I loved this arc too.
Martha and Henry’s story really pulled at the heart strings.
They really did. I'm glad they were able to remain such good friends.
In a lesser story, Lucia would've been portrayed as a hate sink or at the very least, those of us feeling the same way as Becky (an understandable impulse since it's natural for us to root for the characters we know and see together the most) would not have been called out by the narrative. I love that Lucia was a lovely person who helped Martha finally live her dream in some capacity, and was respected enough by Martha that she would regularly visit her grave.
If Lucia was a bad person, it would've been easy for us to get mad at her for "stealing Henry away" and wish that Martha stole him back. Even if Lucia was just an okay person, she wouldn't deserve to have some woman come along and try to steal her man, but we as the audience wouldn't care because we don't know her like we know Martha. It's lovely to see that even though this outcome hurt Martha, she was able to accept it and move on. She got to dance on stage finally, and it sounds like she got to not only keep her friendship with Henry, but also found a lovely friendship in Lucia. Martha is such a good role model for Becky here.
Also I do find it interesting how Becky is complaining about stupid adults doing stupid wars without an ounce of self-awareness for how her family are essentially war profiteers. The insanely luxurious life she has was likely FUNDED by the wars Martha and Loid fought and suffered in, and I'm hoping that Becky will eventually come to realise that and grapple with it. Maybe she'll even meet the family of Lucia (who could be continuing the uncle's legacy of rebuilding after war) and they'll be the one to point that out to Becky. I can see Becky falling into the trap of thinking "But my family did what they had to to keep Ostania safe from the evil Westalis!" to try and justify that cognitive dissonance between her values and the life she has, but I like to hope that she will eventually come around and maybe in the epilogue, we'll see how she reshaped the Blackbell Corporation and invested its resources into peace projects. She no longer lives an ultra-luxurious life, but she does live a comfortable one.
@@CoraMaria Becky will have the time to mature and grow. Martha is doing the best to raise her up right. 😊
A bittersweet but beautiful conclusion for the current "Memories of War" arc, glad Martha found a new purpose of her life, even that wasn't a reunion she wanted. She supported Henderson's choice and completed her ballet wish in a different way. The funniest thing in this chapter was Becky's reaction, how she listened like a love drama that she always enjoyed on television instead as a life lesson, her best line was "why didn't you steal him back???"
Also, Martha confirmed there was a second east-west war took place afterwards, which happened in Loid's childhood, means SPY X FAMILY also based on the real world with two world war, only in a much small scale, explained why we saw same WWI tanks during previous chapters.
Yeah, I noticed the mention of the second war. 👀
I'm excited to see more of that flashback in the future.
Endo really pulled a 180 on us the story is great and I love how it handles things its an all in one good fights and great world building Also ur videos r great I love how u explain the story really useful for when I dont wanna read but still want to enjoy the manga❤

For a comedy series the show is very "Real"
The graveyard might’ve been Mr. Henderson’s wife’s grave. This would make sense for the friendship between Martha and Mr. Henderson.
A short mission between Anya and Demetris, where they both meet in library and Anya trying to get a manga on a un-reachable shelf. Anya could mind read his non-verbal dialogue. Syon-boi could also be there in the background peeking on the unusual scene.
