    The bills one up the jets. They have the better OL and QB at this stage.

    Great pickup by the Jets

    I like how the Jets are literally 5-1 if just ONE play is different per game. You're telling me having another wide receiver you trust and have chemistry with isn't worth that ONE extra play? Come on now...

      Rodgers and adams were both better in GB and couldn't get out the weaker nfc

    • @TheAeroRising
      @TheAeroRising Месяц назад

      @@ShawnReed-ny1hd different years. Different division. Different players. Etc etc. I don’t even make my weekly picks based on what happened the prior week, let alone previous years. Also, I didn’t say they would win the Super Bowl. My point is having Adams is a difference and makes them better. Lazard leads league in Drops. Every time Rodgers throws to Williams something bad happens. One more weapon will open things up. They have lost 3 of 4 games by like 3 points. Sh*t Greg Z their kicker just makes his kicks and they’re 4-2. Jets are good enough to make the playoffs. Once you’re in, you never know what can happen. (Not at all a Jets fan by the way)

      They have a cupcake schedule so have a chance to make the playoffs. What difference does it make if the Jets get knocked out of the playoffs first round? Do you or Woody think it's worth spending all this money on a first round exit? It might be I suppose if it gets Erin to reup and they get Adams to play for less money next year but don't bet money on that happening. This is all also if 40 year old Erin can stay healthy enough to play.

    • @markkostka6897
      @markkostka6897 Месяц назад

      @@TheAeroRising Different years etc etc doesn't explain why Adams/Rodgers will succeed older when they couldn't younger. If the Jets don't reach the playoffs all this money will be a problem next despite "never know what can happen"
      No one cares about your weekly picks. I would say Vegas does when you blame losses on crazy kicker point swings, they still want their money. This is probably why you seem fixated on a ball dropped or kickers missing kicks on a windy day.

    the jets will regret getting adams because he wants you to throw him the even if he's double or triple teamed. he's nothing but a cancer in a locker room . D adams is very slow and the jets will be worst with him than without him.

    Adams is a compiler, I don't consider him a HOF'er. He's never been _the_ best WR n the league, he's been _one_ of the top 3 or 4 depending on the season. Hall of very good feels appropriate for him

    • @Vic-Vega
      @Vic-Vega Месяц назад

      Andre Johnson was never the BEST receiver in football (more like top 3-4 annually) yet he just got inducted into Canton.
      That's the precedent. I think Adams is gonna get in (eventually).

    • @nolongerblocked6210
      @nolongerblocked6210 Месяц назад +1

      @@Vic-Vega I'm not kidding, I literally was thinking about Andre when I wrote that. Personally, I didn't think he was a HOF'er either... but lately it feels like they're letting in people based strictly off numbers(similar to baseball). Whereas in the past it felt like it was truly great players regardless of their stats or length of career. I'm thinking of players like Gale Sayers, Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Terrell Davis, etc who might not have the length of career or stats but were awesome players. Imo Andre Johnson is a compiler like Adams but I understand why they're getting in... I just don't agree with it

    • @Vic-Vega
      @Vic-Vega Месяц назад

      @@nolongerblocked6210Oh, I totally agree with you. The baseball HOF voters can be real a-holes at times, but you do (usually) have to admire their standards.
      Harold Baines is the only inductee in recent memory where I was like, "Him? Really???".

    • @nolongerblocked6210
      @nolongerblocked6210 Месяц назад

      @@Vic-Vega you're so right, baseball HOF voters can be pedantic a-holes. I'm a lifelong baseball fan, & card collector, & my favorite player to collect growing up in the 80s was Braves star Dale Murphy. Yet he's a 2-time MVP but not in Cooperstown. I'm biased bcuz I like him so let's get that outta the way, but you'd think 2 consecutive MVP's('82 & '83) & a player who's 2nd in HR's & 3rd in RBI's for the decade of the 80s would deserve that honor. Murphy dominated a decade, but nope.. not good enough for the HOF voters. Stats are important, but imo HOF voters should be using the eye test besides the numbers for football & baseball

    • @Vic-Vega
      @Vic-Vega Месяц назад +1

      @@nolongerblocked6210Yeah, I think Murphy is sort of borderline, but his peak in the early '80s was inarguably higher than Baines. DM also an underrated defender & base-stealer, too.
      I'd put him in, personally.
