He honestly already has. In the buzzfeed unsolved Q&As his hot dog saga is that. I'm not sure when in the hot daga the first song is introduced, but people have compiled it so you can watch it all

the fact that when garrett was friends with shane dawson etc they always shouted at him pretty much whenever he spoke because he was just trying to have fun & shit but on puppet history ryan and shane were so happy to have him on the show and listen to him talk :’)
Well, that's Shane Dawson and this is Shane and Ryan, the ghoul boys. I'd rather pick the ghoul boys because they're the real ghoul boys in this town and also because I firmly (/j) believe in the notion that Shane Madej is a demon and nothing is better than a demon.
But in all seriousness, I think Ryan and Shane are happy to have him happy too since that's the type of people they are. They even sang Mamma Mia on a panel once with their fans which is so cool and very heart-warming for me.
What a finale! The utter delight that is Garrett, the terrible accents, the horrifying song, the reappearance of God, and Ryan's look of genuine concern after Garrett shot-gunned those jelly beans. This shall sustain me until the next season
(Oops, accidently forgot to count this one) After the season 4 finale, I thought it would be fun to go back through the other videos and find out the real scores in each to see if Ryan actually won any. This will be focused on the points won during the questions only, not the extra points the professor gives out willy-nilly. Actual Score: Ryan had 1.5 points and Garrett had 5. The guest won fairly
Theory: the “magic of theatre” and the skits are really just the professor time travelling to that exact point in history. The whole puppet history series is just a side gig as he tries to escape the genie.

As someone who knows a lot about the molasses flood, I'm really pleased with how they presented this tragedy. It's so often joked about but it really was a horrific, avoidable tragedy that could have been prevented of not for corporate greed.

when shane sold their souls on unsolved it was to the genie. he posessed shane and trying to get ryan now. the only reason ryans is safe is because his extreme fear of spooks keeps him spiritually defended lol.

Some more things about the Molasses flood. 1) The tank was put in an area mainly full of immigrants especially from Italy and Ireland 2) Because of the population being mainly immigrants the companies were able to avoid any charges and responsibilities for the tank because they were poor and predigest against immigrants 3) Those living in the area often described the tank being like a large looming figure that at first scared them but they soon got used to, but still always noticing their presence 4) It's easily to drown in molasses because of it's think viscosity and sticky nature. It also makes it hard because it would coat your windpipe and was hard to get out 5) Clean up crews had to wait for the molasses to dry before even starting to chip away the damage 6) It was also hard for those in the hospitals because it was so hard to get the molasses off of the people and tools they used ending in infections 7) You can't swim in Molasses. It's way to thick 8) The compony in charge of the tank who should have been held responsible for not testing the tank to make sure it was safe and was able to hold all the molasses didn't face ANY charges or only slight minor ones because Rich compony poor people

I was CRYING through the genie sequence. Eyeliner Shane. “Let’s crack in.” All of this is such quality and I am so very sad that we are at the end of a season.
Garrett is such a sweet person. Him threatening the professor completely threw me off 😂 I didn't know Ryan, Garrett and the professor was a combination i needed until now.
My great-grandmother was born in 1916 and lived in central MA. She told me whenever she was in Boston during hot summer days as a young woman, the whole city would smell a like molasses, as some was still stuck in cracks and crevices and would melt in the weather.
I worked at a Sam's Club (in the late 90s), when a co-worker stacked a pallet of heavy hot cocoa mix on top of a pallet of Mrs. Butterworth syrup. After it crashed down (thankfully in the middle of the night, so no one died or was injured), it took a few days to get it mostly cleaned up. But for years, they were still finding sticky goo all over the shelving, and the smell lingered. I can still smell the sickly sweetness, if I think about it. So yeah, I can almost empathize with the people of the North End. Thankfully, I don't have the added baggage of friends and family having died from said flood, or the pandemic, or the war that also recently happened.
It only just dawned on my that this whole thing just has huge Horrible Histories energy, Shane's does such an insane job with this series, it's amazing!
It's so they can see more of the horizon and block out some of the glare of the sun and keep an eye out for predators. It also rotates in their eye socket so that it's always parallel to the ground. It's a pretty neat bit of evolution
For those living outside of the US and a few other countries, this big ol' dump-truck-ass tank had a diameter of 27-and-a-half metres and was just over 15 metres in height. At full capacity, it could store 9.5 million litres.

