I think this Home has so much Character ! I love it. The Teal Blue is pretty too. I would repaint it same Color and paint the Stairs Creamy Yellow. I would put a fence up in the back yard. I love the Kitchen and the sink in the Bedroom. No need to run to the bathroom to wash your hands.....lol or make your Tea. The Basement might be what stops people from buying it, depending on the issue down there. The Fireplace has had it, but you could just put candles inside with a nice fancy candle Holder. Overall I give this House a 9 out of 10.

If I had this house, I think I would move the all bedrooms back to one side. I would expand the kitchen into the addition and put a family room there all at one level. I like the blue color and the basement has a lot of potential.

I’m thinking that pass through room with the mural was probably used as a dining room. It is right off the kitchen and I could see that closet that had shelves in it being used as a china cabinet.

Previous owners were European. The kitchen type and vanity in the master is a good indicator.

    Love the unique layout

The space is awkward, and the neglect plus the fixes required to make the rooms all work together makes me think that just demolishing the house and starting fresh might be cheaper. Also, why does a house that size meant to be inhabited by that many people NOT have a garage? In the Midwest we'd expect a two car garage with a house that big.

Stop making suggestions about how to lay out the furniture or remodel these properties. Your ideas are idiotic.

My apologies sweetie. I'm old and don't have any patience for nonsense.
I watched another one of his videos, and he kept suggesting to tear out all of the walls in a perfectly fine and roomy layout of the kitchen and dining room.

Didnt clean it up? Well it is that time of year where everything looks nasty. You dont sell things well do you. The back yard is wonderful! Think of all the things you can do including levels. If a person likes to garden they can create a garden that can be a huge something beautiful. Even the shed! I love it. Bring it towards the house so it is more useable or leave and aim the nice garden at it. It can be an office or craft area.
Inside, add ceiling fans. Bathroom knock out where the closet is in the living room and put in a new tub/shower.
Your style doesnt matter. It is understandable that it would need new paint. Kitchen. Knock out the wall and create a country kitchen leading into a family room.
The master bedroom. I have seen tubs in the bedroom.
I would rip out the entire end with the kitchen. create a large country kitchen down there with cathedral ceilings. It would be a nice place if people have the money to redo the entire thing. Lots of ideas there

I'm guessing that this was a flip house that ran out of money. Basement looks like it had water, probably from the downspouts. That 'master' bedroom?! How would you get a full or bigger mattress into it?

Having a sink in a bedroom is a throwback. Maybe they were going for that.

I had that in a 1970's built apartment I lived in in the late 1990's, early 2000's 😄

I had a cousin down south that rented out a house built in subdivision that was built in the '70s. My understanding was that the sink vanity in the bedroom was throughout all the houses masters in that subdivision.

Kitchen looked like a renovation that used to be a “Breezeway”.

    • @ForeclosureFinder

Part of me thinks that as well looking back on the property. Maybe the garage was converted to living space and the kitchen now could have been the old breezeway between the garage and main home.

Maybe they had a daycare in that room w a sink. Its right next to the kitchen so it would make sense. Especially with that funky storage place downstairs that kids could play in.

Could be. Always fun to think about the puzzle and how these properties may have been used in the past.

Kind of a tri-level with a daylight basement. Not a bad house, wouldn’t take it on as a flip though, but that is my opinion. Suggest: give property orientation when you do the outside walk around. Thanks for the video!👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
