Just did a $30 grocery haul challenge for 1-2 people for 1 week. It's just me. It will take me 10-12 days to eat all this food. Healthy and Hardy. Your dish looks fantastic.
I find the canned meats a little on the expensive side. But in case of an emergence it’s important to keep some in the pantry. So I am trying to build up a combination of various types of canned meat and fish in my pantry. Thing is, you then need to actually use the canned meats so nothing in the pantry is wasted. I try to max out my groceries on my pension fixed income budget. So I try to max it out at 35 dollars a week, but that’s a max. I really only want to spend 25 dollars a week. So recipes like this are great. Because as I am getting older my appetite is less. Plus, I find I don’t any longer want to spend my time in the kitchen. I would rather be doing other things. So I enjoy the simplicity of these kinds of recipes.
@jackiehorn3724 Yes, canned meats are great to have on hand in case of an emergency situation. If nothing else you can make a great chicken salad with canned chicken.
Yum. I will try this dish
@@LindaMoganOsborne-dm9cc I hope you enjoy it!
Never thought to bake instant potatoes. Will definitely try this recipe. I can’t wait!!!

Oh that's awesome !
Idahohoan tastes like homemade to me. Or as close as you can get!
I have to agree!
Quick, easy, tastes good. What more can you ask for. Those 2 ingredient biscuits look real good.
Thank you! If you knead the dough just a little bit it will make them flakier. I skipped that step with these. They are delicious though❤️
Excellent. I believe I have all of these ingredients. Not for the biscuit, but for the casserole. Yummy.
Thank you!
Thanks for the great video.
You're welcome! Thank you for watching❤️
Thank you. I will try this dish.
Hope you enjoy

What is it with garlic powder? You either get 3 granules or enough to scare off every vampire in a three mile area - no in between! Must be a curse...
🤣🤣
I’ve never seen canned roast beef in any of the supermarkets in my city (large Canadian city). Maybe it’s just not a popular enough item here?
Oh goodness, it may not be. You could use canned chicken also and maybe make a gravy with it.
I would add a thin layer of grated cheddar cheese on top before browning. I like cheese.