They need to bring him back!!
He also makes me want some gummy worms. So there's that, too...
28:36 THIS MOMENT when Ryan is shaking his head and Garrett is nodding but they’re both thinking “yeah this is fucked up”
It is
Jovial and A bad time
Ok so with this series Shane is basically telling us that he could easily write a smashing musical but for some reason he just chooses not to...
I never knew how much I wanted to see a full 2 hour musical adventure of the Professor being chased through time by the genie until I read this comment
Maybe he IS writing one and Puppet history is an elaborate advertisement.
He honestly already has. In the buzzfeed unsolved Q&As his hot dog saga is that. I'm not sure when in the hot daga the first song is introduced, but people have compiled it so you can watch it all
@@paperheartsnreal1s hey bud can you send a compilation link
Are you saying that I should send hate mail with a single toenail clipping to his address every single day from now until he decides to write a musical?
Professor: “I think that’s the first death we’ve ever had on this stage.”
Me: Except. You know. Death himself.
And Ryan’s sanity and hope dying in his eyes every-time he’s denied the cup full of jellybeans
which I loved Death's cameo in this one
Not to mention the several hundred chopped up people in the Titanic episode XD
We did it boys. Ryan smiled at the ending song
And it only took a death
When Garrett answered both Flapper girls And Boston Tea Party, I was like, “Honey no. Those are two separate things with YEARS between them.”
not just years, centuries
to Garrett the 1800s took only two months

I am absolutely living for the shade in “The mayor of Boston refused to send immediate aid, instead releasing a statement saying, ‘We love molasses, it’s very special.” 😭💀
Yes!! It's so funny lmao
Wait what's the shade
@Ali It’s a Trump reference
the fact that when garrett was friends with shane dawson etc they always shouted at him pretty much whenever he spoke because he was just trying to have fun & shit but on puppet history ryan and shane were so happy to have him on the show and listen to him talk :’)
I know, they treated him so badly, I loved seeing him so happy in this video, Shane and Ryan were so kind
They even sang Mamma Mia on a panel once with their fans which is so cool and very heart-warming for me.
was just thinking that! it actually just made my world to see garrett being himself and THRIVING ! bless him.
well yeah, shane dawson's a piece of shit. Ryan and Shane are really nice, so they'd obviously be happy to have Garrett
As a Southerner living in Boston, I see Garrett's Boston accent as pure perfection.
It‘s you, the Exact Specific Demographic
What a finale! The utter delight that is Garrett, the terrible accents, the horrifying song, the reappearance of God, and Ryan's look of genuine concern after Garrett shot-gunned those jelly beans. This shall sustain me until the next season
The way Shane made God say, "mm yeah" in such disinterest is such a mood
Who is this Shane person everyone keeps on talking about? That is clearly God themselves. >B/
"your spine is blue as well, professor ?" "oh i'm ALL blue baby" "ok weird 😐"
GOODBYE
If the professor is all blue, then he also got blue blood... Which means he's royal :eyes:
Shane’s brain seems like a fun place to live
U gon get trapped like a little canary
Holly crap that final song was almost like something straight out of a “Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared” parody
Miss, you won the comment section
Garret’s face when he realized that they were getting a bonus musical number is everything.
The fact that Shane was nice to Garrett when he forgot what letter his answer was instead of making fun of him makes me smile. idk it just does lol
Shane seems like such a cool dude, honestly
after seeing the *other* shane be so mean to garrett every time he got excited or forgetful or anything, its so fkn refreshing, ghoul boys for life
(Oops, accidently forgot to count this one)
After the season 4 finale, I thought it would be fun to go back through the other videos and find out the real scores in each to see if Ryan actually won any. This will be focused on the points won during the questions only, not the extra points the professor gives out willy-nilly.
Actual Score: Ryan had 1.5 points and Garrett had 5. The guest won fairly
had Ryan won any?
Theory: the “magic of theatre” and the skits are really just the professor time travelling to that exact point in history. The whole puppet history series is just a side gig as he tries to escape the genie.
Yes I just also have the same theory as The Professor has seen everything in history and these are the times he’s messed things up
@@toobeast5485 what if the Professor is telling us what happened after he intervened? Like, he's time travelling and accidentally putting things right that have got all twisted up and messed up in the timeline?
What if the Professor is.... a Time Puppet?? 'Professor' is one of Dr Who's nick-names ....
And the musical numbers?
@@greatvalue_ethelcain Well, in the whole genie skits we had (wich was adorable btw) we see that by traveling and messing with time, the professor turned some things nd beings into puppets, possibly by giving them jellybeans, just like he did with Garrick.
So the songs might be the things and being the professor brought to puppet form being invited for the show to tell their stories as musical guests!
@@lollabunyxxx Does that mean he turned god into a puppet? did god receive a jelly bean?
the death puppet running past at 27:51 right before the horse dies was actually such a nice detail
Shane’s personal vendetta with god, genies and the idea of death did not totally shine through today😂
garret is genuinely my favorite guest on puppet history, he has such an energy that works with both ryan and the professor
garrett - “you better watch your back”
the professor - “this has never happened before👁👄👁”
the girls are unioniziiing
As someone who knows a lot about the molasses flood, I'm really pleased with how they presented this tragedy. It's so often joked about but it really was a horrific, avoidable tragedy that could have been prevented of not for corporate greed.
A tale as old as time sadly.
Good thing we live in the future where preventable problems are always prevented and no one ever gets lazy or complacent.
Yep. Glad we don’t have to deal with strange and preventable issues.
Mhm.
One of my favorite stories of Boston. It's an incredibly terrifying story but it just doesn't seem real!
As usual, the real villain of this story is capitalism.
@@kingalfred2014 why is it always capitalism ☹️
Theory: season finale for next season they have Shane as the guest, Ryan wins, Shane turns into the genie and it turns out its all a ploy for ryans soul
Omg that’s amazing!
when shane sold their souls on unsolved it was to the genie. he posessed shane and trying to get ryan now. the only reason ryans is safe is because his extreme fear of spooks keeps him spiritually defended lol.
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
That seems more like a series finale instead of a season finale, and I'm not emotionally prepared for Puppet History to be only four seasons.
Does this mean the Professor was just trying to save him!? He really does care
i feel like the leaks prevented it from bursting as the professor mentioned someone came in and fixed the leaks shortly before it broke
right!! i think the whole thing being tightly sealed would make the pressure & subsequent explosion worse lol
As a current history major in college, I am constantly reading and writing about history, which can be tiring. These videos are a great reminder that history can be fun and brings me joy that reminds me of why I love history. So please never stop Puppet History.
Hopefully you’ll be able to do something with your history major that pays it forward and helps make history fun for the next generation! Best wishes!
First video of the season I made a comment about how the graphics were looking so good and I just want to give a final shout out to animators Mike Fox and Julia Capuano and graphic artist Crystal Cheng because everything has looked SO GOOD throughout the season
they popped off so hard this season!!
they aimed for a boston accent but Garrett ended up doing a southern accent and Ryan ended up with a New Yorker gansta one LMAO
also are we all just gonna ignore that shane is the genie lol
The genie, what do you think is his deal?

