinda like how Derek Fisher in his career played against Tim Hardaway and Tim Hardaway Jr
Wilford Brumley How is that kinda like it man? A lot of players in the NBA have played against both Hardaway and Hardaway Jr.
That was so lovely seeing daddy and his little king best play just like him that was great. Bless u great player lebron Jr
The flop at 1:35 do. He has learned well from his father.
I can already see his hairline fading away
+Angrymashedpotatoes winner!
+Angrymashedpotatoes How fast you go bald or when you do go bald is up to ur mother.
Dude that's the most fucked up/funniest comment ever
HAHAHAHAHA OMG 😭 Bro
+Angrymashedpotatoes he flops just like his dad
*starts crying with joy*
Don't understand how people "hate" this guy...
LBJ is a good father....i cant hold my tears seeing how father looks at sons game!
good thing about this clip is that they're not only showing the good shots and hoops made by Lebron's son but also his ability to improved with those bad shots that he threw... kudos to JIMMYBALLERS20 for not being biased.
Much Respect!! When I was 9 years old, I couldn't even catch a basketball lol.
LBJ Jr has a lot of potential! Can't wait to see how he improves to middle school and then finally highschool ball
man already done with high school
@@abhijithmalangi4610 u responded to a comment 8 YEARS AGO
i know@@NateMaya
That's awesome he looks like a great father as well as a great basketball player
Nice to see the father son relationship!! im a proud father and cant wait to go to my sons events he's only 1 though so i have awhile.
The fans painted on the wall confused me for a minute lol.
Soon his hairline will follow in his fathers footsteps and do the fadeaway.
no chill 😂
Bilbus Bagdalf And soon his Huge Bank Account will Follow In His Father's Footsteps as well :)
Why does everyone hate on the best player ever❓❓
Lol LeBron is one of my favorite players actually :)
Yeah he's my favorite
He bought the whole team lebron 11's thats pretty rad
Anyone else here 9 years later!!!!!!!!!!???????????
Does anybody else notice he runs just like his poppa. Isn't that something?
But dad i don't wanna play basketball i wanna join the pep squad and bake cupcakes and share my feelings with my friends.
Lol so gay hahaha
Halcyon ii
I'm not big lebron fan but as a father he seems on point. Thats more important then basketball anyway. I'm not talking about cause he's at his sons game it's more the fact that his son seems humble n not arrogant or disrespectful whil runs rampant with most 9 year olds.
he is just like king who came back dont leave no more
wonder when his dad is going to teach him how to flop
LOL LeFlop Jr.
Deluxe Elite the KING Jr!
maarkybaggio I can just imagine somebody saying his name then him falling
Lmao
TheDarkKnight15IG LeBron is garbage bruh
lebron has the greatest life I swear .
Awesome. Kids gotta great handle, good passer too, good vision finding open shooter reminds me of sr.
I don't know why but I find this really cute his son is so tiny and then he's all big and what not its just so cute
What's even the point of this? If he grows up to be 6'6"+, he'll be a good player. If not, he'll just be Lebron's son.
Yeah, because there are NO players in the NBA under 6'6".
therealmikebrown truth lol
therealmikebrown yes there is haha
You don't have to be 6'6" to be a good basketball player. It helps. But it is not needed
Gamer Greg isn't stepth curry like 6'4"?
He's cool, but D-Wade's son can ball for real... like no joke.
Isn't Zaire like 2 years older though?
Yeah, but you need to watch the boy. He is seriously going all star in the NBA, if he decides to play that is.
That is really sweet, LBJ and Jr. wow that is great!
Smokin da competition!
my left ear enjoyed the video.
All respect to Lebron. The man has played out of this world yet again in the last 2 finals games. There is no hatred toward him but there is some to his fans. People wanna say GOAT.. Top 3.. Top 5.. I say no way. Make a list right now of your top ten players but pretend Lebron doesn't exist. Out of those 10 players you listed can you give me one that was considered the best player in the world and left his team to join 2 all NBA players to eliminate competition and create an easy path to the finals? Since the year 2010 there has been one maybe two legit threats to Lebrons team in the East. The man has the easiest path to the finals for 6 straight years and after Sunday he will have only 3 rings to show for it. Since 2010 He only has to win 1 tough series a year to be a champion. How can this be considered a GOAT? A man who embraced the "king" and "chosen one" label left to join a champion in Dwayne Wade. Yes he took the 07 Cavs to the finals, carried them. Dude got swept. Games 3 and 4 were in reach. You gotta win 1 if you the king. Even AI got 1 against LA. can't get swept man. You guys want that as your GOAT? but a guy like Kobe gets hated on.. Kobe pushed Shaq OUT literally out the door why? Cause he wanted to be the guy. He wanted to win as the man and he did. I'm not saying lebron should have stayed in Cleveland. But he could have gone elsewhere with 1 star and actually competed AGAINST Wade and Bosh which would be EPIC as a basketball fan. The guy took the easiest way possible 6 straight years guys. He gonna have only 3 rings to show for it. You really want that from your GOAT? Ite.
Again I don't mean to hate. Im just putting some perspective on Lebrons career since 2010 because after Cavs win tomorrow y'all will be to busy celebrating to listen, y'all will call him the GOAT. The ones who read this comment before the game tomorrow might just hesistate before doing that.
Well said!
LeBron is top 5. You're crazy if you don't think so.
station4hiphop that was last year and he lost in 6 bud.
You call me a hater yet I gave lebron credit.
You are ignorant for not giving Kyrie any.
station4hiphop you need summer school real bad kiddo.
station4hiphop all I did was state facts, deal with it troll.
AWESOME VIDEO MAN!!!!
