In Japan, we often see articles and vlogs about eating pizza and pasta, but those about eating tacos is rare. Thanks to this, I learned about good taco eateries. Thank you.
Thanks so much for watching our video and taking the time to leave us this message! We were just craving tacos and woke up on a mission😂. Be sure to check out our Mexico Vlogs for some of our favorite tacos. The Sayulita video is our personal favortie!
¡muchas gracias!
That’s so awesome! We actually just woke up craving tacos and decided to only eat tacos all day😂. They weren’t quite as good as the tacos in Mexico but this was one of our favorite days of our whole trip! Thanks a million for sharing our videos with your squad!💯
I'm an american living in Tokyo. I know nothing about authentic mexican food but we have "White People Taco" Parties once every two weeks so I bought stainless steel taco racks and we love them. Easy to toast, easy to load with fillings and toppings. Still messy to eat, tho. It crumbles in your hand. I'll start using wax paper as a semi wrapper to catch the goodies. I sandwich the shells with two racks to keep them clamming up while toasting, it's an awesome hack.
😂 haha we love this idea! Our friends who were stationed in Okinawa introduced us to taco rice, we love that variation too! Also when we make those types of tacos we call it “making Taco Bell”🌮🔔
@@HeresGoodTravel I was in the Marines in the late 90's. I was stationed at Camp Hansen, Okinawa in 1996, the off base restaurants served Taco Rice & Cheese. I didn't get into it, but it was a fun novelty, so I can put that on my "Done That" list. All I can think of was that those restaurants are given a good deal on surplus US Gov Cheese lol Their crispy fried chicken and rice is to die for! Do a search on the White "People Taco Night" song 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you! We had so much fun filming it! We love eating non-traditional food when we travel, it’s fun to see how they use their local ingredients to recreate something we know totally different. Thanks for watching, appreciate your comment!
I am a Mexican that grew up in california but came back to Mexico to study in a Mexican university. I have been living in Japan sense 2017, I miss LA tacos and street tacos from Mexico. Every Mexican restaurant I've been to in Japan always changes their recipe to match the Japanese pallet. Its always closer to Tex-Mex then Authentic Mexican food. I just want authentic Mexican street tacos, I do not mind paying a premium for it. T.T
Preach! We find that Mexican food is the hardest to come by when international traveling. It’s always a far departure from the authentic stuff. This really was our favorite day but almost made us crave a trip back to Mexico even more!
lol San Diego is so Expensive! 😭 Definitely wait a little until the Yen is stronger. We might be making some San Diego videos this winter. We have some great Japanese food. Thanks for watching as always!
Good tour, and I would like to add my own two cents for your next time in Tokyo... Look up Los Tacos Azules (2 locations), La Cabina Tokyo (Shibuya Area), Cielito Linda (its on Yokohama) and Tacos 3 Hermanos (Harajuku Area). They are all extremly mexican authentic, take it from true mexican hehe. Hope youget to visit Japan and Tokyo again.
Thanks so much! We wish we had these spots for our last visit! We had no intention of filming a video like this but woke up craving tacos😂. We will be sure to try your spots next time we go to Tokyo!
I was watching a video yesterday where someone was saying a lot of restaurants hate tourists cause they dont spend as much as Japanese customers, so I kind of cringed when you were saying how cheap it is lol. Good video though!
That is a really good point. Tokyo is a busy place and as long as you’re courteous to the shop owners and go on off peak times this isn’t an issue. It is expected to order a certain amount and to leave quickly during busier times. Thanks for the reminder and for watching!
Most of the Taco Bells have closed here in Calgary. The only ones left are the ones that are combo restaurants in KFC, and you can't get their full menus, which sucks!
Just went on a taco dinner ride after watching this last night (Gold Coast Australia) not big taco fans but what the hell. Went to GYG. Ride nice , atmosphere nice , flavour nice but tacos were half empty . So still hungry 4/10. Thanks for the great ideas and keep it up.❤
😂🫣 Oh no!!! Half full tacos are never fun! If you watch our Mexico Coty Taco tour we visited a taco spot called El Pescadito and one taco was the size of our heads!😂 We made a mess but they were amazing! Thanks so much for letting us inspire you to head out for a new dining adventure and for leaving us this comment! We’ve been super busy so sorry it took us a while to get back to you! Cheers!
As a Californian American living in Japan, I will never go back to Taco Bell Japan. I have been a few times and was always disappointed so never again. Also they give you fries with a combo, no chips.
We live in California! Wouldn’t mind living in Japan like you, even though the Taco Bell sucks😂. This was such a fun day cruising around Tokyo eating tacos. Thanks for watching and commenting!
No, we’re back in San Diego currently, but are planning our trip back: hopefully November or February. We can’t get enough! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hey guys! Somebody said that the most upsetting thing in Japan is that Japan has so many f-king high-tech items but not enough Mexican restaurant. I agree... :D
lol haha this is true! I feel like so many Mexican foods are made from tomatillos and rehydrated chilies so we always wonder why it’s such a hard flavor to find internationally. We are lucky to live 15 minutes from the border so we are spoiled. Next time we visit we want to do a burger video!
In Japanese TBs they only give 1 sauce per item even if u beg. In American TBs they give u 20 sauces per item even tho u didn't ask for it. Ofc it all ends up in the trash & costs the businesses money too. 🤷♂️

