    I noticed you have a piece of colored tape on your tools, what is that for? Another interesting, and easy to follow tutorial, thank you for sharing. Wishing the best to you and yours.

      WigWagWorkshop I use the tape to easily identify my tools at the end of a workshop where they may have been loaned out. It is so easy for folks in a hurry to pack to not pay close attention to what they they are packing. The tape makes it easier to spot my tools.

    Do you think it’s ok to glue two pieces of maple wood to make it 2x2 or should I use a solid piece of blank wood

      I have seen pictures of beautiful segmented ones. If you have not done glueups before, though, I do not think this is a project to learn that on. Always put aside spindle stock to dry so you will have a supply. It could be cherry or whatever. You can also buy a bpiec of 8/4 at the lumber yard. You could use up an 8 ft piece on a lot of different projects but it might take a while. Tool handles, tops, boxes, etc.
