I wanna know the experience about using it with the external SSD because the model base of 256GB storage is not gonna be enough. Will it be a stumble while using it. I plan to get the base model for myself too. Thank you for sharing a wonderful experience.
I hate this button underneath, is there still a speaker? cos my M1 mac mini got me nevervous with the sound... The Mac always been in advance and you could speak to your mac long time ago, AI is just a game for those who spend time pluged to the internet but that doesn't make much changes than before as I doubt many speak to their computer unless you have disability.

@@steveblanchard7293 I'm commenting from a perspective of 2019 intel iMac user (6-core i5-9600k only). In my case, the base model is perfect I'll just need to add for 24gb unified memory. I don't overestimate my needs and I don't underestimate the capabilities of Mac computers, it's a value for me for another 5-6 years.

Are you sure? geekbench single core imac 3777 mac mini 3889 - your concerned at a 112 improvement in single core, or difference of 159 for multi core? Thats pretty much identical.

Dude you didn’t even press the power button before you unplugged the old mini 🤣 the power button being in the bottom won’t be a problem for the majority of people because they will do the exact same thing!

The people that are making a stink about the Mac mini power button have to be PC users. Mac users rarely have to use the power button. The M4 Mac mini power button location is no big deal. My BTO version will be here soon. Very excited!

The base model would be enough, TB4 is very fast for expanded storage.
