We see a lot of videos on MMRCA contenders but what IAF actually needs? With current scenarios and current IAF fleet, which aircraft suits India the most? My request in simple terms is, if you can make a technical video on what IAF should go for.... More Rafale, LCA Tejas MK2 or any other aircraft.....

It's not only about size, its about weight and the arrangement also... That engine requires, more air to produce more thrust, so the redesign of air intake is needed, and redesigning air intake means redesigning whole aircraft and arrangement inside, that's why Tejas Mk 2 is a different fighter.

@@sadynasty first thing, Wikipedia is no fact page, people can update, so it has limited information or sometimes old information, second thing is the GE414 variant which is there is not the one which will be on tejas, third is changing air intake is not that easy, because it's not only about increasing the size of intake, it's about making changes inside intake too, which has many things, and also when you increase the size, you have to rearrange the space inside for different equipment because the arrangement is very tight, fourth is the calculation of FCS change with powerplant because the aircraft start behaving differently, so if that much work is needed to be done, why not new aircraft?
