Countryboy....Well, that's why I started making these videos. I needed to see more of what I was going to expect while on the trail. Still pics were good but video gave a more complete picture. Cheers!
Nice group of ppl to go with I hate only hiking with 2-3 ppl groups are much safer especially in our neck of the woods thanks for the great video stunning view!👍✨
... It is nice being in a big group. Yes, safety in numbers. I dont do as many big group hikes now. Usually just me and a friend. I still feel safe in a small group. Just make lots of noise and have your bear spray ready.
+Harlan Fox I will do both eventually. It seems mount Allan may be the more glamours option. But, I'm leaning toward getting middle sister bagged first. Thanks!
Could have done that although when I did this route it's how almost everyone did it then. Now knowing about the traverse from the Orphan I would definitely do it that way. Cheers!
Hi Harlan, I've been watching your videos to plan out my hikes this year. Thank you so much for making these videos. It really helped me prepare for my hikes. My family and I will be doing this hike this September. Where did you guys park your vehicles? Thanks again from one of your subscribers in Edmonton. Btw, I love your Mt Temple video. That's in my bucket list of summits. I've always just gone up to Sentinel Pass.
Ya Temple is a must to do. As far as where you park, try and go through the roundabout and eventually we turned right by some apartment type buildings right by the golf course. It goes down a tiny hill. There's parking there. That's where you see the maintenance shed in the video. Hope that helps.
Sony Nex 3 I believe it is. Just At work right now. Nothing fancy. I either use that or if I need a more compact one just a little compact canon that does HD VIDEO.
Thank you for this video. Helps with our planning in Aug.
@@tinanovember9844 No worries. I think if I did this one again I would do the traverse from the Orphan to Middle Sister
I would love to try this next summer...I've been watching all your videos I am really fascinating on it...thanks for sharing all your amazing hikes👍
Thanks Maria!...Middle Sister is great. It can be accessed from either Spray Lakes road by hiking up The Orphan or the way I did it.
I'm really enjoying your videos. Really helping me with planning out my weekends. Cheers!
Thanks for that! I love making them and I hope it helps you plan. They're fun to make and it's my passion.
Love how your videos are some informative. You do a great job :)
Thanks Monique! very kind of you. I know when I'm researching a route I like to know what I'm getting into.
Hello! I really like it. 😍
Very nice - I have this on my list to do.
...Its a classic. Especially now that more people are doing it from the spray lakes side. Makes it shorter.
Do one of fairview in lake Louise I know it’s easy but your videos are great for the beginners to find there way
Countryboy ..I'll get there one day!
I wish these videos were around 20 years ago when I was out there and not just the books when trying to figure out the trails on my own.

@@HarlanFox--Scrambles yes we always have bear spray ready! thx👍
Thanks - Im debating between middle sister, and mount allan this Sunday. seen both vids. cheers.
They are both excellent Hikes. I know many people love Mt. Allan but I'm partial to Middle Sister.
+Harlan Fox I will do both eventually. It seems mount Allan may be the more glamours option. But, I'm leaning toward getting middle sister bagged first. Thanks!
Good work, can you do little sister ? And what month you did this one ?
Little Sister requires ropes and extra gear. I did this in June. Cheers!
I would have started up in spray lakes and worked over to the middle sister.
Could have done that although when I did this route it's how almost everyone did it then. Now knowing about the traverse from the Orphan I would definitely do it that way. Cheers!

Helio Neto ...Not sure what you mean.
