Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) are peripheral blood cells, mainly consisting of lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, NK cells) and monocytes. PBMCs play critical roles in the immune system and are widely used in various research fields such as immunology, microbiology, virology, hematological malignancies, vaccine development, transplant immunology, and high-throughput screening.
In this video, T cell image was taken by the HT-X1 - a Holotomography imaging system with an integrated 4-channel fluorescent light engine that provides a combined approach to understand not only the 3D structure and optical properties of the sample but also its molecular-specific details.
