Eileen hit me like an explosion. It's hard discussing it because it triggers old feelings of anger and resentment toward my parents, especially my father. The insanity in this film comes from trauma, and I 100% identified with Eileen's reaction to the world and to herself. I love this film to death.
I'm a bit bitter and jealous admittedly but you worked really hard clearly and I think you ask great questions and your love and enthusiasm for film is unparalleled. Ok I admit you're the interview g.o.a.t.
