Lived near where the Santa Anas blow down the Cajon Pass. Without fires we had winds strong enough to blow big rigs off the 15 above the 30 (formerly Highland Ave) at least twice a year. Gust of 100 mph recorded while I lived there. Those have literally blow roofs off houses. As in they had a great view of the sky when they looked up. I am old. In the past a fair number of fires were caused by idiots tossing their cigarettes out their vehicle window. Sometimes started from broken glass. Some people tossed their glass soda or booze bottles out of their car windows. One of the worst fires about 30 years ago was started by a hiker who decided to burn his used toilet paper rather than carry it back with him. Another who was mowing down the dead grasses when the mower blades sparked hitting rocks. Then there was the California firefighter who started quite a few. I forget when he was convicted. The vast majority of fires in S. California are caused by humans. Whether accidentally or on purpose. To the degree that that should be assumed.
On the lack of water. It is hard to tell. The ocean seems fairly close, I do not know the distance. Los Angeles has two fireboats. These boats can pump water at greater amounts than any land-based fire engine. In a pre-plan, such ships can supply water to land-based engines. The TV news coverage showed no use of the firefighting boats. Were they deployed?
0:45 Hmmm fires are caused also by broken glass (the sun) reflecting on dry vegetation that is not cleared by residents of the county or the county itself.
There is satellite footage of the three fires, Palisades, Easton and Pasadena all starting simultaneously as if by incendiary bomb. However, I can't find the footage anymore.
People who live in California are mad at the insurance companies for dropping them. They are living in an area that could burn at anytime and they KNEW that when they moved there. It was YOUR choice to take the chance. Please don't expect the insurance companies to protect areas that the state never took care of, brush, etc. Blame your governor, not the insurance company and next time, move to an area that isn't a fire danger. If you can afford to rebuild, protect yourselves and self-insure just in case it happens again.
I saw a report from people checking satellite images that claim five fires started almost simultaneously at different locations around the perimeter of the burned area. True or not? I couldn’t say.

Maybe this will learn yall to STOP VOTING FREAKING DEMOCRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did 3 fires start simultaneously in 3 separate locations and then people still blame climate change?
0:45 Hmmm fires are caused also by broken glass (the sun) reflecting on dry vegetation that is not cleared by residents of the county or the county itself.
I must have missed the part where he said he knows how it started.
Newsom says that he will replace the homes with low rent apartments
It’s all been arson..l am so very sad for all involved.
So devastating, tragic and sad!
He’s correct it don’t start on its own
There is satellite footage of the three fires, Palisades, Easton and Pasadena all starting simultaneously as if by incendiary bomb. However, I can't find the footage anymore.
The hardest part will be watching Governor Newsom build LA 2.0
People who live in California are mad at the insurance companies for dropping them. They are living in an area that could burn at anytime and they KNEW that when they moved there. It was YOUR choice to take the chance. Please don't expect the insurance companies to protect areas that the state never took care of, brush, etc. Blame your governor, not the insurance company and next time, move to an area that isn't a fire danger. If you can afford to rebuild, protect yourselves and self-insure just in case it happens again.
Fire didn’t start by itself, it was the plan.
I saw a report from people checking satellite images that claim five fires started almost simultaneously at different locations around the perimeter of the burned area. True or not? I couldn’t say.
False
It doesn't seem the gentleman witness the starting or can identify the source of ignition , " heard it could of been started by a hiker , homeless transient person "
The title of the RUclips video was misleading .
I think his words will be very important.
Heavy duty country has video of kids setting the fire
Hikers don’t start fires.
@ Ah but there is a definite difference between a hiker and a homeless person which was my point. It’s not just semantics.
@@kennethtyree4770 to each his own.
@ You obviously haven’t been around any hikers or backpackers. There is a set of rules that both groups follow which I’m not going to take the time to insert here. “Elites” no but environmental caring yes.
@ I disagree. Experiencing the wilderness teaches you about our planet and about how insignificant you are. Everyone needs to do this but of course they won’t. They’ll continue to watch their fantasies on tv.
@ I don’t abide by the lowest common denominator theory.
Was it arson???
they already got two arsonist in custody !
@@copyprint-fz2hb.....and they're released. 💀
@@jasonjones759 i know ! sad isn't it
Trump Supporters started the fires to create kaos
OF COURSE IT WAS!!!!! IT WAS N-O-T HOWEVER ANYTHING TO DO WITH "GLOBAL WARMING" OR "CLIMATE CHANGE"....THIS IS A MYTH!!!! THIS IS A HOAX!!!! NO SCIENCE BEHIND IT!!!
I think everyone should be on a look out for the homeless people, they don’t care about anything. Report the homeless if he or she is in a place where she or he shouldn’t be.
Looks like Gaza
Look up Smart LA city 2028 Newsomes plan to build high density housing in that area
When fire breaks out, all water going to houses plumbing should be redirected to fire hydrants
Keep voting blue that’s what you get!
The fires in Los Angeles looks like the bombed cities of Gaza. The wrath of mankind towards one another is so evil.
Stop calling it a wildfire
What is starting the fires!!!!!?
It’s a terror attack
If only if FD was notified quickly and had the staff and water to react agressively.
Why is everyone always blaming "a homeless person" when it very likely could have been a fire fighter or Brian Williams !?
lol
Clear the dead brush away from building 200 yards buffer zone at least.
So does anyone still believe this is not purposeful?
So he was just guessing then... Kind of a click bait title.
DRONES STARTED IT,
Nope.
Well, we all read about the fires recently in Italy. Strange fires were popping up out of nowhere. Many of the fires they couldn't explain what may have caused these beds and couches to catch fire. Authorities decided to set up monitoring stations to further investigate the origins of mysterious fires. Well, it turns out that the fires were started by drones shooting light beams of sorts. They tried to follow the drones, but the drones fired upon and tea BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGB

No shit, I didn’t think I could have been the only one who saw that.
Good luck getting materials to rebuild.
Just wait for the Second and Even Larger Shock from your Insurance Company.
Lady..if u are anywhere in california...you are not in a"safe place"
Everybody is aware that it’s the homeless addicts at this point
It can be caused by a bottle of glass, magnifying glass the sun rays… most often just careless humans. Homeless people don’t want to burn out their homes either.
Near sunset hundreds of big windows on the Berkeley hills reflect the sunlight for miles. We were all taught in the BS, that's a fire hazard.
Maybe it was State Farm that started.