Puppet History season 4 idea: Ryan finally wins the history cup, eats the beans, and then turns into a fuzzy [insert Ryan's favorite colour] puppet and ends up trapped in the same stage hellscape as the Professor
YES
Wait. Consider. He wins the cup, eats the beans...._becomes the professor._ And that's why the Professor never let him win--cause he's Ryan's future muppet self... and he's been _teaching himself these stories to tell to keep the timeline stable_

As a MA resident, they STILL say to this day you can smell molasses on a hot day in the north end
The phrase, "...Or I guess we'll send you to Horse Hell if you were a Horse Bigot," has sent me into hysterics.
This is one of those historical events that sounds comical at first, but turns out to be utterly horrifying when you actually look into it.
Some more things about the Molasses flood.
1) The tank was put in an area mainly full of immigrants especially from Italy and Ireland
2) Because of the population being mainly immigrants the companies were able to avoid any charges and responsibilities for the tank because they were poor and predigest against immigrants
3) Those living in the area often described the tank being like a large looming figure that at first scared them but they soon got used to, but still always noticing their presence
4) It's easily to drown in molasses because of it's think viscosity and sticky nature. It also makes it hard because it would coat your windpipe and was hard to get out
5) Clean up crews had to wait for the molasses to dry before even starting to chip away the damage
6) It was also hard for those in the hospitals because it was so hard to get the molasses off of the people and tools they used ending in infections
7) You can't swim in Molasses. It's way to thick
8) The compony in charge of the tank who should have been held responsible for not testing the tank to make sure it was safe and was able to hold all the molasses didn't face ANY charges or only slight minor ones because Rich compony poor people

Did she mention anything else of interest? That’s really cool.

For those living outside of the US and a few other countries, this big ol' dump-truck-ass tank had a diameter of 27-and-a-half metres and was just over 15 metres in height. At full capacity, it could store 9.5 million litres.
That musical number was AMAZING. Absolutely EXTRAORDINARY what the hell, this series deserves the entire world
