    Dear Sir, If order does not exit we say zero or Infinite order. Also In infinite group the order of an element other than identity may be finite. lets take (R-{0}) set of non zero real number with multiplication. then order of (-1) is 2 ,not infinite.

    • @sourabhr2925
      @sourabhr2925 6 лет назад

      Order of -1 is -1 or else 1/-1 which is one and same. Since -1^(-1)=-1*(1/-1)=1

    • @hareeshsgaira1625
      @hareeshsgaira1625 6 лет назад

      @@sourabhr2925 Dear, order can not be negative . so plz check that.

    • @hareeshsgaira1625

      also (-1)^-1 is -1 not 1.