I don't know why everyone is trying to determine from a couple of highlight videos online how good LeBron's son will be. Go watch him play a full game before making any judgements. Also, its nice to finally see a video that not only highlights the great plays a player makes, but the mistakes as well. Very refreshing.
Can you all imagine if you were 1v1ing LeBron Jr.? Cmon, you'd be just a little nervous even tho he's 9
No
LevelOneHundred Patrick But he has LeBrons blood, I would be a lil nervous, + HIS DAD IS LEBRON JAMES!
I already played him when he lived in miami and we killed them
HE GOT HIS MAMA GENES!
So much love at the end hahah
Lebron James I love LOVE you you are my favourite basketball player!!!
Lebron James Fan shut up he suck
LeBron sorry Russell Westbrook all day
Hopefully one day with hard work and dedication he will make it to the big league and become rich. Oh, wait. He already is, never mind.
Lol
cry about it lol
GreatnessAwaits2K ?
Oh he is 100 percent making it. 2026 NBA draft pick #1 lebron James Jr.
+notleftbehind well #1 his dad is rich, not him...and #2 he hasn't made it to any "big league" yet, he's just a kid. Stephen curry's dad was the best shooter in hornets history, yet no big colleges wanted him, he had to prove himself first
my right ear is lonely
Very supportive father...
Oh my god, I've played on this very court before. That's awesome.
Good luck to him
When i was his age I wasn't much of a shooter but a big time blocker
Hoyuen Ho mutombo
DeathWish haha
I don't know why I thought he was going to chase that boy down and pin his shot off the backboard at 1:31
I thought the same don't know why these r highlights tho
Like father like son. #brickcity
my right ear thoroughly enjoyed this
he plays just like riley from the boondocks good handles but cant make shot to save his life
Are you an idiot? He made most of his shots.
JayWOLF37 these are highlights you mook of course most of the shots they show go in
Already a better free throw shooter than his dad.
But has he ever made 11 in a row? ruclips.net/video/VpsJe9I7MEM/видео.html
My left ear enjoyed this video.
Top dad !
he will go crying
Obviously he will play well he's against a bunch of Timothy's
1
hi
Who else randomly got this on there recommended in 2021
This kid's mannerisms, the way he drives and kicks, the way he takes difficult shots, look exactly like Lebron.
He can't be Lebron's son, he didn't dunk once!
He caught the flop gene tho
bahahaha
like father like son very nice good continuation
thats adorable
like father like son sorry asf
DWade's son was way better...
Well he's 11. so lets just watch this play out and see. they are such little guys wanting to make their daddy's proud just for now. Once they get older we don't know what direction they may take.
He has that typical Lebron starting movement
Wow,
not impressed....I think I can take him. hahahaha
OF COURSE, he's 9 lol
you that's funny
For now.
He's prob gonna make it to the finals and loose just like his dad
+Ronnie Robinson lol thats funny even tho i live in Cle.
+Kid X lel
Ronnie Robinson ikr?
Jonathan Jordan not really bro
+Ronnie Robinson I don't know where you've been, but Lebron won back-to-back championships, and was named finals MVP both times. If his son can do that, he will be a legend
dude got class.....haterz gotta back off.....coz hez the bomb....
how can you not love this video . lebron is a fantastic person and father. doesn't matter if I like kobe more you just have to give props to lebron being so positive person.
Flops just like his daddy, and he whines like him tooo... Awwwww. Too cute. He cant shoot and needs the refs to call fouls
What a DICK you are. He's just a kid.
J
He's 9, chill the fuck out.
and probably can beat u 1v1
wow we got a hater
Dwayne Wade son is better
tyrell mccaa Check out Dwayne Wade's 9-year old son "Zaire Wade". He looks like a better player with longer wingspan added into his game.
Dwayne Wade's 9-year old son "Zaire Wade" practices layup drills with dad
***** why the hell are you comparing elementary school kids? I guess kids can't play the game of basketball anymore without scrutiny, especially not the kids of NBA players.
PadreCleveland6 Sorry if you feel this way. Yes, we are comparing them based on their skills and facts evaluated by basketball scouts.
We are not just comparing them just because they are the sons of NBA superstars, but they are the future of the basketball scene in the next 10 years.
***** so are you comparing the other kids on their teams too?
only because dwyane wade's son is older..
yeah
What a great farther
LeBron was stupid to give him the same name.
How is the question
Bronny?
Bronny is his nickname
i've heard some worse names lol, besides who the fuck are to judge, name your kid whatever YOU want and stfu about others..
for real that's his son I can't stand haters
In ten years he'll be 6'7 and balding. Haha, jk.
He gonna be nice af in highschool! Cool seeing lebron cheer for his boy!!!!
Great
can't imagine the pressure I'd feel as his kid playing ball...
wow he is good, i started pretty late on basketball but with his age and with lot of people backing him up no wonder he can end in the nba in a couple of years
Lol "a couple years" hes like 9 or ten. Sorry it just made me laugh. Not several years, but a couple. I've got the picture of that Disney movie of the kid that becomes a major league pitcher in my head but the NBA version.
I like his sportsmanship
There is something you people forgot, that is a 9 year old baller, with a supportive dad, he can have great potential. Btw about the father-son genes, that depends on the how they love the sport and to have good training.
That gym is 1hr away from my hometown....I pLay AAU there all summer
Good job
Go back in time
Just watched his highlights from this year, now 10 years old waaaaaaaaaay better. what 7 months can do to your skills. While training.
I like all these videos
Thanks for watching, Maniyah Huffman! :)
Check out our channel for the latest videos!
It's funny to see the resemblance in some of the moves...
Oh gee, my left ear really enjoyed this
wow, he seems very mature for his age. good video
