I came in SEVEN minutes after you posted this video & there were already more than 1000 views!!! Way to start a Saturday, right?? You could sure see the unhappy mice getting disturbed when you started moving that 1st section!!
Yeah, I think both you men are way ahead of your 'pay grade'. Great men, great farmers, great cattlemen, Great engineers, Great Americans. Thank you for feeding America!!
Your Grandpa defiantly set you up for the win! Some guys would just set those down on gravel but he obviously was a man that did things right. Good for generations to come.
When you patch those bunks make sure to clean it with a wire brush and water. Let dry then apply concrete adhesive before you poor the patch. Great job guys!
Cole, when patching the bunks. Use wood glue (Elmers) paint it on the sides of the hole to be patched. They sell concrete glue, but it’s just watered down wood glue. It will help your patch adhere much better.
It's truly a wonderful feeling having such amazing farm neighbors around. The blessing abound and serve everyone. God Bless all of the hard working farmers and families. I, for one am greatful for all the bounty you've provided in my life.
It’s cool Country! Unfortunately we have new people move them all the time that don’t understand what it means to help neighbors etc. Part of the new movement I guess. Something this old dude does not understand.
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian and uncle Jeff. It was interesting and enjoyable. Good one. Nice work on that bunk line!!!!! You are so fortunate to get those from a neighbor. They looked in real good shape. After you got the new ones all lined up and everything your bunk line looked like a new one. Great work by all of you!!!!! Looks amazing!!!!!!!!!! Nice work. Good to see Uncle Jeff again. Hi to him. Glad you caught those items on the planter before they became major ones. Good work getting the problems fixed. Ready to go for planting soybeans!!!’ Go get em!!!!!!! Good to see Sonny again. Cute little dog!!!!!!!! And you had some bunks left over to use on the home place. Good show guys. About it I guess. You both take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
I’ll say it again, Cole can sure operate that Skidsteer. At 60, I’m a rookie and learning to run one and it isn’t as easy as he makes it look. Especially, the wheel model! Nice job getting them placed.
So nice to learn about how farms evolved. Brian thanks for all you have done and passing down your knowledge to Cole. Love how you both help Jeff. I'm sure Jeff's cows thank you/ There is never a dull day on the Sonne farm, you always find something to do !!! God bless.
Great episode Cole, I love watching what you and your Dad put out there! Working on improvements always pays off in the end, always keep the thinking ahead mentality in mind. There is a rhyme and a reason to everything, to your Dad it's second nature. I hope you learn it also. Passing that onto our progeny is the most important part of our lives. Brian, your Dad means the world to me, he reminds me of my own. Even though I'm just a few years younger than him. You guys keep the Nation on its feet, keep that in mind!!
@@briansonne814 I meant to tell Cole that I was just a few years younger than you but, the sentiment is still the same. The stories my dad told me meant the world to me and I can tell they did to you also. Our history needs to be continued, what are we without it? I don't want to know.
awsome video cole i always enjoy when mr cole sonne posted videos thumbs up and shared got to say cole tiff packs a good lunch or snacks as i sometimes see lol
I’ve been watching for several years and heard a couple of stories, but I personally would enjoy a story of the day, like song of the day, about Brian of Jeff growing up on the farm, also stories about their father. I’ve lost almost all of my family and sure miss their stories.
Nice that you are able to upgrade and someone else is able to use the old bunks I also would be scared to have cows up against the corner definitely another welding and concrete project
Thanks for the video. Always love them. Saw a fat rat eating out of my bird feeder last night. Could not believe it. Thought only squirrels did that. They are everywhere. Blessings!
I am in awe of your machine operating ability I know getting a 2000 pound chunk of concrete lined up perfectly isn't easy Get the beans planted so you can make 4358 round bales No Ditch hay this year
One of the best machines you bought was that big old 4 wheel loader! It is a all around work horse of just about anything you do on the farm. Great video thanks so much to all.
Watching that planter un-fold is so amazing! Never ceases to amaze me. We were always stuck with a 6-row, Dad says, “there is no way they make make them any bigger, would be so heavy and wide you wouldn’t even be able to transport it!
Great looking feed bunk I watch several farming videos and by far I enjoy Sonne Farms the best it just reminds me of farming with my grandfather and all these years later little things we'll talk about come into play it seems like on a daily basis my point is Cole cherish all these times with your dad and uncle

Wowww that is nigh and day that is great work looks wayyyy better and that yellow machine case? What a great piece of equipment perfect size for many jobs
Love watching your videos. Makes me miss the farm that I lived on in southern Indiana. Always enjoyed bottle feeding the Calves that weren't accepted by their mothers.
Great job on the bunk work, looks nice. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than to be efficient, the marker bolt issue is a good example. Good luck with the finishing of the planting, also on the hay projects. Thanks and I hope your weekend goes great.
Who needs vice grips/clamps...when Brain grips(16:41-16:47) are right there and free? Best part is....they're Brain strong...but the three farmin'/ranchin' Sonnes can get 'er done with a feather light touch when needed(see feed trough installation at start of video!)👀💪💪💪👍👍👍🛠🔩🔧🚜☀️👍👏👏👏👏
We need more stories about grandpa.
You know some serious work is about to go down when Jeff shows up with a sledgehammer.
Oh man! I would have loved to see that.
I came in SEVEN minutes after you posted this video & there were already more than 1000 views!!! Way to start a Saturday, right??
You could sure see the unhappy mice getting disturbed when you started moving that 1st section!!
Always good to see Jeff, tell him we'd love to see him more often.
What a nice upgrade to your operation. And bonus... you didn't have to go far to get them.
Yeah, I think both you men are way ahead of your 'pay grade'. Great men, great farmers, great cattlemen, Great engineers, Great Americans. Thank you for feeding America!!
That is very kind of you thanks!
Your Grandpa defiantly set you up for the win! Some guys would just set those down on gravel but he obviously was a man that did things right. Good for generations to come.
You said it!

I hope the neighbor selling the bunks doesn’t mean you lost a family farm in your neighborhood.
No, they expanded their trucking business.
Thanks for another great video Cole and Brian and uncle Jeff.
It was interesting and enjoyable. Good one.

Great that you can recycle all those feeders. Kudos to you. God bless. ❤😊
There is so much to be learned by how you guys use your "spare" time to improve the farm for the future.

75 dollars a foot
Them bunks came from a nice looking feed lot.
You guys are always an amazing privilege to watch each and every adventure!!
Getting stuff done! 👏🏻👍🏻
Nice tidy clean up under the bunker!
Oh my! The rodentia city your cattle operation feeds is impressive. Around 4:00 when you are moving the bunks, the critters are scurrying.
Cole it always great to see Jeff with ya luv ya show
17:07 🤔 "Seed it up for tomorrow..." 😂
The Sonne men are "Get Er Done" people. Since watching I think I saw 2x workers coming to do job...internet and water pump replacement. ❤
Ed at you tube Corner Farm said as a farmer cattleman it’s not reuse recycle ect it’s Reuse Reuse Reuse Reuse Firepit.👨🌾
Great Show 🇺🇲👍🏻

Nice work fellas :)
Great improvement for low investment. ☺️
Precision work 👏👏👏
It took the visual to understand that the 'bunk line' was actually what I knew to be the feed trough!
Cole, you mentioned haying, hope you do not have to do any ditch haying this year!
Great improvement. Can't wait for hay season!
And we're down here in Texas with 107 including the heat index!!
