Honestly your results look absolutely amazing and so natural!! I also like how you acknowledged this isn't just for trans people specifically I had to get one due to trichtillomania and there's many reasons why people might need this procedure.

Your hair is fabulous. I had my second session with Dr Williams last week, this time in the centre front. Two years ago I had my temples done just as you did. My experiences were very similar to yours. Happily for me the pain at the back of my head is less severe than you described. We all have different pain thresholds. Farjo certainly looked after me!

I'm so proud of you for sharing all this (I'm too vulnerable to share my photos, I'm not in a safe situation)! You had yours done 6 weeks after I had my own FUT surgery. How'd you do with the staples, and your scar? I was in agony for the two weeks until they took them out, and I needed a lot of freezing for them to be able to do it. My scar seems to have healed very nicely, and people say it's hard to find, but I also developed several cysts in the scar as it healed that the dermatologist had to remove for me.
I'm so happy it all seems to have grown for you! I have a little patch on my left where nothing much grew, but the rest filled in pretty well. It's curling into my eyes a lot now! New enemies while I try to do my eyeshadow and liner (not that I'm complaining).

@@HollyDawna I didn't have any staples they used dissolvable stitches for me but it was very painful in the healing process. If I lift my hair up at the back you can kind of see the scar but like you its not easy to find. Lol yes mine is at that awkward length now too I always have to wear a headband to keep it out my face. 🧡

Yes ha ha. I’m originally from the Midlands so we switched northern/southern pronunciation a lot: grass/grarss, bath/barth etc. but you managed north+south in one word. So instead of transplant/trarnsplarnt you said transplarnt.

The worst part is when you don't have enough hair to even consider this option. I tried wigs, but that was sensory hell, so they were a dreadful option for me. I mostly rely on chemo wear everyday. Which... I somehow make that work. I actually have to shave my head every week, otherwise I feel disgustingly dysphoric if I don't.

Unfortunately I have a bad widows peak at 40 and didn't care about it until I realised I'm gender fluid and want to present more feminine. Now I hate it and want to shave all my long curly hair off so I can just use wigs but that also gives me anxiety. I'd would never afford a hair transplant so I'll just have to get used to wigs. Thanks for sharing your story

Very small hairline recession can be fixed with one year of microneedling, minoxidil, scalp massage and red light therapy, especially when your testosterone is suppressed. The kind of hairline recession you had looked fixable without surgery.

@@MalibuBarbiieDelish Bryan Johnson achieved a lot of hair restoration with these methods, even though he does not suppress his T. If they didn't work for you, then it is possible that you might have had too much skin thinning on those spots to support hair regrowth.

@@MalibuBarbiieDelish I think it is also important with hair transplants that you at least halt the loss of hair before the transplant and get to the point where your hairline is stable, but you have reached a hard limit on how much hair you can regain.
There are examples of people who had hair transplants, but then continued to lose hair behind the transplant, which is an aesthetic catastrophe.
