Sorry I have been SUPER behind in posting vlogs guys, we’ve just been so busy here it’s hard to find time to edit and upload videos. I’ll have to do some multiple videos in a day this week
I'm a songwriter Chris and 'Hurricane at the Sanctuary' has got to be one of the best song or album titles I've ever heard...... I will be writing a song or naming an album 'Hurricane at the Sanctuary' if it kills me.... It indicates an absolute level of carnage in a place that's by nature expected to be the most serene.... This is genius..... I promise you that if I ever earn any money from a song or album with this title that I'll donate a large percentage to Bellowing Acres.....
Don't ever be sorry Chris we totally understand you been dealing with so much & vet visits both coming and going literally its been nonstop just super grateful for whatever you put out when you can hope you and Gabby are taking time for yourselves when ya can appreciate ya and all you do
It's all good Chris, running the sanctuary & making sure all the animals are healthy is priority numero uno. I hope Jet is doing better & I am absolutely in love with Daisy she's just too adorable for words❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@GatorChris_ I noticed it too! You seemed to walk for a good bit before we finally saw Dino up against the fence at the very back. Those enclosures are huge! Very blessed gators. 🐊
SO happy to hear that Dino seems to be a little better! I sure hope he continues to improve. Gaston....poor baby....I hope the doc is able to discern his issue and heal him up too. Watching you trek through Dino's enclosure makes one realize how nice and big it is! I see why they use gator sounds in movies...they are quite Amazing. I'm sorry to hear about Cosmo's diagnosis. I did not know that birds could get diabetes! Jet! praying he is okay too I sure hope you and the sanctuary will be safe from hurricanes now and in the future. Thank you for the update!
Glad to see the hurricane caused little damage, but must be scary for the animals. Haven’t seen the emus lately…are they ok? Hope Jet’s lack of appetite is simply anxiety about the weather. I’m sure a desert fox doesn’t know what quite to do with all the rain and wind.
Oh🤗🤗 Dino!! He's out of the pool!! Oh my.. looks so skinny! I've never seen a skinny gator before. I'm so happy he's out of the water. I pray for him every night.
I do hope those gators feel better soon.. btw I told about you to my mom, and after she watched, she said “Chris’s voice has a ton of love for all of animals here, surely his voice makes them feel much safe and relaxed” I agreed.
Nice to see Dino up and exploring. Poor Cosmo. I hope you guys can manage his diabetes. I hope Jet is ok as well. It's nice to see everyone else is ok. Got a Tadpool sighting which was cool. He looks much more comfortable with you guys now. Sending prayers for Jet!!
Chris, thanks for the update. I tracked Hurricane Debby and was hoping you didn’t have much damage. I’m so excited to see Dino on land. I’ll be praying for Cosmo and Jet. I know it’s worrisome for you and Gabby. Nobody likes to see our animal friends not feeling well. I know you two never have a day off, but try to relax when you can. You both work so hard to help these precious animals. God bless you both and all the animals at the sanctuary. Hugs from Tennessee. 💕
Sorry to hear about the diabetes. I have a 35 year old red lored Amazon and have had a number of large and small species parrots that have been special needs over the years. It’s very sad when you spend thousands of dollars and they still can’t be saved. Hoping for a long happy life for Cosmo and the others. I don’t think a lot of people realize that birds can get a lot of the same ailments humans get. Unfortunately I often think that exotics suffer more due to lack of knowledge by the casual owner. ❤
Glad you did not get too much of Debby.....it looks a lot like what we got down here in Orlando. It was so cute when the goats and pigs peeked their heads out of their little barn to see if you were bringing food.
I think if you posted 3 hours of unedited footage I'd probably notice/wonder around h1:30 that it may have been unintentional but ride it out -including camera aimed at sky or ground, I would still be delightedly entertained by all the critter noises and a Clover or a Bambi or a emu sauntering by... Bellowing Acres is a sanctuary
I’m sure the vlogs are a lot of work on top of tons more. I’ve been insanely impressed and inspired by your work ethic. Spent the day today relocating catfish and literally a thousand Sailfin Mollys that were trapped in a drying ditch. They were brought in because of some minor storm surge that flooded a creek next to my house.
So sad about Cosmo. I adore all the birds. Little budgies to gorgeous chloe. I hope Dino ate that chicken and Gasy gets better, poor beasts. . Thanks for the post ❤
Great news that so far, damage hasn't been an issue. Lovely to see Dino out and about. Gaston still bloated but has a lovely quarantine area. Glad he's eating and you're able to hide his meds in the meat. Sad about Cosmo's health report. He's a lovely bright fellow. Wisdom to everyone involved in his care. Marvelous, as always getting the chance of seeing the different poultry all hanging out together with one another despite the wet and muddy conditions. I haven't seen the Emu for awhile. Are they doing okay. I presume with the addition of Pebbles it threw a spanner in the works of the two girls roaming freely. Did they use the shelter you had built for them? Thanks for the update vlog. Fingers crossed for the future vet visits.
Thank you for another excelent vlog I truly apreciate these and love that you drop them at night I watch it and it relaxes me and gets me in good place to sleep again thank you !! I'm sorry to hear about Cosmo ❤ I hope Dr Colberts plan works for him and you have him for a long time to come. The Animals seem to have faired well in the storm and look great all but poor comit he was hot mess lol....Did you find out if Dino ate that piece of chicken? Hope so any how hope you had a nice weekend and enjoy your evening. Have a nice week!!!
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer our questions I was thinking about you and Gabby need a rest take care in the storms and lots of love to your beautiful animals xxx❤
@@GatorChris_ :-) So many other RUclips channels seem to be about the presenter proving how wild-man tough he his by taking unnecessary dramatic risks with the animals. Such presenters' use venom, poison, death, danger, extreme, risky, nearly, and whoa in most every other sentence. For me you seem far more professinal, focussing on the animal, its history, care requirements, unique characteristics and health regime. I actually learn more about the animals, and see animals, as ill as some are, far less stressed when you are with them always the focus, and always better for your attention. You have their trust and my respect. :-)
Seems like your bird enclosures could use some wind-break walls on three sides. My hens stay tucked away inside their coop during these storms. The wind in that last one triggered FEMA for us.
How are the foxes with this weather? If you have any unused kennels or something to offer them cover that might help. Considering where they came from; I am worried about their mental wellbeing
Why do you use tongs in land but toss the meat in the gators mouth in the water? You both are so kind and caring these animals are so blessed to have you both

I don't think we realize that these alligator enclosures are incredibly huge. Like Dino is 11 feet and he get's lost on land in his. So amazing.
I was wondering if anyone was going to notice the enclosure size in this video ❤️🐊

Prayers for Jet that he’s not sick. 🙏
So good to see Dino. Prayers for him and Cosmo❤

Yes. thank you! Prayers for all the sick or under the weather sweet animals at Bellowing Acres.
Seeing Dino and Gaston take the food was such a beautiful sight to see. I'm glad yall made it through the rain and stuff. Be safe out there

The dynamic of Bella coming close to you for food & then hissing at you for being too close is pretty weird... Lol

Here in St. Augustine Debby wasn't that bad. We had a thunder storm a day after that was worse.

Do you have help creating all the food dishes??
Does Gaston look any less bloated?
Is it possible for a reptilian like an alligator to be imprinted on humans?
poor Dino
You look like you’re judging us so harshly in the thumbnail.
hi
Was this before Dino ate the chicken?
Yes
Oh please eat Dino. 🙏 please..😢
