i have been told that the mithril golem doesnt increase powder when opening chests. you can use a mithril or gemstone drill for extra powder tho

How do you level your mining pets so fast?

Because derpy was mayor at the time, which means 150% exp and that also counts to your pet so you level it way faster :)
