You are picking the wrong table.for EPS. You took table showing Quarterly numbers which can not be linear due to seasonality which happens in most of other businesses too forget liquor industry.
Dont underestimate our drinkers and smokers..invest in Itc and liquor stock without hesitation...liquor consumption per capita is very less in our country when compared to china.. drinking is becoming status symbol nowadays
Hasn't drinking alcohol always been a status symbol? Also, we are surely not denying that the market of alcohol will not grow, it will definitely grow. But the real question is - Will the companies producing alcohol make higher profit margins?

Not all alcohol stocks are facing issues. Some like Som Distilleries, Tilaknagar Industries and Sula Vineyards are at their all time highs. There must be something different that these companies are doing. Just my 2 cents.

I've been holding associated alcohol since it was trading below 20rs. I haven't sold yet. The thing about this stock is that it's criminally undervalued compared to its peers. I'm looking at a new all time high by 2024

You did not discuss Sula Vineyards that much. I think that it has a very good potential in Beverages and Hospitality market.
I only have alcohol and tobacco stocks in my portfolio. I trust the customers of these companies.

Have you checked if they sales, profit is increasing? Is their opm stable or decreasing?
