omg i completed this book like half an hour ago and i am still crying . good luck for circe . i actually read circe before song of achilles and loved it .
circe is an another book of greek mythology from same author. although its totally different from each other but if you are new in greek mythology its a good book to start with .@@srishank61
I loved your review, honestly I felt the same and I cried for days after I finished the book. Truly the most beautiful (yet devastating) book I’ve ever read! I can’t help but want more, I wish to see some kind of adaptation or maybe another book exploring Patroclus’s point of view after everything that happened maybe in a reincarnation or something 🙏🏼
I just finished the book and I didnt cry.i feel like I've been trapped somewhere...my heart aches and feels heavy..like I've been collecting all my tears in there...idk this book was something else..it's great ❤️🩹
I cried a lot. Like i was constantly crying last three chapters. I somehow found myself in patroculus. I don't know why, maybe cause i also lost my Achilles. Whenever i go to last pages i cry. Even after years i may cry.
I'm so happy you're getting into Greek Mythology ❤️ IMO you should read Percy Jackson series first Rick Riordan has done such a great job. You'll literally enjoy the book, the characters Riordan's wit and so much about Greek Mythology in a very cheerful way.
Oh, I have had this book on my shelf for more than a year now. I must look forward to starting to read this one soon. The review is lovelyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!
I started listening to it as an audiobook, then lost the track, stopped and decided that I want to have the reading experience. The writing style is beautiful ♥️It's to die for. As much as I have read it, it's enchanting.
Great review video 🎉 i agree with everything, This book is just everything for me, i completed it within 2 to 3 days, because i couldn't do anything, it's so immersive, i was so invested, that ending line is so satisfying, knowing that they'll be together forever in underworld
@@ellz223 why would she cast brad sh*t..... I don't want to see a 60yr old achilles.... Besides he played his horrible depiction of Achilles already in that god awful troy.... No thanx....
I ordered this beautiful hardcopy from Amazon, it's supposed to come on Sunday. Can't wait to read it after watching your video. As I can totally relate to you Anchal on this book.
I was procrastinating reading this book for quiet some time now, but now i picked the book, got in my bed, took my pencil and blanket and now i shall start the book😂❤
I borrowed it from my friend and currently half way through it...the book is kinda emotional at the points ngl and i know the rest of the book will be emotional too 😭 but one thing of sure the book is so descriptive i can literally imagine the scenes of their life in mind so easily XD
I pause at 7:28. 60 pages left I don't want to go further and see the video because i know the havoc it will create on you. I know what havoc it will have on me..
I had started reading it some time back but the names & the background seemed so confusing I DNF it. Then a few days back I had this huge urge of re reading it again so this time I borrowed Iliad from my sister 😭😂 & currently reading that so I am able to enjoy this book more. Thanks Anchal for giving me the enthu to actually finish Iliad ASAP & start with this gem of a book finally 🥺
@@anchalrani_ it's not bad actually. I thought it would be very difficult to understand but it is actually quite easy. Obviously it isn't very fast paced like any other ancient classics & the descriptive parts get a little boring at times but otherwise it's nice 😊
I just bought this book today itself and then saw your notification on Instagram. Was eagerly waiting for this video and now I'm ready to get my heart shattered.
Your consistency is commendable. As a fellow book lover, I look forward to every video you post and keep a note of the many books you recommend 😊. . . Keep growing 🌻

Thank you so much for giving ur views on this book coz I will read it next year after my exams are over and also thank you so much for saying how the movie A man called Otto was coz I read the book and I literally laughed and cried so hard while reading it and now I am excited to watch the movie but didn't want to disappoint myself if the movie was not up to the mark but it seems I would love the movie just like the book❤❤❤
I don't know what to say..firstly you did a great job with annotating the book, it looks so good! & secondly the way you share your view it just makes it feel very relatable, I kinda read to know why you reacted the way you reacted ...But, I just finished reading the Shiva trilogy and I cried, because thats not how I thought it would end .. I knew what happens with sati.. but I was expecting the emergence of parvati..or something else to happen Idk.. so keeping in mind the impact of that book.. I might not read The song of Achillies now.. maybe by the end of this year ..
I'm sorry to say this...I don't like this book so much... its so boring time to time... I had huge expectations from this book by the hype of this book but it shattered my expectations. Yes I know my view is different from rest but I am being honest....Good to know that you like this book.
Hello Didi, I always love watching your videos you make such relatable video for teenagers, and with your recommendations I have read some awesome gems.🥰 Can you tell me di for what rate you got circe and song of Achilles so we can tally the rate
Hehe i was the same. But have started annotations since my last read. ‘To kill a mockingbird’ and i must say I understood the book much better due to annotations. I think the heavier books can be grasped much better while annotating. 😊

God, I would have picked up the book rn but thinking that I have really not go so much ahead in the reading journey. So...I am going to wait for sometime...and will then allow this book to devastate me. Will then share my experience with you on Instagram and please, reply to my messages.
