So, I tried this WITHOUT special Extinction blade MKII in two variance. However, please do consider that I have Perpetuity rings on all the characters that does the skill dmg, so it may vary when you actually try it out without one. And for note, I have CA dmg cap on Nezha, not skill dmg cap. Case 1 (Replaced with Special Ushumgal and Bonsai). This was possible, but just barely. This gets you about 30% more skill dmg cap by giving up 20% CA dmg cap and 7% dmg cap. I thought the buffs were able to provide with sufficient survivability enough to remove 2 garrison weapons. It kinda does, but it was almost impossible to make some moves below 40% if you can't get your halo lvl below 12. However, the biggest problem with this replacement was, that it provides way too much skill dmg, that you have to deal with skill dmg trigger almost every 4~5 turns. Even 2, if you use all of Fraux, Perci and Nezha in single turn, which is when you deal with 2M trigger. This provides with really serious problem, as this party is NOT built to face multiple skill dmg trigger over short time (CA 5 times, FC and 10 debuffs). So I personally don't recommend this one. Case 2 (Replaced with Bonsai) This was made since someone told me that he can't really do the same due to skill dmg difference coming from that Perpetuity rings. Replacing one with bonsai will give you 10% more skill dmg cap by giving up 10% ca dmg cap and 5% dmg cap. It was just to fill in the 5% dmg cap gap provided by Perpetuity ring. This, actually worked out just perfect. It had good enough defense with perfectly good skill dmg output by having Nezha deal 2M stably, though I still needed Crimson Nightmare with Fraux Upright. This didn't provide with ridiculously high amount of skill dmg increase, which did help a lot with taking control over the omen that I want to deal with now/later. I still did get skill dmg trigger just 1 turn after I cleared one, but that happens even now (with grid on the vid), so that was completely normal. However, this, for somewhat reason, provided with LOT less dmg at start compared to using Special Extinction blade MK II, which didn't really make sense, since they actually provide with the same lvl of Might on paper. It could be just a difference coming from pure stats of the weapon, but I don't really think difference of 370atk will gonna make that huge difference, so I'm still experimenting few things with this. But it did provide with almost the same dps/dpt by second phase, so I guess all the buffs and debuffs can fill in the gap between whatever that was missing out. I personally recommend this variance if you don't have Perpetuity on Nezha, since I will always recommend having CA dmg cap on him when using in Hexa.
If you already have Draconic harp upgraded, then it should be possible. Also, if you have to replace them, I'd recommend ULB Ushumgal. But I can't say for certain if replacing both of them with ULB Ushumgal will leave you with enough survivability. Just for additional note, you also don't need to rebuild DEF mugen sword. 15 is just fine as it is, but 20 will give you tiny bit more survivability with 5% heal cap (which, I think is completely ignorable)

can you do this without special mugen sword at awakening 20?