There we go! We missed you guys! We're watching the rest of the Tokyo series with a friend. She said "I love these two, they look like happy people!"
That’s so awesome! We actually just woke up craving tacos and decided to only eat tacos all day😂. They weren’t quite as good as the tacos in Mexico but this was one of our favorite days of our whole trip! Thanks a million for sharing our videos with your squad!💯
I am Japanese and found it very informative. Good video.
Thank you so much for watching our tasty Japan adventure!
You guys asking if enchiladas are tacos makes me laugh, because my husband always argues that cereal is cold soup! I love it.
😂 people always ask us what we talk about when we are traveling and mostly it’s things like this! I love so so much that we’re not alone!
This is the video the world has been waiting for!❤
Worlds colliding! These our our favorite types of videos to make and everyone’s least favorite to watch😂

mmmm those $4 nachos look SO good!
They’re giving em away! Chipotle could NEVER

I enjoyed your video at this time, too.
I’d love to visit San Diego, if JPY becomes stronger😂
lol San Diego is so Expensive! 😭 Definitely wait a little until the Yen is stronger. We might be making some San Diego videos this winter. We have some great Japanese food. Thanks for watching as always!
You seems like a soooo cute American couple! Love it!
Thanks so much ❤️ your kind words made our day so much better. We love each other, we love to travel but most of all we love to eat😂

You 2! Are Taco Predators! Explore more! Hey go to TJ!
😂 haha this is the best comment! We want shirts that say “Taco Predators”😂. We live close to TJ and will try to get a video uploaded from there soon!
That would be awesome, make the shirts and the video. Thanks 🙏

12 hour taco tour……that’s your next biznes venture
Haha tacos with the burkes. We want to do a walking tour in NYC called Wake & Bake & Egg & Chee😂
Most of the Taco Bells have closed here in Calgary. The only ones left are the ones that are combo restaurants in KFC, and you can't get their full menus, which sucks!
We had no idea the menus were shortened! Maybe you could make some weird combo meals🤣. Alyssa and I call those “Kentacobells”

Makes sense. We love spicy food and use way too much of the hot sauce when we go. We also take it home with us and use it at home on our eggs🤣
sweet... lol yup J peeps sweeten everything FFS
Almost like sukiyaki. We had a ton of fun on this day but have had better tacos😬
stingy portions of salsa lol ...
...so sorry.
😂 haha we thought the same thing lol. They were like shot glasses
Yeah.... nothing looks like mexican food at all. Nice try Japan. 😅😅😅
😂🤟 shots fired! Haha our Mexico City taco tour was better than this one but this was one of the most fun days we’ve had in a while!
