TickTick is one of the best tools right now on the market. The only downside I could find is an outdated design. I know some people who refuse to use TickTick just because of that and I can't blame them tbh
todoist has a better design overall which seems more minimal and clean that ticktick, but it doesnt have pomodoro timers or note taking features like ticktick. When it comes down to versatility & features, ticktick is way better.
In the end, you said that Tick Tick is less robust than Todoist. Is there a specific reason? (You even called it 'not professional'? Wow!) I find Tick Tick to be more feature-rich than Todoist (and we cannot say it clutters the interface because a user can turn it off). For me, Todoist only outshines Tick Tick on the design but not functionality. What do you think?
Agreed. I was a todoist evangelist but there are so many stupid things in todoist like no robust notes, inability to drag and drop in Kanban when a sort is applied, multiple steps to set reminders on tasks without times, when I discovered ticktick it was all over for todoist. I wish they'd update the UI so it's less boxy and had more contrast when viewing tasks in Kanban but I can live with that.
Tick tick is 100% a better product. It is a task management, task schedular, time tracking, habit tracking and notes system. It's almost a fledging all in one PERSONAL productivity system, they just need to make the note feature of the app more capable. The desktop and web app are way more feature rich, customizable and work perfectly. The free version gives you a lot more than Todoist AND IT'S CHEAPER. It's not even close.

The design isn't as nice, but agree, very underated too.
I'm on that same boat, if TickTick released a better design I would adopt it in a blink of an eye
@@lukemoralesTVwhat is an example of software with better design?
Everytime i try to stick to it i find my self going back to Things 3
The look and feel of things is unbeatable
@@Chris-cx6wl Things 3, Todoist, Akiflow, Sunsama

@@scottaltham6189 definitely a far superior app than Todoist. Same money much better feature set.
Why do you say it is less robust than Todoist? Can explain which parts specifically?
The system that Todoist has created is more structured than in TickTick, less features, but more intention behind them.
where is the feature that you can just drag tasks into your calender?
The new colour themes look good.
really insightful, thanks for your time
It's not less robust than todoist. That's objectively wrong.
@toolfinderhq Can you do „all in” ticktick vs Todoist compareson after Todoist calendar feature is added ?

They also refuse to implement 2fa login security. That was enough for me to move to Todoist.
