Be careful using shampoos with sealants in them in the foam cannon. I wrecked 2 foam cannons to learn this lesson. The sealant will fill the metal filter that creates the foam and hardens in it. Once it does, it will block the filter completelly and the foam cannon will no longer be able to spray. It can be fixed by doing a complete disasembly of the foam cannon and boiling the filter to remove the sealant.
Look online and you'll find new mesh filters, just measure it's width and thickness. I've been down that road and actually boiled them to clear the muck. It took a couple of boilings to bring them back, sort of did the job which is when I found out about replacement filters.
You should be disassembling the cannon and cleaning the mesh pellet regularly anyway as the soap left over if not PROPERLY rinsed out as soon as you have finished foaming WILL start to block it up.
I use the Turtle Wax Ceramic shampoo (£10.99 Amazon). It's for maintenance washes to top up the Turtle wax Ceramic spray. Like that shampoo zeros suds, but blimey does it add extra oommp. Turtle wax state not to rinse off with a pressure washer but to hose of gently. Good video BTW.👍
I have a black car that has been polished and coated with Opticoat Pro+. I give it a hand wash every week and use Gyeon Bathe+ as a ceramic maintenance topper, with fantastic results. The level of hydrophobicity is amazing, vertical sides stay dry and horizontal surfaces form very tiny spherical droplets that fly off the surface with any wind.
Merry Xmas Dave , I’ve come across infinity wax boost, I’m a gyeon wet coat fan but couldn’t get it so decided on the boost the results are just as good, the only difference is boost through a foam cannon but still good
mate, wasn't expecting that....4mins 30 in and the cat turns up on top of the roof - cameo role LOLOLOL...think it liked the smell of the SiO2 product or just wanted to be famous for a few secs. Quality
Very similar to Gtechniq ceramic wash. Been using it for a while, leaves a great finish equalivant i would say to post wash wipe down with a QD. In my experience, using the gtechniq gives about 3 - 4 weeks of decent protection.
I think Infinity are one of the best on the market... i always use the known professional brands, but i think their Spray wax and standard shampoo are crazy good, and the prices are pretty good also. Good bottles as well.
I've been mixing Auto Smart Duet with Aqua Seal pro for a couple of years now for basically the same effect. as im cleaning 10 odd a week at work it speeds the process up a lot!
Kamikaze No.5 anti aging cleanser (I know it sounds like a beauty product lol) apparently removes all coatings including durable ceramic. Edit: I commented before I saw the context of the video, I thought you were using a product that stripped ceramic
This is how i envisioned it. But forensic detail channel did a test of like 10 of these shampoos and he wasnt impressed snd rated most poorly. He said they werent very lubricating while washing and didnt think they were very durable
I used this the other week and my beading seem to be a lot stronger than what yours shows. Unless I just used a lot more product 😅 enjoyed using it though had zero issues.
Thank you for the video Dave. Looks like it's some good stuff. Reminds me of good old Turtle wax 🐢 Hot Wax. Back in the 90s I used the Hot Wax with a big sponge and it used to turn it black. It very effective at giving it a waxed finish though.
I normally avoid 'infused' shampoos like the plague but, there again I also hate washing cars in winter so this looks cracking for a quick winter wash.
Great results, can i ask a question? . I had my car ceramic coated(supposedly) about 8 months ago and i was never happy with the beading, every time i wash the car with a PH neutral shampoo the suds just die instantly even if i use a power washer to foam up the suds in the bucket as soon as i apply the wash mitt onto the car and back into the bucket the suds die ! Any idea's why ?
No matter the shampoo I use, I always spray it on after the snowfoam to give the paint that extra lubricant. I have noticed it lowers contact markers dramatically.
Dont know if ye have herd of tenzi but there here in ireland and there quartz ceramic shampoo is arguably the best I've seen and better than the product you have shown.. I cant flaw it and it lasts
I can't believe as a pro detailer who i respect and enjoy your channel that you're still using ava's rubbish snow foam cannon why aren't you using something like a mjjc V2 foam cannon and get lot's of extra think foam
Its not supposed to be quicker, it's just an alternative method that some people may benefit from in the circumstances mentioned at the beginning of the video 🙏
A spray on rinse would be applied after a wash. This washes and protects in one step. Probably not as good as spray on but not everyone needs the best.
Please dont be mean to Leo. He may end up subscribing to your channel...learning all your tips and secrets and set up a rival detailing business resulting in a hostile takeover of your business.
Considering they don't actually make their own products I would sooner use products from companies that manufacture their own chemicals like infinity wax that have unlimited testing before release 👌

great advice thank you for sharing with the community

I purchased a new one before I learned about it. Might go through the trouble of doing it at some point. @@Iceberg1313
Used a bit of white vinegar cleaned the mesh nicely

I use the turtle wax just like that as well. Brilliant 2in1 for the price
I use TW hybrid solutions black wax for my car and top up with hybrid shampoo, works brilliant
Great video, I'm glad it's not just my cats that go on a car when I cleaned it or just prepped it ready for protection!

