More and more people are becoming desensitized to evil in sexually explicit music and other platforms. Unwholesome words are definitely not of God but of the devil. As Ephesians 4:29 says, " 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what helps build others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
Jake and Jungwon are playing the explicit version of Seven without a care because they are now desensitized to such evil. Many artists in the music industry have been releasing such kind of music and it is very appealing to the carnal minds of spiritually dead humans.
Jungwon actually recognized that they were playing the explicit version. Still, because the older Jake acted like it did not matter, Jungwon just followed the older ones' actions even when Jungwon is the leader. Perhaps if Jungwon was alone, he would have probably stopped the song.
During Eunchae's diary episode with Ni-Ki and Jake, it was mentioned that Jake was like the parent of the younger members but perhaps not a very good idea. Jungwon, Sunoo, and Ni-Ki still have this wholesomeness about them whereas Jake seems to be doing his best to shake his former Christian life away.
As idols being looked up to by many young people, Jake and Jungwon are sending a message that listening to explicit versions of songs is good even when it's not. Jake and Jungwon seem to think that it is okay to endorse this kind of music to people watching them during this live because fans who are equally desensitized to such evil in music applaud them for it. If I weren't a Christian yet, I would probably applaud them for it too because I would love them more than anything else too, for sure.
Most people know deep within that explicit versions of songs among other things are unholy but people who do not know God yet are easily drawn to unholy things. And though they know it's wrong, the desires of the flesh are strong. This is how it is for people who are spiritually dead. Dead people do not feel the weight of SIN piling on top of them.
I hope and pray that all Enhypen members and Engenes (who might be Christ's lost sheep) will know this biblical TRUTH and be set free from Spiritual DEATH sooner. 🙏🤍
