The wheels you have are my absolute favorite. They're exactly the kind I'd want to put on my 335i sedan. Right now I still am running on the piano caster-sized default ones.
+TVTara The engine light came on and not the temperature light? Having the engine light on after pushing the car hard can indicate clogged VANOS valves.
+Xantosuex I am pretty sure only the engine light and it went away after I stopped. My mechanic was there and no codes came up. But thanks, good to know.
+TVTara Does sound like VANOS. A normal OBDII code reader won't be able to pull special BMW codes up. If the check engine light goes away, its actually still stored in the computer in the ECU/DME module. You would need BMW INPA to pull these out. Maybe you could do a DIY video on that :D

Anyway, are you planning on any engine mods (like charge pipe, down pipe, intercooler, oil cooler, inlets, etc.)?

It`s a blast.Yes I have gone back once for track time and plus every summer when the Grand Prix of Mosport race rolls into town I go to that race and all us corvette guys and gals get to do 2 parade laps around the track. The BMW`s also get to do a parade lap. If your ever in town one summer you should check it out. Its a fun weekend :)

TVTara Cool! Have you thought about upgrading to steel braided lines? That would help on the track. I upgraded my brake and clutch lines to steel braided on my bike for track days and it was a big improvement.

You say that yet you had no problem driving your 150 mph sports car on a race track at high speed with a set of Chinese replica wheels and cheapo tuner lug nuts which if they had cracked under the stress while driving around a bend at race track speeds could have cost you your life!

The 2007 N54's are notorious for their engine overheat issues with tracking. How was managing the temperatures while pushing the car hard?
