Really cool! I was just thinking today about how much fun it would be to build from kit form. Seems everything is RTR and I really enjoy assembly. Last kit I built was a rockbuster buggy so you know I'm old lol. That was probably the mid 80s. Your videos are great
Look around, a LOT of the better crawlers are available in kit or RTR. I'm 61 and my close up eyesight sucks donkey balls now and the teeny tiny screws and gears would drive me batty so I appreciate the RTR form hahaha

I love my Killerbody LC70 body kit. I bought mine last year from ATees and it's amazing. I also got the detailed interior. This year I bought a Killerbody Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 body for my Tamiya TT-02. I just love how detailed Killerbody's products are.

@@muskokamike127 ye man it's not an inexpensive hobby, I have 4 crawlers with well over a thousand dollars in each of them & that's just crawlers, my NPRC Drag cars have several thousands, a 2s battery alone for those cars cost over $2 - $3 hundred depending on choice. Definitely an expensive hobby but sure is fun...
@@ConditionZero76 well, the beauty is it doesn't have to be expensive. There are a TON of cheaper pretty decent vehicles.
When I was a kid in the 70's, to get in the air with an R/C plane would cost around $2500 which is $10,000 in today's dollars. I just bought my third plane, $80 and it comes with a gyro. All in, radio and everything.
The tech in the more expensive ones is pretty amazing and all the metal parts and machining is pretty incredible

What radio transmitter do you use? I have a flysky gt5, but I am not sure if it has features to use for the 2-speed transmission. I believe I will need a transmitter with a 2-way switch or something.
Whats the soundtrack? Watched a lot of your videos and I cant get this song out of my head!
Someone needs to release an esc that can be tuned that at certain rpms it activates the shift servo like a real automatic transmission. or one that's spring/clutch controlled like on the old nitros.

@@RCReviewChannel Haha thanks Francis! The Neca retro clothes figures are larger then their 1/12 figures so they work out better in larger rigs for sure. The clothing ads that bit of extra realism as well to scale rigs.

I was impressed with most of the kit but for the price the rod ends, shocks and tire foams are hot garbage. Seriously unimpressed with those parts. The rest of the truck is fantastic.
