KOTD is definitely top 3 battle leagues under URL, KOTD worked its way up and now deserves the recognition you have top tier battlers from URL representing KOTD now like Head ICE, Math Hoffa and Geechi Gotti just to name a few. And KOTD has the best video editing and lighting on the stage!

you have brought up some good points, so ill give u my list, in no particular order:- real deal, mosh jelton, okwerdz, madness, j. storm, dumbfoundead, thesaurus, pumpkinhead, nocando, illmaculate....maybe even fresco on top form. there are obviously a lot of variables (like some only had 1 battle) but i genuinely believe in a FAIRLY JUDGED 3 round battle on neutral ground these 11 GT battlers would lyrically top lock....possibly even guys like dizaster and passwurdz in rematches.

i didnt kno who really own on this battle but watching part 2 really made me think locksmith one because he was talkin bout how all johnny does is make jokes but none of his shyt is facts and everything johnny was saying was jus basically jokes!! locksmith rhymes was mastering both jokes and factual shyt!! so i think after watching both parts locksmith won!!
Locks music gives perspective in a way but ur technically right there... With respect to ur promo comment it shouldn't matter. The whole idea of these rap battles is to attract interest to ur music as a rapper. The ultimate result shouldn't have wieght cause its all about the music. Lock does these battles because he likes it not because he wants to brag about wins and loses. He wins in that respect cause he shows his maturity about his career.Besides no1 is forcing ppl to rap against Lock.

I think the 4 judge format is played out, too many cats get jerked (read: Volumes 7-10 of KOTD). Their should be a voting system like KOTD did with Organik/HFK.

Respect to both Lock and to Storm, but I would say if this is the O.T. then storm lost. the KOTD line was nice. a lot of shit that was dope. It was one of the better battles. Props to both lock and to Storm, they are probably two of the better emcee's in the League right now. LOL @ Lock clowning on Diz.
@alexfree88 Now we get very well writtens with freestyle flips and observations. no instrumentals lets the emcee control the cadence, rhythm and HIS timing. also, makes voice projection a key element. Now emcees are forced to bring it all and thats way better than barely hearing sloppy rhymes over someone else's beats, which is what we had at least 50% of the time. Props to how it started. But MUCH PROPS to where we are now!
Holy shit, didn't disappoint! I'm leaning towards JS in 3. No one needs to exaggerate and say this guy got murdered or that got decapitated. JS edged it out! Locksmith in OT though, he got that, but not the first 3.