As soon as you took Leo off the car, I thought you dunked him the bucket in the next scene 😂 that's a cool cat ❤

Once again another fantastic and informative video Dave

Yeah 100% Absolutely love their products
I've been mixing Auto Smart Duet with Aqua Seal pro for a couple of years now for basically the same effect. as im cleaning 10 odd a week at work it speeds the process up a lot!
Great tip 👏
Love the visit of Leo though 🤣🤣🤣
He loves the studio so hes been getting in many more videos lol
Kamikaze No.5 anti aging cleanser (I know it sounds like a beauty product lol) apparently removes all coatings including durable ceramic.

After the cut at 4:43 it looks for a second like you are washing the car with the cat 😄
I find hamsters are a better option. Fit in your hand nicer. Just remember to trim the nails😂
This is how i envisioned it. But forensic detail channel did a test of like 10 of these shampoos and he wasnt impressed snd rated most poorly. He said they werent very lubricating while washing and didnt think they were very durable
It's a hit and miss category because most people just like protecting the car afterwards
I prefer a lance applied sealant but it's a great way of topping up protection.
Yeah I'm with you
I would suggest being careful with waxy shampoo’s and snow foam that some can dry out the rubber seals around windows and doors
very useful information but ill let infinity respond to this one as they have so much knowledge on the chemical structure. thank you

Armor All have a ceramic wash and TW have a their hybrid ceramic wash as well, I wonder how this compares.
I normally avoid 'infused' shampoos like the plague but, there again I also hate washing cars in winter so this looks cracking for a quick winter wash.
Did it leave any residue or annoying marks on the glass ? if it's not too bad it seems like a good product in the winter months
Nothing bad at all. Left a lovely finish
My missus 😮shouted someone has left a pile of microfibre towels in the kitchen? I told her it was a dead Jedi 😉May the force be with you 😅
😂
Well done David another eye opening video. What on earth is coming next. The valeting world is a fascinating just now. Dad 👍🍺
I wouldn't go that far Dad 😂
🤔😉
Can you and is it worthwhile waxing the car after this process? Many thanks.
With this whole new dry rinse tech by many top brands, any need for the Graphene's and the like? Does look good though).
If you add Autoglanz foam booster to a ceramic shampoo, you get the suds💪
Great results, can i ask a question? . Ceramic on the windscreen is a bad idea though for wiper performance. How did you find it?
No dramas at all I drove it in the rain this morning no squeaking wipers 👌
When I get my TTs window regulators fixed I'll be able to use a foam cannon again. Right now it leaks😢
Just got a TT. What would you say are the top 5 products I should get?
Leo just wanted to give his opinion on the product ❤
It enhanced his coat lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing how to go from CAR detailing to CAT detailing in seconds! xD
Gyeon Bathe+ is the king of sio2 car shampoos , have you tried it ?
Is this formulated to be used with hot or cold water? Newbie question.
Dont know if ye have herd of tenzi but there here in ireland and there quartz ceramic shampoo is arguably the best I've seen and better than the product you have shown.. I cant flaw it and it lasts
What dilution did you use please
I can't believe as a pro detailer who i respect and enjoy your channel that you're still using ava's rubbish snow foam cannon why aren't you using something like a mjjc V2 foam cannon and get lot's of extra think foam
Well done for finally cleaning your TT Dave, but Leo has he replaced your Dad now?😂
to answer that yes lol
Is Bilt hamber shampoo ok?
bilt hamber products are some of the best on the market, auto wash is an excellent shampoo, infinite wax products are right up there as well
You could have offered Leo a sponge to help out 🤣
You can use ADBL Polymer fruit way. Its a ceramic snow foam and works much more effective then this shampoo
Where did you get that bucket setup from
Ava UK link should be in description 🙏
I can't see that being any quicker than using a spray n rinse like gyeon wet cost, which gives far better results.
Its not supposed to be quicker, it's just an alternative method that some people may benefit from in the circumstances mentioned at the beginning of the video 🙏
A spray on rinse would be applied after a wash. This washes and protects in one step. Probably not as good as spray on but not everyone needs the best.
Did you fill your foam cannon reservoir from the bucket of shampoo/water mix or did you make up a specific ratio of shampoo to water separately in it?
Good question I to aske the same , but as yet have not seen an answer.
More of Leo please
Lol he needs his own channel
Snow foam is a proper con
Please dont be mean to Leo.

lol, i love my cat he's more like a spirit guide
Amen to that son. He does have a calming effect on all of us that know him.🙏. Dad👍🍺
I’d rather use autobrite direct ceramic infused shampoo.
Considering they don't actually make their own products I would sooner use products from companies that manufacture their own chemicals like infinity wax that have unlimited testing before release 👌
Forget the beading, i wanna see how easily Leo slides off......
Not as good as traditional wax in terms of beading away water.
3:30 😂😂😂
SiO2 is a body shops nightmare.
I will trade you a hot dry Australian summer for your winter
Come stay at mine, and i will stay at yours

🙄 "sun pooly detect ... " 😪
NO sorry don't like it no where nearly enough water beading
3:30 😂🤢
Turtle wax is way better
Of course it is 😂
@@epicautomotivedetailing yes...! I've used both, this is my opinion. Have you used both? are you biased in ANY way? 🤔🤣
Looks good, similar to Gyeon Bathe plus which i use.
