Description:
Simple strategy in cutting the time for this one: bravery.
Rush one of the imp corridors at the start in order to get to the end (very easy to die in this strat), press the switch
and fight the way back, the imps on the opposite corridor can't hit since their fireballs hit the imps in the current corridor.
This pretty much eliminates any challenge from this starting area. The rest is just dealing with spectres in a dark area, quite genius
section that could definitely see some trimming but... it's basically luck at this point.
The switch finding could be faster but that's okay. The other brave part I did was no longer use the center part as a hiding spot/holdout
zone. Instead, I've decided to just stay out there and fight off the cacos, imps and arachnotrons. In the arachnotron wave, infighting
proved extremely useful. Turning the hordes of imps into paste. The same imps that would torment my every turn in my previous run
as I had no clue how Doom worked back then. The final wave bosses could be majorly improved. Barely any infighting happened and I had
to make do by just constantly and dangerously strafing in a way to get them in a tight group, which almost caused my death by the end
of the demo.
