I think the drop off from NCAA to Madden hit hard. Like everyone was all about college football and I even thought I would skip Madden this year because of it. But it just didn't have the same feel of being a GM and trying to build your team. So many players and so little time with the small schools. Anyway, glad your back but do what you love man. If you live stream maybe record them and just post them unedited to the channel.
So glad youre doing a madden franchise this year and not college like everyone else. I just cant get into college ball ive always loved the pros more. I know im a bit behind on these videos but just a suggestion/idea for future videos to keep things more realistic you shouldnt change playbooks unless you change coordinators as well, that way it seems like youre bringing in a new guy to call plays. Anyway, just a suggestion and im aware this franchise is further along, always love how you approach your vids and involve your audience for big decisions, keep up the good work!
Love your channel! The Madden franchise videos are definitely my favorites! I’ve been skipping the NCAA content since I’d rather not get too invested in players who might not make it to the NFL. But it could be awesome if you did something around draft season to build up the hype-maybe a special segment on players with NFL potential? Also, if you could include some kind of news or updates on real-life players, especially tracking their Madden ratings as they change throughout the season, that would be really cool!
so i wanna say a few things cb. first and foremost i love your content man. found you on 24 with the bucs and even went back and watched the texans. love it man. 2nd i play on pc so i dont have college football 25 lol. i still have ncaa 14 revamped so im a lil bit sore when it comes to watching college football from anyone so tbh when you were posting those vids i tried on a couple big man it was making me jealous lol. that’s the truth. nothing against you and your channel but man its a game i waited over a decade for just to be screwed. anyway you have a lot of fans out there. including me. i think i can speak for everyone when i say madden may not be better than college football 25 but your content for it is. as i stated before im pretty much stuck playing madden myself lol. on another note ive done some testing and i can tell you exactly what the best schemes and playbooks to run are. JETS-WEST COAST ZONE RUN CHIEFS-WEST COAST SPREAD OR WEST COAST POWER RUN COWBOYS (😢 i hate em)- WEST COAST ZONE RUN 49ERS-WEST COAST ZONE RUN EAGLES- WEST COAST SPREAD OR WEST COAST POWER RUN COLTS- WEST COAST SPREAD OR WEST COAST POWER RUN RAVENS(😢 hate em too. steelers fan here)-WEST COAST SPREAD OR WEST COAST POWER RUN DOLPHINS- WEST COAST ZONE RUN PACKERS- WEST COAST ZONE RUN SEAHAWKS- WEST COAST ZONE RUN now defensively CHIEFS- BASE 4-3 MULTIPLE D CARDINALS- BASE 4-3 TITANS- 3-4 DISGUISE PANTHERS (Yes panthers)- BASE 3-4 in all honesty man you just gotta have the right playbook paired with the right scheme paired with the right personnel. 3-4 in my opinion is king especially with bringing pressure and the run game. my personal opinion as far as the absolute best and balanced books is the packers offense and panthers defense. now if you don’t wanna use panthers defense use the titans as i stated earlier. trust me.
Quick game review (probably shorter than last time): Defence: -Passing defence needs a stern talking to after they decided to not exist for a substantial portion of the game -Running defence however was an overall positive despite some hiccups in the 4th quarter -Overall fairly good at putting pressure on the Mayfield and forcing him to throw quicker, although passing defence didn't really capitalise on that Offence: -Boyd was doing far better than his last game l'd say, until the 4th quarter. Before the 4th he had a possible TD opportunity ruined with a fumble. That being said, he did also almost throw the world's worst pick in the universe, and was saved by butter fingers. The start of his final drive was fairly positive, but unlike Dak vs the Steelers this season, he didn't find that final pass. -Brooks had purple patches this game. I don't know if I would say it was a solid game by him, but he certainly had moments (such as the touchdown run) where he showed promise. That being said, he had a fairly poor fumble and did at time not progress too far with the ball, although l'd still say it was a decent game by him Special teams: -Kick good
Regarding the content - Personally, I'm just not a college football fan. But I would encourage you to branch out to whatever content you want to make, whether it's here or on another channel. Sticking with one thing because it draws is great, but definitely can lead to burnout. Regarding the rest of the video - Really enjoyed the scouting part at the beginning. Your scouting tips video and seeing you go through it here has helped me get a better understanding of scouting and things to look for. That 2nd down throwaway on the final drive was painful. No pressure and 2 guys standing in the back of the endzone. Question for you - I came back to Madden with 24 and am now playing 25 and just doing CPU vs. CPU. Have you ever seen a QB sneak? I did 7 seasons in 24 and am 12 games into 25 and have yet to see one. Also, will they ever spike the ball on a 2 minute drive? I've seen a few games in 25 where the team was in range for a tying or winning FG with seconds left, time to spike the ball, but just run a play. I'm guessing these are some of the quirks we just have to deal with doing CPU vs. CPU.
It's a shame that the CFB didn't work out, I'm sorry it caused you so much stress. You were framing the discussion as if "you're good at madden videos" and "not good at CFB videos", which I reject. I don't think the videos underperformed due to quality, metadata or whatever. One of the functions of subscriptions is to is be the litmus test for a video's performance. We're the first ones to see it, we'll be the first to click/watch/engage etc. One of the benefits of a large, highly engaged subscriber base is that it provides this surge of positive metrics. When you uploaded your first NCAA video, you were essentially taking a survey of how many of your subs picked up the new game. And personally, I don't have remotely the same interest in college football compared to the NFL. That's nothing to do with you or the video quality. So if only 30% of your regulars went out and bought CFB, that is going to punish your CTR, RUclips presumes it's an unappealing video, and it struggles to breakout. That doesn't mean growth on those videos isn't possible, or that you can't do both games. I see a lot of big madden channels bouncing between both at the moment, it clearly works. But you may need to be persist and maybe get a bit crafty with it. I'd be curious if there's any way to integrate the two games or cross-promote them. Find a way to lure your Madden viewers to CFB. If CFB is going to continue as an on-going series, I imagine it's definitely worth the effort to keep pursuing it - especially if it's something you actually have an interest in doing.
Appreciate your thoughts. I do feel like it’s something I still want to try at some point but I need to do better research on trying to find ways to get in the right hands. If I go back to uploading I may upload without notifying my subscribers to see if it can find a natural audience.
I just found this channel and I am bingeing everything! Keep up the good work!

I don't watch your college football videos because I'm just not a fan of college football. So I definitely love your Madden videos

i like 4-3 but problem is when you have good edge rusher at olb and good defensive ends and dts already i would have to trade someone. or ppl
How do you play CPU vs CPU???
giants pb good for a 3-4 to me
That guy just watched baker run in to the endzone
cause i’m in an online league and change mine round by matchup
ya cause he slow. he straight power
so when doing your cb matchups do u match em by speed or by best ovr
