i keep watching this on repeat at different speeds and it keeps getting better and better. this man went from being on the floor to standing up, lifting dani, spinning her, and transitioned her onto his thighs so that they can walk as a big zombie/mummy during the “zombie” part of the song. i mean!!! the genius of dani! the support jason gave her! the way he stayed in character and made it a part of the performance! how this got no 10s is beyond me
Yes he stayed in character during the critiques and when getting the scores, that was pretty cool. Very interesting routine!
Daniella as a choreographer is in a league of her own. Amazing every single season

That’s outstanding routine and performance gotta to be a 10 across the board!!! Probably one of the best contemporary choreography I’ve seen both on DWTS.

Honestly, think he started the competition with a bang, and he's so good and throws himself into it, that they're being really picky. He flows beautifully with Dani. It is like music like Carrie Ann said last week.

Most underscored routine of the night ! Also , the choreography for this contemporsry was spot on ...the other one had mainly lifts the entire dance no contenporary at all...

Because they opened, had they gone later in the night I guarantee they would have had at least one 10

@@RondaBernstein in a lot of their promo stuff on the Instagram and even in the dance they are wrapped in tape. Even in the dance Daniella is wrapped in white bands

Wow. Outstanding performance and inspired choreography and costuming. I absolutely loved the use of a reflective floor to give the illusion of both of them emerging from a hole in the earth. Jason has so many unsung abilities and qualities, such as strength and modesty. No need for him to show off his torso: he looked plenty scary in the costume they devised for him. Had they not danced first, I'm sure he'd have been given at least one 10.

It really hindered them going first. This was a 10 routine- best of the night in my opinion along with Xochitl. Or fine, if they want to criticize every little detail give them the 9s, but others’ scores have to reflect the difference in skill, technique, and performance. Xochitl also had a little fumble and Ariana could work on refinement a bit but were given 10s. THAT IS NO HATE TO THEM, those are my girls and frankly my top 3! But how is Harry getting only 2 points less than these couples? Again no hate, I just need the judging to make sense!! PHENOMENAL JOB JASON AND DANI! 🧟♂️ every 👏🏼 week👏🏼

I thought it was a 10 I loved it.
This one made me think about the Halloween night contemporary that Daniella did with Iman Shumpert. She really is excellent at creating really complex and interesting contemporary routines that tell an intense story.

This had the potential to be an EPIC contemporary and it would have been had he not made those mistakes. They were evident too. But it looked like the type one would make if they were nervous (not unstable or anything just nerves). Maybe going first got the best of him but Jason is still amazing. And Daniella, she's just wow. They're my favorite couple after Xochitl & Val. =)

The word is "Zombie" when the late Dolores O'Riordan cruise with that halloween hit, Two zombies named Jason Marz and his creature and partner Daniella Karagach were rising while walking from the dead. It was to the scene of Night of The Living Dead and Plan 9 From Outer Space in the contemporary. When they moved their feet, the judges sees the rise....Derek thought the side-by-side dropping the energy a bit, Niecy was connected to the whole time, Bruno could feel the struggle and torments of the creature. These four 9s for a total of 36 out of 40 makes sure of the way Carrie Ann calls it amazing. he expresses every beat of the choreography, but he wasn't grounded as he usually is.......next from the walking dead to....
If he doesn’t win I think this will be my last straw.
Jason and Daniella were fire! 🔥 Daniella’s choreography always has a way of elevating the male celebrity, never hiding his weaknesses. But rather showing strengths and true partnership. And where can I buy this rendition of “Zombie”? LOVE IT!

Is it just me or are they being VERY picky with Jason. Like how has this man not gotten one 10 yet. It’s so weird. I also thought he should have won the marathon dance.

My only thinking is something similar to what happened to me in school. I got a 99/100% on a 12 page paper and asked the teacher “why didn’t you give me 100%?” She said “because if I did, you wouldn’t feel the need to always try to improve and go further.” That is sound advice that I still keep with me to this day. Maybe that’s what they’re doing with Jason. Keep making him hungry to improve even if he’s already at a high level.
Jason and Daniella are my favorite to win this season! However, there are two very strong contenders and ironically one of them is Pasha's partner 😂

They used the song Zombie… And they’re dressed like MUMMIES.

Mummies are wrapped in tape. They are dressed like Zombies.
